Going for on field Baizhu even with he doing negative damage, waited too long to not see him every time 🤙 Dang I got more prepared with his build and release than joining university lol. Jokes aside, he's really solid and I believe soon anough people will start valuing him like it was with past Inazuma characters. I pre-farmed every talents and dops to go lvl 90 talents 9/9/9, unfortunately a C0 hyperbloom driver (saving for finishing C6 another unit already released lol), and can't wait to submerge in his lore.
The problem with his damage buff is it only applies to characters who are healed by his burst, which only applies to the on-field character, (and last 6 seconds after) which makes it very difficult for off-field characters like Kuki to constantly keep the buff.
I play on-field hyperbloom Raiden and that team was amazing in the first place, but with Baizhu it will be broken. That 6 sec buff reminds me of Sara's 6 sec buff, so I'm slightly suspicious they had Raiden in mind.
My fav part about Baizhu is that I’m able to run aggravate one side and spread the other in abyss, also makes Cyno Fischl Kazuha in aggravate an actual usable team where you don’t need to worry about dying or swirling electro
@@terelext I think Fontaine is mostly about continuous draining of HP, or else all these healers are useless over better shielders like Zhongli and diona.
@@terelext The main thing the shield provides is resistance to interruption, even paper thin shields give infinite poise. It’s not meant to function like a typical shield. But yes definitely skippable since yaoyao exists.
@@terelext It’s players like you that are too one dimensionally minded and start comparing his healing to Kokomi, his dendro application to Nahida, his shield to Zhongli, etc. He’s a well rounded support that rewards you for breaking his shield especially in super bloom comps where you actually want to take periodic damage. Baizhu is not a must pull, no one is, but don’t assume a character is trash just because you can’t hit E and stop using your brain.
I wasn't originally hyped for him but then I started playing Tighnari again and realized he'd fit the team perfectly. Thankfully I won my 50/50 and got him. Gonna spend the next couple weeks building him but he'll be a good fit and allows me to take Kuki out and slot in Yae Miko for that triple Dendro team you mentioned
I'm interested in pulling for Baizhu from a gameplay perspective, but I might wait till reviewers do it. He's interesting to me as he is a shielder and a healer as well. Not many characters are like that besides Diona, Noelle, and C4 Yanfei with Prototype Amber. Also, you said that Baizhu is like a dendro Zhongli. But I feel like Baizhu is more comparable to the characters I've mentioned above. Although to be fair both are 5 stars.
With AOE and range (NA) aside, he feels complete and balanced. If you think that Yaoyao's ult is messing up your rotations, you will find Baizhu as a better pick. They both heal incredibly well but with the stagger resistance and less on field time, Yaoyao feels inferior to him.

Since other buffers like Bennett or Kazuha are in high demand in other teams, Baizhu and Nahida together can amp up your DPS's reaction damage too! This is most precious for Cyno, Alhaitham, Keqing, or even Hyperbloom carries.

man. Not at all. Think about it. Nilou bloom team already does 40k+ (~44k) per seed. What is another 3k? Baizhu only gives 100% reaction dmg. It's just that times 3k. Nilou for example gives 400%.x 3k from her HP alone. That's not the only problem. Who is going to apply your Deepwood 4pc if you bring Baizhu? Baizhu himself? First, good luck grinding your full HP mainstat + substat Deepwood set. Cuz you will need it. Next, what if you need to apply Deepwood 4pc AOE at some distance? Nahida is off-field. So if you need her to apply Deepwood 4pc, first, good luck with grinding for full EM Deepwood set, and next, she now has to be swap on all the time. I genuinely want to know where does Baizhu bring a significant buff without also bringing even more significant downsides. And btw, that's why you should insulate yourself from RUclipsr hypes.

@@ecpgieicg In Nilou bloom the cores detonate so quickly that 3K extra per core adds up very quickly making a large damage difference. In regards to his Dendro application…you can also use Nahida in bloom? Nilou Barbara/Kokomi Baizhu Nahida is easily the best Nilou team now due to damage and survivability.
Dendro Zhongli, that a precise description, he gives much more to team surv and has access to many good reactions unlike Zhongli, so Baizhu is very good, with him you can use 2 hyperbloom teams now, with Kuki and Raiden.
As much as i do like having another way to survive in dendro teams, i wish he did something a little more unique, but he's still gonna be a valuable team member
I got Baizu within 1 min of arrival and ! I think he is very good with kokomi's donut weapon as well as bollide (driver)/ millelith(buffer)/ deepwood(shredding resistance ) set... or clam set...healing+ damage

I really like him so far. He's fun with Raiden hyperbloom, Alhaitham teams, he fits into Nilou great, makes you super tanky and helps keep the hydro from taking over the dendro aura, and he's fun with burgeon, that's the team I'm working on building now.
he is great with nahida... not only healing or shielding and elemental resonance, but his elemental buffing capability also makes him a great addition to Hyperbloom team. u can use zhongli in the different team now.
Except he can’t use Tenacity and isn’t Hydro which lowers his usefulness when paired with his slower application than Kokomi. He also doesn’t do damage, at least Kokomi can do damage with her Burst. Kokomi is useable in almost every team, Baizhu is gonna be extremely niche because he’ll mess up other reactions. You wouldn’t ever want to use him in a Hu Tao, Ayaka, or Geo team, for example. Kokomi isn’t the best option for Hu Tao or Geo teams, but she either helps Vapes for Hu Tao or provides healing and Tenacity/Clam for Geo teams. He’ll probably work for certain Dendro comps, but realistically he’s only going to be BIS for Cyno teams in my opinion. And even then he’s a side grade to Yao Yao.
Love his kit. They could have added some range on his NAs but he's purpose is to keep his team alive. The upside with him as the dendro healer of the team rather than Yao is that he doesn't need to be onfield that much because of how Yao's ult works. And for that, he's now my go-to healer when it comes to dendro teams. Love that he's finally here. 🎉
Diona isn't a great comparison because circle impact and the healing is only for onfield. The EM boost con though similarly boosts reaction dmg and bows have access to a good buffing weapon but it's 5 star. The big problem is nobody plays fridge so why use Diona LOL. Even if his application is slow, Baizhu being dendro is a HUUUUGGEEEE deal lol.
Yknow it's interesting, Everyone seems to love his kit but after using him in the test run i thought he was extremely underwhelming. Kaveh on the other hand was really fun to play. It was so satisfying to play him, really well designed character. But baizhu was just underwhelming. I tried lots of different things in the test run to make him work but I couldn't. His E skill always takes an awkward amount of time to actually heal you, his Q shields are WAY weaker than I ever imagined they'd be; they break immediately after casting. In a scenario where you're surrounded by enemies and getting bombarded with constant attacks, you're gonna have the burst active but the shield/ interruption resistance will be down basically all the time. The healing is the only true realistic use case for his burst but yao yao being the the great support she is and kokomi being incredibly useful for dendro teams, I don't see baizhu being especially useful anywhere.
Actually find abyss run with him more comfy vs the consecrated beasts cause the team heal is a lot and super quick with just e (14k per e to all party members) and off field healing on Q. He is also not limited to circle impact too. Kokomi needs to be on field to do the team heal , e circle impact and yaoyao too which takes time. He indeed has places a certain part.
Can we get an updated Ganyu video? I have had her c6 since her first run. Finally pulled for her signature weapon (R2). With all the other bows that have come out (thundering pulse, aqua simulcra) since your old video it would be nice to see if it's worth going for R5. In my tests so far I'm seeing much better dmg than skyward harp. Can't determine for Thundering.
Me too. I never even wanted the guy but after getting lucky while pulling for kaveh, I can see his value as a dendro zhongli, which is what dendro truly needs to not feel clunky.
for dendro reaction based character TTODS is bad unless it's cyno prototype ember gives lots of energy recharge extra team healing and extra hp also i wish you'd shown more of nilou team with baizhu since besides yaoyao and kok baizhu looks like a more fitting healer

I know burning is pretty bad but I have a friend who runs a burning klee comp with Klee and Nahida at c6 Zhongli and Kazuha and I play a lot of yoimiya myself. I wonder if his bloom buff will be nullified by him (with his hp build) stealing a couple blooms in a Nilou team. Kuki would also need to be played on field to actually see his buff. I feel like he might not be that much better than barbs in those teams. Otherwise he's good in a vacuum I guess. Cyno is the only character I can think of who would benefit from him substantially.

Andd Cyno can hyperbloom himself and with some good investment and teams he can easily get to 800-900em and 1000 + at high investment (300 em base + 250 nahida + 50 from dendro resonance + 50 more for aggravate and hyper bloom damage with Dendro resonance effect + 150 em from gilded dream 4pc effect + 100em from elegy if you have it + 40 from nahida signature weapon if you have it) . just with this Cyno doesn't need Kuki outside of her healing and baizhu provides a shield and heals every few seconds while providing interruption resistance and buffing aggaravate and Hyperbloom damage for Cyno . So he should more than make up for Kuki in this particular team of Cyno Yelan Nahida Baizhu.
@@kazuha6373 he provides interrupt resist every 2.5s which is, not great, and XQ already provides plenty, while Kiki offers plenty of healing, a solid chunk of dmg on her ult and electro resonance easing up the er requirements for the team as a whole - Baizhu's A4 only ends up being about 20% more which you could get just as easily from yaoyao with equivalent healing or as stated before from kuki damage

То есть даже на фоне бесплатного 4* лекаря Барбары и 4* Беннета, Бай Чжу лечит намного намного меньше. Его удел соревноваться в лечении с Дионой, Яо Яо или Куки. Другими 4* персонажами. Такое ощущение, что Михойо опять нас жёстко... обманули. Конечно, ему найдут применение. И, возможно, он даже будет где-то хорош, но уж как хилера можно было его сделать на уровне хотя бы Кокоми... Но не сделали. Какое-то разочарование...

Was hoping to see him compared to YaoYao, I love Baizhu, I wasn't sure if I wanted him but my friend forced me and I don't regret getting him, he's like Yae not the greatest character but very fun to play.
The only must pull for me are Neuv and Wrio. The rest are easy skip. Seeing that all archons from here on out are non-males, I can safely say hoyo can't bait me with their archon schtick lol. I only have Zhongli among the archons. I don't care about the others. Easily skipped them. (Venti doesn't look like a male)
will he synergize well with cyno? i'm planning on having cyno, baizhu, nahida, and xingqiu (since i don't have yelan), and i'm mainly concerned about the dendro application since his healing should be fine.
He's absolutely not needed if you have Nahida already, she both does actual damage compared to him, but also has AOE application of dendro which Baizhu absolutely fails at. You'd be better off putting Kuki/Yaoyao in that team and saving your primos.
Yes because in the ultimate he can apply some dendro, so you can keep on field with your cyno during his ult while still doing reactions, nahida has this problem with him, that you have to switch to her to re apply her skill so you lose your ult in this proccess, he also will heal you a lot. Hes not a 100% must for cyno i would say, but in therms of synergy they work really well together
@@Sam-up4ul You actually don't need aoe dendro application for hyperbloom since you can only deal damage with two seeds which you can generate reliably by single target dendro application.
Personally, I think he's a premium option that helps you free up nahida for another team. With him you can run that same team but replace nahida with dendro MC who imo works better with Cyno unless it's a boss fight since MC's burst applies dendro at a constant rate, allowing your cyno to have a chance to get aggravates off on the next wave of enemies. Between MC and Baizhu you might get enough constant off field dendro that Cyno can just go off with reactions like he was meant to. All that said, if you want to save for *insert future character*, do it.
I was just pulling for kaveh but got him in first 10 pulls XDD I think with him, I can finally use 2 dendro teams in abyss since he can replace nahida in one of the teams I use (hyperbloom + nilou bloom)
so what about using him with a unique bloom team. so i have the following c6 as i will spend if i like the char alot. i have itto(dont matter here) then i have nahida and alhaitam c6. nahida is versatile on many diff teams al is a lil more specific but i actually like him as my main dps in bloom over nahida. that being said i was using al kokomi nilou and yaoyao but was wondering how would nilou koko baizhu and al or nahida work??

Good since off field hyperbloom triggers do not need more buffs. This creates a niche for on field electro units.

Once you've used him, you will feel the zhongli effect of his shield, except you're in dendro teams.

man. Not at all. Think about it. Nilou bloom team already does 40k+ (~44k) per seed. What is another 3k? Baizhu only gives 100% reaction dmg. It's just that times 3k. Nilou for example gives 400%.x 3k from her HP alone.
That's not the only problem. Who is going to apply your Deepwood 4pc if you bring Baizhu? Baizhu himself? First, good luck grinding your full HP mainstat + substat Deepwood set. Cuz you will need it. Next, what if you need to apply Deepwood 4pc AOE at some distance? Nahida is off-field. So if you need her to apply Deepwood 4pc, first, good luck with grinding for full EM Deepwood set, and next, she now has to be swap on all the time.
I genuinely want to know where does Baizhu bring a significant buff without also bringing even more significant downsides.
And btw, that's why you should insulate yourself from RUclipsr hypes.
And, btw, 44k is with a non-EM weapon. Just to make the perspective clear. 3k is peanuts.
@@ecpgieicg I feel like he'd be more valuable (from a survivability standpoint) if yaoyao didn't already exist. though leaks are saying the hydro archon will offer huge buffs at the cost of draining our own team's health, so maybe eventually we'll appreciate baizhu's massive team-wide heals. but he definitely feels like a redundant character at the moment

@@ecpgieicg In Nilou bloom the cores detonate so quickly that 3K extra per core adds up very quickly making a large damage difference. In regards to his Dendro application…you can also use Nahida in bloom? Nilou Barbara/Kokomi Baizhu Nahida is easily the best Nilou team now due to damage and survivability.
Dendro Zhongli, that a precise description, he gives much more to team surv and has access to many good reactions unlike Zhongli, so Baizhu is very good, with him you can use 2 hyperbloom teams now, with Kuki and Raiden.
Yes, he is everything Raiden needed for hyperbloom.

I got Baizu within 1 min of arrival and ! I think he is very good with kokomi's donut weapon as well as bollide (driver)/ millelith(buffer)/ deepwood(shredding resistance ) set... or clam set...healing+ damage

I really like him so far. He's fun with Raiden hyperbloom, Alhaitham teams, he fits into Nilou great, makes you super tanky and helps keep the hydro from taking over the dendro aura, and he's fun with burgeon, that's the team I'm working on building now.
By far the best dad jokes of any genshin content creator. There is a good reason why Iwin is my go to.

he is great with nahida... not only healing or shielding and elemental resonance, but his elemental buffing capability also makes him a great addition to Hyperbloom team. u can use zhongli in the different team now.
Hell, you can create 2 hyperbloom team now
1. Nahida, xingqiu, kuki, any hydro/electro/dendro
2. Baizu, raiden, yelan, any hydro/electro/dendro

Except he can’t use Tenacity and isn’t Hydro which lowers his usefulness when paired with his slower application than Kokomi. He also doesn’t do damage, at least Kokomi can do damage with her Burst. Kokomi is useable in almost every team, Baizhu is gonna be extremely niche because he’ll mess up other reactions. You wouldn’t ever want to use him in a Hu Tao, Ayaka, or Geo team, for example. Kokomi isn’t the best option for Hu Tao or Geo teams, but she either helps Vapes for Hu Tao or provides healing and Tenacity/Clam for Geo teams.
He’ll probably work for certain Dendro comps, but realistically he’s only going to be BIS for Cyno teams in my opinion. And even then he’s a side grade to Yao Yao.
Hoyo released Baizhu for Neilou users to use their Neilou team. And there's some news about him being good for the Hydro archon, so there's that.
if you ever plan to do showdown in the future, try Raiden + Baizhu and Nahida + Hydro flex (probably Xingqiu) vs Cyno w/ the same teammates.

Love his kit. They could have added some range on his NAs but he's purpose is to keep his team alive. The upside with him as the dendro healer of the team rather than Yao is that he doesn't need to be onfield that much because of how Yao's ult works. And for that, he's now my go-to healer when it comes to dendro teams. Love that he's finally here. 🎉

Diona isn't a great comparison because circle impact and the healing is only for onfield. The EM boost con though similarly boosts reaction dmg and bows have access to a good buffing weapon but it's 5 star.
The big problem is nobody plays fridge so why use Diona LOL. Even if his application is slow, Baizhu being dendro is a HUUUUGGEEEE deal lol.

Everyone seems to love his kit but after using him in the test run i thought he was extremely underwhelming. Kaveh on the other hand was really fun to play. It was so satisfying to play him, really well designed character. But baizhu was just underwhelming. I tried lots of different things in the test run to make him work but I couldn't. His E skill always takes an awkward amount of time to actually heal you, his Q shields are WAY weaker than I ever imagined they'd be; they break immediately after casting. In a scenario where you're surrounded by enemies and getting bombarded with constant attacks, you're gonna have the burst active but the shield/ interruption resistance will be down basically all the time. The healing is the only true realistic use case for his burst but yao yao being the the great support she is and kokomi being incredibly useful for dendro teams, I don't see baizhu being especially useful anywhere.
Actually find abyss run with him more comfy vs the consecrated beasts cause the team heal is a lot and super quick with just e (14k per e to all party members) and off field healing on Q. He is also not limited to circle impact too. Kokomi needs to be on field to do the team heal , e circle impact and yaoyao too which takes time. He indeed has places a certain part.

With all the other bows that have come out (thundering pulse, aqua simulcra) since your old video it would be nice to see if it's worth going for R5. In my tests so far I'm seeing much better dmg than skyward harp. Can't determine for Thundering.

Hey a great video! I would love some info on Baizhu's burning potential! I know burning is pretty bad but I have a friend who runs a burning klee comp with Klee and Nahida at c6 Zhongli and Kazuha and I play a lot of yoimiya myself. Any data would be great! thanks for your helpful and insightful videos.
I wonder if his bloom buff will be nullified by him (with his hp build) stealing a couple blooms in a Nilou team. Kuki would also need to be played on field to actually see his buff. I feel like he might not be that much better than barbs in those teams. Otherwise he's good in a vacuum I guess.
Cyno is the only character I can think of who would benefit from him substantially.

Andd Cyno can hyperbloom himself and with some good investment and teams he can easily get to 800-900em and 1000 + at high investment (300 em base + 250 nahida + 50 from dendro resonance + 50 more for aggravate and hyper bloom damage with Dendro resonance effect + 150 em from gilded dream 4pc effect + 100em from elegy if you have it + 40 from nahida signature weapon if you have it) . just with this Cyno doesn't need Kuki outside of her healing and baizhu provides a shield and heals every few seconds while providing interruption resistance and buffing aggaravate and Hyperbloom damage for Cyno . So he should more than make up for Kuki in this particular team of Cyno Yelan Nahida Baizhu.
@@kazuha6373 he provides interrupt resist every 2.5s which is, not great, and XQ already provides plenty, while Kiki offers plenty of healing, a solid chunk of dmg on her ult and electro resonance easing up the er requirements for the team as a whole - Baizhu's A4 only ends up being about 20% more which you could get just as easily from yaoyao with equivalent healing or as stated before from kuki damage

I'm honestly torn as to whether I should pull for him. He seems to have a pretty solid kit but I don't want him to replace Yaoyao on my aggravate and Nilou bloom teams.

Если в этот момент она будет атаковать врагов, то подлечит себя и всех в команде на 23к*4.
Беннет за 10 сек даст 75к здоровья.
То есть даже на фоне бесплатного 4* лекаря Барбары и 4* Беннета, Бай Чжу лечит намного намного меньше.
Его удел соревноваться в лечении с Дионой, Яо Яо или Куки. Другими 4* персонажами.
Такое ощущение, что Михойо опять нас жёстко... обманули.
Конечно, ему найдут применение. И, возможно, он даже будет где-то хорош, но уж как хилера можно было его сделать на уровне хотя бы Кокоми... Но не сделали.

Was hoping to see him compared to YaoYao, I love Baizhu, I wasn't sure if I wanted him but my friend forced me and I don't regret getting him, he's like Yae not the greatest character but very fun to play.

Seeing that all archons from here on out are non-males, I can safely say hoyo can't bait me with their archon schtick lol. I only have Zhongli among the archons. I don't care about the others. Easily skipped them. (Venti doesn't look like a male)

will he synergize well with cyno? i'm planning on having cyno, baizhu, nahida, and xingqiu (since i don't have yelan), and i'm mainly concerned about the dendro application since his healing should be fine.
He's absolutely not needed if you have Nahida already, she both does actual damage compared to him, but also has AOE application of dendro which Baizhu absolutely fails at. You'd be better off putting Kuki/Yaoyao in that team and saving your primos.

Yes because in the ultimate he can apply some dendro, so you can keep on field with your cyno during his ult while still doing reactions, nahida has this problem with him, that you have to switch to her to re apply her skill so you lose your ult in this proccess, he also will heal you a lot. Hes not a 100% must for cyno i would say, but in therms of synergy they work really well together
@@Sam-up4ul You actually don't need aoe dendro application for hyperbloom since you can only deal damage with two seeds which you can generate reliably by single target dendro application.
Personally, I think he's a premium option that helps you free up nahida for another team. With him you can run that same team but replace nahida with dendro MC who imo works better with Cyno unless it's a boss fight since MC's burst applies dendro at a constant rate, allowing your cyno to have a chance to get aggravates off on the next wave of enemies. Between MC and Baizhu you might get enough constant off field dendro that Cyno can just go off with reactions like he was meant to.
All that said, if you want to save for *insert future character*, do it.

so what about using him with a unique bloom team. so i have the following c6 as i will spend if i like the char alot. i have itto(dont matter here) then i have nahida and alhaitam c6. nahida is versatile on many diff teams al is a lil more specific but i actually like him as my main dps in bloom over nahida. that being said i was using al kokomi nilou and yaoyao but was wondering how would nilou koko baizhu and al or nahida work??
