@Dudebro13454 Bro Many events in the series actually happened as for example when Spartacus burned the arena of Capua and went down the mountain to kill Glaber. The point is that Spartacus defeated several Roman legions that were not shown in the series and was the slave that hit Rome in such a way that she had to give 10 legions to Crassus and summon Pompey to stop Spartacus.
I imagine this is what some of the slave uprising during the American civil war looked like 😂 You know those racist white plantation owners were mad as hell when they died to their own slaves
xxlCortez Aw come on. We all wish that Andy had gone on to finish Spartacus and do much more after that. But Liam was an absolutely phenomenal Spartacus as well. This is why Spartacus is (imo) the BEST show in the WORLD! The way they build up the story is amazing. This is the only show ever where I was blown away by what I saw. It's a truly amazing show, but Spartacus is just unbeatable. Even with the sloppy CGI, it managed to outshine any other show. Again, this is all in my opinion.
madmarvin99 Well, that's because there isn't much known about the actual Spartacus. In the show, they use what is known about the Third Servile War, and build around those things. The movie is just a movie, so they can focus only on what is truly known about those events, therefor, making it more realistic. Now I'm not going to pretend like Spartacus is all that realistic, because they use MA and walk in snow blizards while half naked, but I still find it much more enjoyable than the movie. I really like the dialogue and acting in the show, along with the feeling like no one you like in the show is safe from death. I didn't know much about Spartacus and the TSW before I watched the show, which makes me glad because it made everything that happened be a total surprise to me.
I totally agree with this comment, GoT is a great show, and the production invested a lot in wardrobe, sceneries, etc., but this show is unbeatable, the acting, the dialogues, the characters, it's just the best production ever.
Matic Senčar I disagree. I wish people would stop putting those mainstream shows on a pedestal so much. It's not like they're perfect. People always dismiss Spartacus for a lack of production quality caused by the low budget they had, and because it had some unrealistic aspects like people being half naked in snow blizzards and stuff like that, but what the show lacks in those fine details, it makes up with dialogue and acting and story. It has an incredibly inspirational message that still applies to this day, and will until slavery is completely gone from the world. The actors were all very good at delivering their words, and the dialogue feels almost poetic. The fight scenes are thrilling, and the whole way they bring Roman times to life is just amazing. I'm sorry, but I now, and always will, prefer Spartacus over GoT and Breaking Bad.
