The “boyfriend” lool actually stayed and hung out with y’all that’s awesome
It was, but what I find weird is how they interrupted a complete stranger to ask him to be her boyfriend, but they felt like the other guy was the one intruding.😳🤔🤣🤣 A bit of hypocrisy in my opinion.
@@sagittarius420cheefie lol. I thought the very same thing. No one likes someone coming on too strong. Also, it's difficult to communicate interest in a secondary language or culture that isn't your own.
@@sagittarius420cheefie I think, in the bigger picture, it's unfair to call it hypocrisy due Uche and Bisola's position: people often treating them as "sideshow attractions" and feel the right to approach to satisfy their curiosity. Evidently, the locals often do this and the women have no power to control this.
On the other hand, the "boyfriend" character was approached out of "romantic interest," wasn't forced to continue the conversation, and even looked happy to be interacting with them (and stayed with them until evening), so I don't see a problem between the interaction when Uche approached him.
You're comparing a bunch of people gathering around the ladies and treating them like zoo animals time and again (the "other guy" touched them both without permission, for god's sake-doesn't that count as "intruding"?) to the ladies trying to strike up a conversation with a cute guy-and saying that the women's actions were hypocritical (when they were nothing but patient with so much "intrusion" while maintaining personal boundaries).
I don't think that's logical. 🤷♂️
@@vagrantastronaut None of that has anything to do with the fact that they did to the "boyfriend" what they wouldn't want done to them, which is the entire point here.
@@kellandaniel5581 Thank you
I appreciate the way you and Uche always put effort into your appearance when you’re out in public, always well put together. People might not understand it but it makes a big difference in how people perceive you, especially in a foreign country. The fact that people are always crowding around you is more than just you being black, it’s also the fact that you’re always well groomed and smiling warmly around them (even when you don’t feel like it because it can be exhausting). Thank you for representing all black girls well.
Absolutely this!!!!!
Yess!
True
That's such a good point! These ladies are stunning!!!

The “Chinese boyfriend”, cute school girls, auntie with the afro, cute babies, Uche’s hilarious boldness…. there was so much to love about this video. 99% of the other vlogs about Black folks in China highlight the incessant picture taking and stares by locals that alienate Black travelers, but your interactions with the people were so genuine and warm it really made me see China in a better light.
Seeing the few Chinese people lucky enough to be allowed out in public, makes you feel good about China? Genuine question.
China is nice nation and her development has been totally amazing even in the year 2023.
Because China can't watch RUclips, people rarely see black people, curious
Consider that there's A LOT of sinophobic propaganda being pumped out by Uncle Sam, so once war kicks off over there, they can easily get away with a lot of shit.
To be fair, Asian tourists also get the same treatment of staring in rural Africa. It's not negative. Just natural human curiosity that no race is exempt from.
Nigerians are the most confident Africans on the continent. Even their girls!
It truly is remarkable
哈哈 这哥们可能觉着用筷子吃不了西餐。。。。哈哈哈哈
I love how Africans though seriously underlooked and discriminated by everyone still manage to hold to their humanity and positivity. Calling elderly people Aunty coz we must be respectful to them in Africa. Wow.

I really wanna see how the story goes with the chinese "boyfriend", he seem very openminded and nice but also he kinda looked like those Anime main characters with glasses, he looked cute in my opinion! I hope you can stay as friends at least!!
Classy girls. Not everyone would react so positively to being treated like oddities (I'm sure the people don't have any ill intentions; they are just VERY insular). Oh, and the ladies speak lovely Mandarin too.
Sending you guys nothing but love and support from Asia!
NOT insular - wanting to communicate, but not knowing quite how - is nearer.

The linguistic talent of Africans is impressive. They can go anywhere in the world and learn the language of the host country. I'm told the average African child can speak about 3 languages by the age of 3. African linguistic intelligence is undeniable. Wadu Naija girls! Nigeria no carry last. Igbo kwenu!

I think Chinese people might just be more open and respectful to other type of people than what I’ve heard of Most Koreans to be
I taught Koreans were friendly just assuming I don't know anything about them
Yeah if this black woman were in Korea she wouldn't be treated as nice as in this video. She's get weird stares and disrespected.
Honestly, I have always wanted to visit china and Korea to spend some time there. But watching this video really is giving me second thoughts. And 2nd hand embarrassment. As a shy person I don't think I can handle things the way they did. They were very positive and open minded towards the people. And very bold and courageous. I would just run away or go back home once people started acting weird. Because who would anyone be taking creepy pics of someone who isn't a celebrity without consent..And from then I wouldn't go out again. Kudos for being so bold
You can go to the big cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen. There are more foreigners. More people speak English. Local people don't get crowded staring at you.
Sandra - this is much your imaginary exaggeration of possibilities than reality. Reality - you are more anonymous and free to be you in Asia than in the West. You'll know what I mean once your there - the West is all about conforming; in Asia, you can relax. Trust me.

Urghhh, that guy who went up to the camera and flirt with the girl is gross, however just like the guys flirt with you on the street in America, you get that everywhere in the world as long as you are a female.
Actually it isn’t spoken about outside of Asia but yet a good bit of the population actually has textured hair - they just get it straightened. Even in India.
Well I was taught in cosmetology asians hair are more coarse hair then black people
🤔coarseness has more to do w/shape of hair follicle. cylinder like follicles are shinier & can be coarse. Not absorbing much & are stronger. But not necessarily soft hand feel. This brings me back to my days I lived in China... The cigarettes everywhere was definitely a problem for me. One time I was in an elevator and a Chinese man lit his cigarette!!! I couldn't believe it... I really enjoyed your content. I definitely understand what it's like to get all that attention, but my Mandarin is nowhere as good as you ladies, so I couldn't effectively communicate the way you do! Much respect!!!
Smoking is prohibited in many places, especially in closed environments. There are already laws making rules in China.
Oh well
Well done. You are a good vlogger. I enjoyed the video. Watched the whole thing without noticing the time. Thank you!
