2 years ago, at the running store that I still work in, John actually came in because he'd left his shoes at his girlfriend's (parents'?) house back in Boston and needed to get the same pair. while I was fitting him in the replacement Adrenalines I confessed that I actually did know who he was, and that my friend had only a week or so ago introduced me to his stand up. I then asked him sheepishly if he would sign a postcard for me to send her, because it was one of the more surreal moments to happen to me at the time. He laughed and was totally fine with it. Really nice guy, really funny.
I think I speak for all the ladies here when I ask: shoe size? 'Cause he looks like a freaking size 15.

@@psyifinotic "I saw Flying Lotus at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly."

Why is everyone so hung up on Jimmy's laugh? It's literally half of the comments. I don't understand. How did everyone decide that it is fake? Is it entirely impossible that he is genuinely amused enough to laugh like that? Do you think that Jimmy might just be a person who laughs a lot, and with great gusto? And if it is fake, does it really matter? It's such an insanely trivial thing to be angry about. Such are the enigmas of the RUclips comments section I guess.
It just sounds fake. There is a way that a laugh typically sounds when not forced and it does not sound like that. If you can't see/hear it then other people can. The most likely inauthentic nature of it is insulting as it's as if he expects us to fall for it, and the laugh itself sounds annoying.
Honestly anyone who has followed this guy since he was on SNL knows the way jimmy is. He finds everything funny that's why he couldn't stop laughing in his skits. Everyone who finds him annoying are new to jimmy and can't get used to his personality.
chrislopez44 I have known him since SNL, I'm 28. I know he broke character many times, that doesn't mean he can't fake laughs. I still think it's annoying and probably fake.
I, personally, love Jimmy's laugh. When someone gets him going, it is priceless and it makes me laugh even harder.
when fallon was on snl he would always start laughing during the skits.....this would happen very often not very professional! and then he gets his own show......nothing shady with that!
Man, this guy is hi-larious. I heard he's hit a rough patch, hope he gets well soon. Who knows, maybe he'll get some decent material out of the whole rehab experience, share that insight and wit of his, and help alleviate some of the large scale misery we are all enduring.
He and Olivia Munn just had their baby, so I think things are looking up

Half of John's humor is in his comedic timing which is excellent. His jokes are so simple yet his delivery makes them so much more funny.

I don't believe Jimmy's laugh is fake. He was on SNL for years and he broke character A LOT because of his inability to contain his laughter. He just laughs a lot. Just my opinion but whatevski.

I had the pleasure of seeing him live in concert several years ago in South Florida. I was dying to meet him. When he was about to be wisked away in an SUV, I was able to be the last fan to approach him and shake his hand! (His hands were super soft...you're shocked, I know...lol)

As pointed out by a couple others, it's 'Mur-FREES-boro', not 'Murfreersboro'.
I graduated from MTSU there, and lived there for about 12 years. Great town. Friendly people. Being a college town not surprising his heckle was so eloquent. Lots of good, smart & talented people in Murfreesboro.
I have been to Murfreesboro tn many times, as I'm from a town an hour and a half from there. I can totally see this. We are raised to be very polite so when someone insults you it takes a beat for you to realize it,....lol
