In Toronto Canada, most of the subway stations do not have washrooms. People just pee everywhere on the alleys outside the stations. You can smell the subway stations before you see them.

I don’t think Shenzhen is that great. It’s just a bustling city. For long-term living, I believe there are many other cities in China that are more suitable than Shenzhen😺
Shenzhen has the best public transportation among the entire country and has abundant resources in many fields, but this city's housing price and living costs are crazy and it faces consistent inflation problem
I live in Shanghai. Every city in China has its own unique characteristics.Capital: Beijing, Magic Capital: Shanghai, Yangcheng: Guangzhou, Peng city: Shenzhen, Rongcheng: Chengdu, Jinling: Nanjing, Silk House: Hangzhou, Mountain City: Chongqing, Jiangcheng: Wuhan, Spring City: Kunming, Sunlight City: Lhasa, Ice City: Harbin, Qingcheng: Hohhot, the eldest son of the Republic and the Oriental Ruhr: Shenyang, Jincheng: Lanzhou, Phoenix: Yinchuan, Greentown: Zhengzhou, Badu: Hefei, Shuicheng: Suzhou, Petroleum City: Daqing, Meicheng: Datong, Gangdu: Anshan, Canal Capital: Huai 'an, little shanghai: Wuxi ... There are 691 cities in China, and there are many other cities you can explore.
I’m from Shenzhen, and this is a fantastic video. In fact, the place you visited, Bitou, is located in Bao’an District of Shenzhen, a newly developed area. The western and northern parts of Shenzhen will become new growth hubs for the city in the future. The place you saw will experience significant development in the next ten years and will become the new western center of Shenzhen. This is a great video, and I wish you good luck, sir.
You dont need to bring cash anywhere in China. Alipay and wechat pay is everywhere even in the smallest cities. Cash payment acceptance has to be mandated by law because no one use cash anymore.
You have to love clueless Western commentary. China, especially Shenzhen is growing fast, you saw 6 whole skyscrapers? there are literally hundreds being completed every month dear. They will be empty until the grounds are completed, the gardens planted and people will come very quickly because Shenzhen is a highly sought after City for workers. I lived there. you are talking about a city of 15 million people that was a fishing village 35 years ago, its growth is staggering. You have to understand how China works, they will build build build and are not in any rush to sell. It has the highest number of billionaires of any City in the world near enough, incredibly rich. Believe me when they are on sale they will sell. But it may well be the developers are not ready to sell, they might be developing the surrounding areas, parks, gardens, putting in facilities around it. There are many reasons. When they open, they will fill fast.
I’m always giving my honest opinion, and I will always keep doing that! I don’t mean to offend anyone, because I am always positive and love to learn more about other cultures 🤍😍🇨🇳🙏🏼
Chinese people like to gamble. Go to any casino you know, and see what kind of people are there. CHinese people are also trade people, way back in ancient time in Tang dynasty, the silk road is the testament of it. The rich people bought these apartments with 1 intention, to rent it out later on so that when they get old, they have safety net. Shenzen is expensive place, the rent money is big enough to live somewhere else cheap. They are sold out, but a lot of these apartments will stay empty, making it impossible for "honest work honest pay" people to buy them. Country with people who like to gamble always has risks, this is one of them, you will see.
@@handaxia1251 Honest workers can buy them just fine. I lived in Shenzhen and while there are super rich areas there are also very moderate areas dapeng area. Also in China loans and financing are easily available to people at very low rates so its not the issue you make it out to be. Most "honest workers" when they are in their 40s will have many houses. Where I work all the staff who handle the cleaning and cooking have 10,14 houses and come to work in Teslas. So I think you're a little out of sync with reality there. The pay in Shenzhen is also much higher than other cities so it evens out. The cost of living overall is very low in China so 90% of people are better off than Western equivalents. Even the gardener has more houses and money than I do mate.
@@handaxia1251 What the hack are you talking about? Gambling is illegal in China, the only city you can do that is Macau. Had you ever been to SZ? Where did you see those sold /empty buildings? I'm literally lived in here. Okay?
The overdevelopment of real estate in China has gradually cooled down. The housing prices have also started to decline. I think China's real estate industry has ushered in winter.
I have read your blog, it's great, very down-to-earth. Do you know what down-to-earth means? Because I also enjoy traveling in a down-to-earth way, which is to go to a scenic spot and walk around with my own feet, hoping to experience something different. Here is a suggestion for you. In fact, China's shared bicycles are very convenient. Riding a bicycle is more effortless than walking, and at the same time, it is also down-to-earth.

Nice vlog on exploring an area off the beaten path in Shenzhen! Using the metro will probably be my and my family's main mode of transportation when exploring the city. So I can understand why you take clips of the metro in every video you took in the city. Hopefully, I can see you in Bangkok personally if I am lucky to bump into you.
Hello in China, it is usually divided into motor vehicle roads and non motor vehicle lanes. Electric vehicles need to walk on the same side of the asphalt road as people, while sidewalks are usually higher than the road surface. If there are no non motorized lanes, electric bicycles need to be ridden on the higher parts of the road, especially in Shenzhen. So buddy, it's actually you walking on the non motorized lane. It is illegal for electric bicycles to walk on the motor vehicle lane. Some road surfaces do not have a green belt between the non motorized and motorized lanes, and in this case, the sidewalk is separate. Please pay attention to road markings.
The six-day visa-free transit policy makes China a popular choice for international travelers. A short stay allows visits to multiple cities, letting travelers experience the unique charm of China. 144 hours is more than enough to fall in love with this country!
Man, idon't understand why you choose to visit a random industrial area in Shenzhen. It has nothing of tourism to offer but this is where the power and wealth of China comes from. Boring and enduriance. And you choice of eating yuntun noodle in a local working class restaurant, is a perfect demonstration of how this mass production ability is built on: affordable food.
Actually that part of the world is not spicy originally. The chili was introduced from the other regions and they use the hot stuff for the changing taste.
I can't believe that you took a long subway ride and walked a long way in the 30-degree heat on a hot day, and just ate a bowl of wontons? Oh my God! Shenzhen actually has a lot of fun places, but it's a pity that you didn't go. What a pity.😂😂😂😂

There is no need to take high speed train from Shenzhen to Hong Kong, as these two cuties are just nextdoor, you just need to take the regular train or cross border buses to you then place near your hotel.
Nice move to add up mandarin subtitles, however, that’s still a bit odd, as that’s directly translated from the system, based on oral, so quite a few of them are wrongly interpreted lol. It’d be great if someone could review the typos and such.
I am from London and Shenzen is an amazing city, no idea what this guy is yapping on about … feel free to return to where you came from! Thank you and goodbye sir.

No country is perfect including China, but its a society that keeps reinventing itself to be better. Mistakes made are corrected and right measures are in place to ensure it doesn't repeat. Its a fair sharing of the real China, its good and fallen short areas. Thank you
I am not sure why you went to Bitou, but glad you enjoyed yourself and realized that the propaganda about China is false.. If you spend a bit more time in Shenzhen and the rest of China you would understand better. China is developing fast.
I just wanted to see what the outskirts of Shenzhen looked like, and was hoping to find the real day-to-day life of Chinese people. I didn't know what to expect before going haha
Look, nobody wants to live in an unfinished building, but when the building is finished, people will eventually get interested, buy it and start to live in there. Do not think everyone is like you. You may not like the look of the apartment because it has that 'Chinese' feel to it, but to Chinese people, those buildings are fine, and they WANT to live in there. I understand that you may compare it to your own house in your home country, and your house may look better and more comfortable than those apartments, but that doesnt justify you to claim that nobody will want to live in such apartment.
Let's get Ali to pay for everything. LOL. (Ali Pay) The AI translation cracks me up! Calling the yellow jersey delivery guy, 奴才, which literally translates to "slave." That is so fitting but also sad at the same time.

Woowwww 70 countries?! That’s amazing, you must have seen so many things 😱😍🫶
兄弟,你的旅行真的很随意😁哈哈
Yes, I know! But in September I am going to Shanghai and Beijing to make new travel vlogs!! Stay tuned! 🫶🇨🇳😍
chengdu is best city in china i thought
Noted! I will certainly go there in the future!! 😍🙏
There is no need to take high speed train from Shenzhen to Hong Kong, as these two cuties are just nextdoor, you just need to take the regular train or cross border buses to you then place near your hotel.
Why is this titled "everything is a lie?"
It seemed pretty clean and nice, although I'm a countryside guy
Oh, it’s because of what the western media tells us about china. China is amazing!! Thanks for watching man 🫶🇨🇳
Man, you made me laugh when you say 'let's see if they accept Alipay'😂. I will say 99%of China accept Alipay.
Almost NOBODY uses "old people money" anymore, it's all Alipay or Weixinpay on your phone.
Yes, I know know that 😂 Oh, and in September I am going to Shanghai and Beijing to make new travel vlogs!! Stay tuned! 🫶🇨🇳😍
Nice move to add up mandarin subtitles, however, that’s still a bit odd, as that’s directly translated from the system, based on oral, so quite a few of them are wrongly interpreted lol. It’d be great if someone could review the typos and such.
You’re right!! I’m trying my best 😅 Oh, and in September I am going to Shanghai and Beijing to make new travel vlogs!! Stay tuned! 🫶🇨🇳😍
@@oliverdadema 🥰🥰
I am from London and Shenzen is an amazing city, no idea what this guy is yapping on about … feel free to return to where you came from! Thank you and goodbye sir.
Lmao, make sure to watch my other Shenzhen videos. I am not ‘yappping’ 😉
Welcome Oliver t china . Waiting you to visit ChongQing city in china . It’s most futuristic city in china . It’s most population city in the world with 35 million peoples . It’s have most modern infrastructures . It had already more than 20000 bridges .
Wow!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT 🤩🤍🙏🏼 I wrote Chongqing on my list, will definitely to there in the future, any good restaurants or clubs you recommend me? THANKS AGAIN!!! 🥰
Welcome to Shenzhen, in China you have to use Baidu Map or Gaode map
Thanks for the tip!! Oh, and in September I am going to Shanghai and Beijing to make new travel vlogs!! Stay tuned! 🫶🇨🇳😍
Are you going to other cities in 🇨🇳?
Yes!!! My next trip is planned and booked: in September I am going to Shanghai and Beijing to make new travel vlogs!! Stay tuned! 🫶🇨🇳😍

wow! bro u should go to hai-hang-shi-jie海上世界 and Shui-wan水湾, there are so many foreigners there, haha, many of them are working in Shenzhen~~
Thanks for the suggestion!!! And thanks for watching 🙏🏼😍🇨🇳
I wish you all the best👍
Thank you!! And thanks for watching 🙏🏼😍🇨🇳
哈哈,以前住福永时上班天天坐11号线到福田。
And I was in that same metro too, how nice!! Oh, and in September I am going to Shanghai and Beijing to make new travel vlogs!! Stay tuned! 🫶🇨🇳😍

Thankss 🙏🏼😍
You have reached the edge of urban construction in Shenzhen
YES!! Hahaha, how more local can you go? ;p
@@oliverdadema 你下回可以先做好攻略
Bitou is suburb of Shenzhen city.
u are right
Which part of Shenzhen did you go? Anyway, you should know the difference between China and US now. Good luck
2:53 entrepreneur's industrial park
wait a damn minute, u only got 24 hours in Shenzhen, but u visted the most rural and unpopular metro stations/areas?? NOW HOLD ON!
See my other vids, I already visited many places in Shenzhen before. This was just at the end of the 24 hours 🙏🏼🤩
@@oliverdadema watched them all already, chile, u better hit me up and let me tour u around next time when u visit SZ
Let's get Ali to pay for everything. LOL. (Ali Pay)
The AI translation cracks me up! Calling the yellow jersey delivery guy, 奴才, which literally translates to "slave." That is so fitting but also sad at the same time.
Yes, hahaha 'oops' 😂😱😭
I used to live near there and there were so many electric bikes.
Is it delicious?as your saying
Yes 🤤 Oh, and in September I am going to Shanghai and Beijing to make new travel vlogs!! Stay tuned! 🫶🇨🇳😍

What's the purpose to go Bitou?
I wanted to see if I could see more of the ‘real’ Chinese culture, away from the big city 😅
