Hardhome was such a great battle scene. Jon is a great fighter and lethal foe yet he's very young still. Imagine what he'll be like 20years later. Unstoppable I suspect.
i loved his season 8 fights seasons, instead of using the blade he learned to use a much more powerful weapon his tongue, to deliver devastating blows such as, "she is muh quen", or "i dun wan et"
He seemed to have struggled with Karl Tanner the most out of all the fights we've seen so far. But it was also interesting to see that he learnt from that fight. Anything counts, as long as you get the kill, and we see him do this again when he kills the Magnar Thenn at Castle Black, by spitting his own blood, blinding him, then shattering his skull with a hammer. Game of Thrones writers are great with the little throwbacks and subtle developments.
Battle of Bastards is one of the most stunning battle sequences ever. That long shot of Jon fighting his way through the bolton army is a thing of beauty. Mad respect to all cast and crew who put that together♥️

I love when the white walker was slowly walking up to Jon thinking like he’s the king shit then when his spear hits Jon’s blade and doesn’t shatter he instantly takes the whole duel seriously in those last moments when he realize Jon can fight back. It just shows you how the white walkers are use to being unchallenged and generally handle everything lightly because they know they’re like Demi gods.
Jon is probably the most dynamic fighter in the entire series. He's always been gifted with a sword, but at the start, he was just barely above average with a blade. Definitely at the tip-top of the Apprentice Class, but still firmly in that class. As the series progressed and as he gained more battlefield experience, we actually see the evolution of his fighting style. We see him adapt, we see him apply trial and error, and we see him grow. What he lacks in formal training, he makes up for in actually hardened battle experience. As he stands in the series up to date, I'd dare say he's a high-tier fighter. He'd likely be able to beat Brienne and The Hound. And I'd dare say he'd even be able to keep a two-handed Jaime Lannister and Barristan Selmy on their toes, although he would not beat them. He's not quite that good.
If he's in a fight he can't win, he won't try to win by conventional mean. What makes Jon so unkillable so far isn't only his swordskill, but his pragmatic style and great stamina. That's the mark of the experience of battle, he realized a sword isn't always the best weapon, so he uses just about anything to get to the opponent. He just survived a grueling battle, fighting non stop against impossible odds, and he see Bolton bolting toward the castle. What does he do? He takes 5 seconds to breath and *runs to the castle*. Once there, Bolton threaten him with a bow. What does he do? Will he valiantly brandish his magical sword, gift of the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, symbol of his power and precious companion through the hardships? Hell no, he throw it away like a stick and grab the nearest shield lying in the muck, block the arrows and pummel Bolton into the ground. But aside from maybe his duel in the raid on Craster's Keep, his plot armor doesn't do much for him in his personal fights.
Well dude I think that Jon snow has a lot of capabilities of winning a fight, but if we go beyond GOF, let's say in the star wars universe he can probably beat most of the jedi order, yeah they have the force but that's no good against someone that has been in really grueling battles and is a survivor, jon can probably beat all of the padawans and take on the knights, but I dare say it keep some of masters on their toes, jon is someone that has the brains and the balls to do what needs to be done in every fight.
The scene where he fights the white Walker is way too good. From the music and the build up to when he blocks with his personal sword. The way the music pauses after he gets knocked down at first. It’s perfect
Say what you want about Harrington's acting skills, he knows how to fence. His sword fights are always thrilling. He also has one of the fantasy genre's most badass swords by the way. Up there with Conan's Atlantean sword.
Jon Snow has has more experience and skill than almost anyone in Westeros. He has the most varied combat experience against many different enemies. He is the best warrior in the current timeline. Bar none.
Emperor Angelos youd destroy an enemys weapon before he could fight back and only go on a real battle if they have valyrian steel yup ice and fire are basically the best on par elements

Sooo many pple saying Jon isn't that great of a swordsman. Come on guys. Yous can't deny hes on his way to becoming one of the greats. I'm not just saying that cuz it's Jon Fookin' Snow &' hes my favorite character. Hes no Ser Arthur Dayne for example, but hes still a badass.
kefkapalazzo1 Thats why i said hes no Ser Arthur Dayne &' that hes on his way to being one of the greats lol. Hes not quite there yet, but hes still a badass.
You know how Jaime is considered the greatest swordsman of his time, well when I watch Jon fight and how he handles countless opponents continuously one after the other, the sheer skill behind every movement, where he just looks unstoppable...It makes me think *”So this is what Jaime was probably like in his prime.”*
He was a man in the night's watch, a wildling, a stark, a bastard,a traitor, a hero, a god who returned from dead, the king in the north and lastly now he's a targaryen lol
Safe to say at this point Jon is top 5 fighters out of LIVING show characters. I'd say he's in the top 3 personally. He was a monster in the battle of the bastards. After taking out like 20 people in a crazy front line battle and nearly getting trampled he bum rushed a castle and took out Ramsay (a good fighter as well) like he was fighting his little kid brother. Jon didn't start this show off as a total badass he's learned over lots of duels and now battles. I'd say Brienne, the Hound, and now in fact Arya are probably close competition at this point. Grey Worm is also a beast but he's tougher to rank with fewer fights. Although Jon vs Bronn would be a damn good fight too - I think Jon is better. But ya'll know who the best is - and it's Euron Fucking Greyjoy.
at 10:25 the only thing that goes through my mind is jon thinking "what? what was that? *stares at white walker* did you see that shit?" and the white walker.. "yep, i saw that shit." jon has one of the best story lines to my liking, next to Arya Stark.
strange3able that’s bc Jon was fighting w a longsword during short range combat, which isn’t very effective. Otherwise Karl wouldnt have been so tough.
I always loved the character development of Jon Snow from the first season to season six (my head canon doesn’t include the last two seasons). He slowly goes from a simple member of the Night’s Watch to a fleshed out bold leader :)
What's the point in being a good fighter if nothing can kill you. It makes sense for me, that they are so used to crush any opponents that they are weak against the ones that are in fact a real threat.
Except, Jon Snow is one of the best fighters on the show, getting better with each fight. And the walker he faced at first shit stomped him something fierce. It smashed his shit with a freaking ice polearm and one hit with the butt of the staff nearly took him out. The power behind that blow sent him flying like twenty feet.
Never noticed that when Jon is about to fight Qhorin Halfhand, he reaches for the sword Ygritte throws him with one untied hand and the next image shows his hands tied again.
AestheticsisLife You still have to give him credit. He fought with a long sword in close quarters against a skillfull double short sword master who allegedly took down knights. And he only lost after a tactful spit in the eye by the legend.

Time stamp?
His leg work is so on point.
Say what you want about Harrington's acting skills, he knows how to fence. His sword fights are always thrilling. He also has one of the fantasy genre's most badass swords by the way. Up there with Conan's Atlantean sword.
I think he was a pretty good actor in the show
Yeah his swordplay is pretty good
Jon Snow has has more experience and skill than almost anyone in Westeros.
He has the most varied combat experience against many different enemies.
He is the best warrior in the current timeline. Bar none.
I would have definitely took that white walkers sword
Emperor Angelos youd destroy an enemys weapon before he could fight back and only go on a real battle if they have valyrian steel yup ice and fire are basically the best on par elements
Kobe Targaryen i would have took that sword as proof they exist and because its a sword that shatters all normal steel
Taking that weapon to the wall might have broken the magical protection of the wall as it did with the abode of the three eyed crow.
Qaz Wsx I'd just carry it right outside the wall and be like hey you guys come check this out its a white walkers sword and bring your swords and hit it as proof lol i'd be like yeah they are real and just raised like hundreds of thousands of dead wildlings as wrights so yeah thats a problem we have now
Yeah, but you know who HE is right ? He is Jon Snow and that's why he knows nothing.
Jon vs Night King will be epic in S8
Can't imagine
coming in only 5 days from today :)
Man...
Digama John snow vs a dragon was nice too... I guess
Lol
Sooo many pple saying Jon isn't that great of a swordsman. Come on guys. Yous can't deny hes on his way to becoming one of the greats. I'm not just saying that cuz it's Jon Fookin' Snow &' hes my favorite character. Hes no Ser Arthur Dayne for example, but hes still a badass.
It'sKelsoBruh Mance fucked him up pretty bad in the books. Of course he's like 16-17 but still
Sadly he is dead
kefkapalazzo1 Thats why i said hes no Ser Arthur Dayne &' that hes on his way to being one of the greats lol. Hes not quite there yet, but hes still a badass.
tjerk verweij Hes alive...
I can give atleast 5 fucking arguments why he is fucking terrible.
The only reason why he isn't dead is because his enemies are even more stupid.
Jon Snow has evolved from average fighter to one of the best fighter in the show.
Kit should have learned how to sword fight by now😂😭. He has the most fighting scenes in the show. Almost in every season.
There are many like me who hate the way they ended jon snow's story but believe it or not, it was that ending Jon snow always wanted!
6:45 is the best scene ever!!!!
Kit Harrington is a joy to watch. When he fought the Thenn, he looked like he was dancing.
Anyone got a kill count listed for this badass?
Jeffero77 probably 60
i would say over 100, battle of the bastards he was cleaning up the battlefield like a madman
MN Schlatz he has 21 on screen kills in the Battle of the Bastards
@@Opachki69420 he cleaned an entire sector by himself
He is definitely the best swordsmen alive in GoT
10:25-10:37 will always be my favorite GOT moment.
He overswings a lot🤔, but I like how he fights athletically and uses all of his body to generate motion
He barely swung his sword in season 8...in my opinion he is the best fighter in the show
He is
Hound mountain Brienne Jamie fookin lannister broon have entered the chat
@@maheshkrishna6012 he’d beat them IMO he’s so quick and fluid
At the start of the last season he definitely is he gets better as the show goes on. He’s only 23 when the show ends
@@maheshkrishna6012 Jaime mid,no hand????
You know how Jaime is considered the greatest swordsman of his time, well when I watch Jon fight and how he handles countless opponents continuously one after the other, the sheer skill behind every movement, where he just looks unstoppable...It makes me think *”So this is what Jaime was probably like in his prime.”*
Wildlings, soldiers, white walkers. Jon Snow faced em all!
giants and theniits
He was a man in the night's watch, a wildling, a stark, a bastard,a traitor, a hero, a god who returned from dead, the king in the north and lastly now he's a targaryen lol
3kings05 he hasnt faced unsullied or dothraki yet
And soon Lannisters and Golden Company mercenaries.
jon snow is the bravest and fighter character i’ve ever seen . damn i’m obsessed with his fighting scenes ❤️
Jon snow character build
Strength - 8
Perception - 2
Endurance - 8
Charisma - 3
Intelligence - 3
Agility - 10
Luck - 10
just another account jon snow should have high charisma and luck - 100
@@adhamabulhassan6059 make strength a 5 and endurance a 9
My son is so good with the sword, just like his father
Rhaegar Targaryen Robert crushed you with a big hammer....... I would have killed all of you if not for
that witch
Lmao
This is what heaven is in got, everybody arguing, it would be awesome
Gino Caron Uhh, Rheager didn’t rape? He and Leanna loved each other
Safe to say at this point Jon is top 5 fighters out of LIVING show characters.
As it says in the books JS wasn’t the most technically gifted swordsman but he had the most heart out of all of them
If someone were to watch from 4:04 out of context, it would look like Jon just murdered some random old man for no reason.
0:16 Skyrim PowerAttack
Looks more like a hammer stike , really. He needs to learn mace etiquette
I love how, in the battle of the bastards, he is protected by the Lord of Light.
Excelente video!! Gracias por elaborarlo y compartirlo!!! 👏👏👏
The battle of the bastards was amazing to watch. All the dead on top of him. Epic.
Petition to have that episode be shown in theaters!
at 10:25 the only thing that goes through my mind is jon thinking "what? what was that? *stares at white walker* did you see that shit?" and the white walker.. "yep, i saw that shit." jon has one of the best story lines to my liking, next to Arya Stark.
2:23 tech stolen from Karl Fooken Tanner
A fookin Legend!
I like Jon because he learns lessons from everyone.
Bor Solo
fook
Jon snow as of season 6 best fighter..still young..18 years in books..and in show..younger than other best fighters
Tormund laughing like a mad man at 0:41 is fucking great 🤣
well done, great video and cool account name too. love the ending
Karl Tanner seemed to be the only one who could hold back John Snow. Respects to his fighting skills !
strange3able that’s bc Jon was fighting w a longsword during short range combat, which isn’t very effective. Otherwise Karl wouldnt have been so tough.
Jon Snow is the best character in GOT,he's remind me of Tallion from Shadow Of Mordor(Game of the year).
Sub Zero lol , the worst
@@cerseilannister7382 You again ?
I always loved the character development of Jon Snow from the first season to season six (my head canon doesn’t include the last two seasons). He slowly goes from a simple member of the Night’s Watch to a fleshed out bold leader :)
He was amazing!! He has earned every dollar production has paid him....He gave every fight scene his all ! 🙌💕💕💕🤸💯💯💯💯💕😘
7:40 "thanks brother"
7:43 "fucking Christ"
Your time stamp is a bit late but ok.
MULTI KILL..... KILLING SPREE...... LUDACRIOUS KILL..... MOMOMOMONSTER KILL
YOU HAVE TAKEN THE LEAD!
jaermoo Halo 😂
HUMILIATION
Anybody in all of Westeros: *fights Jon Snow
Jon Snow: “So you have chosen death”
One of the greatest honest-to-god-swordfighters to ever graze the screen. Absolutely amazing, almost unrealistic sometimes.
battle of the bastards is the best one in my opinion
Cobra Gaming For now
until we see
Jon snow vs the night king
He got too much drip with that blade, such a badass
first well made fight scene i have seen made for this show
KING OF THE NORTH
Jon Snow can easily take down the mountain.
😀
The best scene is Jon standing in the field alone as the Army on horseback charges in.
you are so powerful my lord Azor Ahai
without their immortality, white walkers are terrible fighter
they probably didn't have to fight anyone for a very long time.
they all are, especially the "good ones" with their showy spins xD
it is not choreographed to look real and effective, it is to look good
Nghi ppl l p p MO l Mel
Ppm
What's the point in being a good fighter if nothing can kill you. It makes sense for me, that they are so used to crush any opponents that they are weak against the ones that are in fact a real threat.
Except, Jon Snow is one of the best fighters on the show, getting better with each fight. And the walker he faced at first shit stomped him something fierce. It smashed his shit with a freaking ice polearm and one hit with the butt of the staff nearly took him out. The power behind that blow sent him flying like twenty feet.
Never noticed that when Jon is about to fight Qhorin Halfhand, he reaches for the sword Ygritte throws him with one untied hand and the next image shows his hands tied again.
great video man
I think now after season seven we can say that Jon has reached the level of Jaime and ser barristan selmy in swordsmanship
Busy Banny no
Busy Banny yeah, around the same level now probably.
He stood no chance against the fooking legend!
AestheticsisLife You still have to give him credit. He fought with a long sword in close quarters against a skillfull double short sword master who allegedly took down knights. And he only lost after a tactful spit in the eye by the legend.
The fact Jon found his sheath and belt after the battle of the bastards is probably the most unlikely part of the entire show lmao
Jon is the proof that effort beats talent
my fuckin boyyyy
Jom by the end if the series will def be the most skilled warriors
CANT WAIT FOR THIS WINTER!!!
Jon Knows nothing but did everything for without any expectations 😢Saviour of many innocent peoples life💗💗💗
yo in all seriousness what anime is this?
