One major reason why foreigners fall sick after eating Street Food is because they eat each and every thing they see on a single day.Even we Indians don't do that. Try to take care about this fact.
One of the biggest mistakes would be not to mingle with the locals.. Lot of tourists just stick together in groups and don't interact with the locals or immerse themselves in the culture. I realize safety is a major concern in india, but the best part about visiting a new country is meeting new people and understanding the culture.
These were the few mistakes especially staying in cheapest hotel and then blaming the country is what I have observed with other vloggers. Many thanks for highlighting them!!!
@@IvanaPerkovicOfficial if you are still in Bangalore then do visit Hyderabad (rich in food and culture and historic place) would be happy to assist you ☺️
8:10 some people actually make this mistake and later complaint about it, yes you should never compromise with your accommodation or safety, thanks for mentioning this 😞
I mean okay but is it really normal to call that a mistake of the traveller? People want to book cheaper hotels for a reason, they don't expect luxury, neither do they require it but it's not normal it means it comes at the expanse of their safety. When you book the cheapest shit in other countries the only thing you're compensating is comfort, which is a choice of life.

Hi Ivan Ji, it brought tears in my heart to hear you speak of how little we need to be happy. Thank you for such a beautiful commentary on India. I'm in Malaysia and I love to get lost in South India. Keep the good work going.
One more point is to not get intimidated by the stares or selfies, most of the time it is just because you guys look so different that people get curious, it's mostly harmless unless you feel the "wrong" kind of stare, be careful then. And it's always safer for female travellers to travel in groups or with a friend. Have a great trip you guys. And use UBER or OLA, both are great.
Great video Ivana... When many foreigners complain about India, this is best video for don'ts.... Thumbs up... From an Indian living in Aussie.... Hope many people get to watch this before they plan their trip...
Hi. This is the first ever comment i am putting on youtube. Its a suggestion actually. If you still haven't experienced the 1st class travel by train (1st A/C compartment) then you should do it in any Rajdhani Express trains because the cabins in the bogie are much more luxurious and it will help you make a good video out of it. Rajdhani Express Trains Are the premium trains which connects the National Capital (New Delhi) to all the state capitals in India.
Yes!! As you said about Travelling in a luxurious trains is in your bucket list. Then i would recommend you to opt for Maharaja Express a world class luxurious train making you a journey of various important cities known for its heritage like: Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Sawai Madhopur(Ranthambore Tiger National Park), Agra, Gwalior, and Khajuraho. I would also recommend you to visit A central india tour to Khajuraho and Orcha(Known for its temples, fort, package of experiences village life in India, as well as Luxurious hotels like Amar Mahal) Jhansi is closest city to reach Orcha and Khajuraho. Thanks
