I think a huge win for the 2 over the original Ronin S is the weight. I knew of the features of the 2 but it wasn't until I held one that I wanted to upgrade (on top of the other features and feeling the better build quality). Really adds up over a full day of shooting
The gimbal for the camera is very nice! The video is also very easy to watch. I love. I bought the DJI RSC 2. It's very easy to use. The video was fun! I will come to play again. With love from Japan :)
"Doesnt look like a bomb when you are going to the airport"... hahah. I had the same feels about my Zhiyun-Tech Crane 3S since the case wasnt travel friendly either. I just ordered the RS2 Pro combo recently. I love the gimbal too!
@@ScottTakai That’s not what I’d asked! The question is, how are you able to connect an external drive to the BMPCC4k if the cameras USB port is already taken up by the gimbal control? Thank you.
Great video, question though atm im using the RSC2 (which is very close to the same as the RS2) finding the raveneye to be kind of a hinderance more than a help, the active track is about the only thing I use and I feel it is ok at best. Curious your thoughts on the the need for the raveneye if you are not really using active track and and going to be using a ninja monitor instead of the phone, seems to me that the active track is usable but not necessary and only other reason to use it is a external wifi monitor which I really have no use for. Any thoughts would be fantastic.
The only time I’ve personally used it is when I’m running with the ronin and can’t look at the monitor. That way it could track someone while I could focus on not dying 😂
To avoid accidental touching the screen, you can lock it by press once the power button and press again to unlock.
Thanks for the tip!! 🙏
Finally a review that is not showing slomo footage. And a great one
Congrats. Subscribed. Greetings from Spain
I love this video, very detailed!
Thanks Chrys!! 🙏

Agreed! All day shoots with the RS1 leaves me fatigued where the RS2 I feel pretty good
man, u r the only one pointing those issues! and provide solutions for them! thx!
Of course!
Hey Scott, great video. Very thorough review. Great job. I went with the RSC 2 still in the testing phase but I think it has some great possibilities.
Thanks for taking the time to watch Thomas! Yup I think both have great creative possibilities
Great Video! And, thanks for taking the time to create chapters. That was VERY considerate of you.
Of course 🙏
The fisheye lens is definitely an interesting choice
It was the only available camera i had lol

The most important feature! How are you liking it?
You remind me of Chris Hau, your voice especially 🙈 Tnx for the video!
Haha thanks! Funny that you say that, I’m in Toronto right now
@@ScottTakai Haha, life is funny! :) Say hi to powerful Toronto all the way from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina ^^ 🤘🏻
Bro switch your gopro over to linear so your bedroom walls arent curved
But I love me the curves
your door looks warped, and melted?
Help me fix it
I love the real insights
Thanks dude 🙏
I sniffed the like button. It was weird.
I sniffed it too and it was also weird
Great review buddy! Fresh! Subd. Love to see your Channel grow. This is classic RUclips at its best. P.S I often shoot with a GH5s and EF glass ;))
Thanks dude 🙏 I grew up on classic RUclips. I like the format better than new youtube. Thanks for pointing that out
@@ScottTakai I just picked up my RS2 Pro with handle bars too :)) keep up the great work and fun genuine vibes :)))
Thanks man!! Same to you 🤙
How can you keep your external SSD connected to the BMPCC4k, if you have to use the camera’s usb-c port for camera control on the gimbal?
When i've balanced the BMPCC4k I would actually use the SSD as a counterweight on top of the camera

Loved the damn music choice, subbed lol. Great Gimbal from DJI
Thanks dude ! I think it is too
Hi, can we charge camera while it works on this gimble?
I don't think you can
