Even in teams that don't use a pyro/electro/cryo/hydro dps, kazuha (and other groupers) can still be useful just due to the fact that CC can be broken (this is especially noticeable with venti's tornado being incredibly useful if the enemies can get CC'd by it)
To be honest, I'm surprised by how well the Fontaine characters kits are, they feel either powerful, useful or/and fun to play. I still remember the state of 4 and 5 stars characters released during Sumeru time with Candice, Doris, Dehya, Faruzan, Layla, Kaveh, Collei, Cyno coming with either incomplete kit, lacking in dmg, or constantly got overshadowed by other characters. But It's truly feel like a French revolution for playable characters in Fontaine, they are all fun to play with reasonable dmg or utility.
Some Sumeru 4 stars are hard carried by dendro reactions, specifically Dori, Candace, Kaveh, and Collei, while Faruzan have issues before C6. The comment at 7 minutes CANNOT be understated of how fantastic Chevreuse is. When built correctly, she deals really good damage, herself, but she heals, provides the VV buff, an attack buff, energy at C1, more healing at C4 (since she can shoot her gun twice basically), and 60 percent elemental damage boost at C6. That's absurdly good for a 4 star. The reason this is so good, is because she basically frees up Kazuha for whatever team you'd like. You can provide a Yae Yoimiya Sara Chev team on one side, and a Kazuha based team like vape, melt, hydro with Neuvi, etc... on side 2. I think that she's meta not because she's broken in the traditional sense, but because she's going to force a paradigm shift in how we view overload. She's that good.
Overload has always been my favorite reaction, it's literally an explosion and interrupts/ knocks back nearly everybody. That "WOW" after the low damage 😂. It seems like ever since Neuvillete came out Mihoyo has raised the bar on Fontaines characters, they really are something else.

My guess is that Natlan will shake things up and she’ll be really good during that time with the pyro archon but yes I’m sure clorinde and arle are focused around overload or something of that sort
tbh, duo pyro + duo electro has always been pretty strong (e.g. try benny/xl/fischl/EM Lisa), but it's seldom used because of its horrid grouping and opportunity cost. I hope chev can decrease the opportunity cost enough for them to not be completely forgotten, but let's wait and see.
I play *Yoimiya / Benny / Beidou / Fischl* as my overload team. Chevreuse seems good, but I just don't know who I would swap out in this team. Beidou is very strong and enables the team to be played in AOE content. Also provides Shield + Dmg Reduction. So I would probably have to swap out Benny or Fischl. Reasonning?: Overload pushes enemies away, and Benny forces *Circle Impact* which isn't ideal, even with Yoimiya as a ranged DPS unit. Chevreuse also provides similar buffs to Bennett like Atk buffing and healing (which could be redundant). Fischl is great too for energy and deals a lot of dmg, but she is mostly single target. I think either *Yoi / Chevreuse / Beidou / Fischl* or *Yoi / Chevreuse / Beidou / Benny* could be nice.
She's great even with less grouping than kazuha. Recommend trying it out on local legends. The overload is particularly helpful for supercomputing field generator since overload destroys geo shields and that darn machine has one tough shell that spamming plunge attacks are mainly the recommended way. It's also helpful for stunlocking the more susceptible local legends like Liam, Rocky, Yseut, and the other Fatui local legend. Liam and Rocky get stunlocked out of a majority of their moves, only able to use their signature attacks. They don't get moved around too much. Rocky is far more immovable than Liam while Liam has chance to be flung and juggled. Yseut can be perma-juggled. I juggled the guy with Dehya overload for a minute straight. It couldn't do a move until I fumbled the rotation. The other fatui local legend can also be juggled. They fly so high, especially in rainy weather combined with overload. So, my thoughts are that overloaded is becoming more handy now. FOntaine has less susceptible enemies to extreme overload knockback, more heavy hitting enemies, more medium and heavy weight enemies, and also more immovable enemies like the Xiangling mek that ballerinas at you.
She's worse than Kazuha. Because in an optimal hyper raiden rotation, you want to use Che first. By the time you swap to Raiden, the buff is already almost gone. Kazuha however, constantly reapplies his buffs via swirling. For C6 Che, you get more dmg on Raiden's initial slash but lose out on total dmg per rotation.
I'm surprised that she is that great at c0, normally 4 star characters are lacking something on their kits and need constellations to be "complete" so I'm happy how she is at c0 😊
It's sad that people start thinking "4 stars at c0 are incomplete as normal", forgot how OG 4 stars (bennet, xiangling, xingqiu, sucrose, stc) are actually already a superb at c0
Requiring a sub optimal reaction for buffs on par with most of the better buffers is not a bad trade, and with option of just using a ranged unit or only against bosses or other non staggered enemies the downside has ways to mitigate, this should be the power level of most four stars imo
So Chevy + Cookie (with TOTM) is a very easy to manage constant upwards of 50% Atk Buff with a 40% Pyro/Electro res shred with somewhere in the ball park of 6k on demand healing between both of them. Completely off field outside of just activating their skills. If you start figuring Chevy’s C6 you can also have a total buff of 60% Pyro/Electro damage but realistically on average it would be 40%.
Those buffs are nice indeed, though I think swapping Cookie out for an actual off-field Dmg dealer (Fischl? Beidou? Xiangling?) would be more beneficial to the team.
if you play raiden, sara, xiangling and chevreuse then your hyper raiden team will be able to permanently proc overloaded. also your xiangling energy need will be significantly lower since chevreuse can use fav lance

Now that I think about it, you don't even need her crit rate to be good in order to activate favonius, since she can use her musket to aim for a weak point and get a guaranteed crit! Not a kuki situation, kuki was kinda trash when she was released, while chevreuse is already good at release. But yes, definitely possible that she gets even better
I don't really like people saying x character will have a Kuki situation when Kuki literally had an entire elemental reaction to prop her up. Plus, Cheveruse is already good at her niche so she isn't entirely a Kuki like character at release.
@@ThisLuvee It's more a Yae Miko situation. Even without an entire elemental reaction, Chevreuse just needs a bigger roster and ways to accomodate for overload knockback to be more fitting. Take a pyro/electro Rosaria for example. Rosaria blinks behind enemies, even a far distance, and without consumption of stamina. That would make for a really good baseline for an overload dps since they can counter the knockback of overloaded. Another could be a character that does consecutive explosions on overloaded, so like Nahida's Trikarma purification but with overloaded, and overloading causes them to fly back to you.

Crazy how the main focus of the banners isn't even the literal electro Archon and one of the best single-target Pyro dps in the game but a 4 star. That 40% res shred was insane on my Yanfei and Keqing in the current abyss. One of the few times I had fun building a team because of how many Pyro and Electro units there are and how the Chevster can just exist in a team for that damage increase

My plan is to pick up Lyney on his eventual rerun, and then run him, Chevruse, another pyro (undecided) and Raiden. Raiden's slow electro application should allow Lyney to trigger overload while also still being able to snipe pyro auras

I was thinking about playing her with Yoimiya too, but I like Beidou for Shield and AOE situations. My Yoimiya overload team was *Yoimiya / Bennett / Beidou / Fischl* I want to swap Chevreuse in, but I'm just not sure who would be best to replace. (Fischl does a lot of dmg especially with the new Golden Troupe set, Beidou provides protection and damage reduction + enables AOE content, Benny for Heals and Buff.)
Apparently her c6 allows the boosted attack buff to be applied to all teammates no matter what element they are making it so she doesn’t need to only have pryo and electric characters on the team in other to apply buff.
The attack % bonus from her main kit is applied to the whole team regardless of the elements on the team and regardless of how many cons you have. The damage bonus from her C6 is, as it says, pyro and electro only. Off element characters can make use of this if they have elemental infusions (like Bennet C6 or Lynnette's ult) or swirl reactions. If this damage bonus is what you're referring to than yes, you're right. The only part of her kit that requires the team to be of pyro and electro characters only is the resistance shred after causing an overload reaction. Her C6 does NOT change this and that's the main part that makes her kit so strong. So you still need to run her in an overload only team if you want to utilize her main strength.
Hyper Raiden is Ei/Sara/Xiangling/Chev. Sara and Chev already have tons of atk buffs, making bennett's atk buff less effective. It's a dps loses for raiden, but you gain it back with xiangling off-field dmg and 100% uptime res shred plus no self vape, circle impact, etc...
One thing is that u can actually replace two units with chevreuse that is Bennet and Kazuha, u can substitute Bennett with Sara since sara buffs 80% of Bennett does and the remaining bit of 20% attack chevreuse can give through her passive. Finally with c6 of bith sara and chevreuse u need no ither buffer in the team so u can run a pyro enabler like xiangling with electro driver like Raiden
Yeah I think the main downside of simply swapping Kazuha with Chevreuse is that there is no more consistent Pyro application on the team, which means no more Overload reactions at all. I think like you: If you play Chevreuse on the Raiden hyper team, you should swap Benny out for Xiangling.
@@ElTestok Genshin's core gameplay is the reactions after all u should be doing some reactions all the time even if the DMG is negligible it counts towards the end. So an enabler is a must, that's why I rather like to play characters that can do DMG or heals off field.
Tbh with ya'll, what do you guys think they cook for Clorinde or Arlecchino since Chev have released, does Clorinde will be your typical aggravate DPS or something more revolutionary, or Arlecchino to be stronger than OPPA Xiangling or Walnut, so excited.
I believe Clorinde will be overload dps and Arlecchino may be cooked up for Natlan meta theme. I think Clorinde would have HP manipulation and it can play out where Clorinde will lose HP for a period of time but while doing so, overloaded causes a secondary explosion that pushes enemies back to her, and Clorinde would heal with a Charged attack. Either they are both overloaded dps or Clorinde is at least overload dps. Arlecchino may be more fit for burning, melt, or utilize a different mechanic such as damage taken just like Dehya
Yanfei, EM Raiden, Chevreuse and Fischl are a really fun exploration team. Yanfei's range really mitigates Overload's launching. Super fun in the overworld. Enemies don't get to do anything and juggling them in the air is really fun.
Overloaded has always been a viable reaction in terms of damage, however it’s usually only used when the enemy doesn’t get staggered like bosses.. Sadly she is a 4* so she will not fix that, so this DMG buff is amazing especially if against bosses for electro and Pyro
kinda likinv the direction that Hoyo is going with new charas. Instead of buffing the reaction damage, new chara's kits diversify the reaction's use by giving buffs and new playstyles like in Navia's case. kinda looking forward to how hoyo revamps superconduct teams come the Snezhnaya arx
I would like to add that the fontaine craftable, rightful reward is absoloutely insane for her. I have r2 cause i have no ores and she can self sustain in raiden comps and burst off cooldown. At around r3-4 im pretty sure she will never need er

i have her c6, i’m running team with with raiden c2, furina, c6 chevy, and jean on vv! i’m excited. and since i’m not running her with an all electro/pyro team because of futuna’s additional buffs for raiden, i put jean on vv for res shred so i’m excited to see raiden’s dmg now with 40% additional electro dmg bonus, 40% atk bonus, 40% res shred, and futuna’s dmg buff! and i also got raiden c2 so she’s gonna be more accurate now for sure hahaha

FOntaine has less susceptible enemies to extreme overload knockback, more heavy hitting enemies, more medium and heavy weight enemies, and also more immovable enemies like the Xiangling mek that ballerinas at you.

Perfecly manageble weaknesses since she shines where Kazuha's grouping is weak or innefective + Raiden's ultimate lasts for 7s only.
She's worse than Kazuha. Because in an optimal hyper raiden rotation, you want to use Che first. By the time you swap to Raiden, the buff is already almost gone. Kazuha however, constantly reapplies his buffs via swirling. For C6 Che, you get more dmg on Raiden's initial slash but lose out on total dmg per rotation.

I'm surprised that she is that great at c0, normally 4 star characters are lacking something on their kits and need constellations to be "complete" so I'm happy how she is at c0 😊

Requiring a sub optimal reaction for buffs on par with most of the better buffers is not a bad trade, and with option of just using a ranged unit or only against bosses or other non staggered enemies the downside has ways to mitigate, this should be the power level of most four stars imo

So Chevy + Cookie (with TOTM) is a very easy to manage constant upwards of 50% Atk Buff with a 40% Pyro/Electro res shred with somewhere in the ball park of 6k on demand healing between both of them.
Completely off field outside of just activating their skills.
If you start figuring Chevy’s C6 you can also have a total buff of 60% Pyro/Electro damage but realistically on average it would be 40%.
Those buffs are nice indeed, though I think swapping Cookie out for an actual off-field Dmg dealer (Fischl? Beidou? Xiangling?) would be more beneficial to the team.

if you play raiden, sara, xiangling and chevreuse then your hyper raiden team will be able to permanently proc overloaded. also your xiangling energy need will be significantly lower since chevreuse can use fav lance

Now that I think about it, you don't even need her crit rate to be good in order to activate favonius, since she can use her musket to aim for a weak point and get a guaranteed crit! Albeit works only on PC but still! Im pretty sure she can do that since Mika has similar thing going on due to his crossbow

Not a kuki situation, kuki was kinda trash when she was released, while chevreuse is already good at release. But yes, definitely possible that she gets even better
I don't really like people saying x character will have a Kuki situation when Kuki literally had an entire elemental reaction to prop her up.
Plus, Cheveruse is already good at her niche so she isn't entirely a Kuki like character at release.
@@ThisLuvee It's more a Yae Miko situation. Even without an entire elemental reaction, Chevreuse just needs a bigger roster and ways to accomodate for overload knockback to be more fitting. Take a pyro/electro Rosaria for example. Rosaria blinks behind enemies, even a far distance, and without consumption of stamina. That would make for a really good baseline for an overload dps since they can counter the knockback of overloaded.
Another could be a character that does consecutive explosions on overloaded, so like Nahida's Trikarma purification but with overloaded, and overloading causes them to fly back to you.

I guess she might also be one of the best support for Lyney, bc he doesn`t need vape due to his passive and benefits from mono pyro, so can be played with 3 pyro and one electro for Chevrues passive. Im not so sure tho, as I don`t have Lyney, but as far as I remeber his kit, it might work.
I don't see why it wouldn't work but it lacks any defence (No shielder or room for Dehya) so I doubt it will be better than his current teams.

Crazy how the main focus of the banners isn't even the literal electro Archon and one of the best single-target Pyro dps in the game but a 4 star. That 40% res shred was insane on my Yanfei and Keqing in the current abyss. One of the few times I had fun building a team because of how many Pyro and Electro units there are and how the Chevster can just exist in a team for that damage increase

-Amber saying get off our lawn when we first met her
-Xinyan with her iconic southern accent
-Xangling who will cook anything that crawls out of a ditch with lots of spice
-Chevreuse's love of guns and fried foods
-Klee and Yoymia's shared love for explosions
-Lyney is a famous self-made street performer
-Diluc is just fantasy Batman
-Hu Tao is an overzealous sales person

My plan is to pick up Lyney on his eventual rerun, and then run him, Chevruse, another pyro (undecided) and Raiden. Raiden's slow electro application should allow Lyney to trigger overload while also still being able to snipe pyro auras

(Fischl does a lot of dmg especially with the new Golden Troupe set, Beidou provides protection and damage reduction + enables AOE content, Benny for Heals and Buff.)

Apparently her c6 allows the boosted attack buff to be applied to all teammates no matter what element they are making it so she doesn’t need to only have pryo and electric characters on the team in other to apply buff.

The attack % bonus from her main kit is applied to the whole team regardless of the elements on the team and regardless of how many cons you have. The damage bonus from her C6 is, as it says, pyro and electro only. Off element characters can make use of this if they have elemental infusions (like Bennet C6 or Lynnette's ult) or swirl reactions. If this damage bonus is what you're referring to than yes, you're right.
The only part of her kit that requires the team to be of pyro and electro characters only is the resistance shred after causing an overload reaction. Her C6 does NOT change this and that's the main part that makes her kit so strong. So you still need to run her in an overload only team if you want to utilize her main strength.
Hyper Raiden is Ei/Sara/Xiangling/Chev. Sara and Chev already have tons of atk buffs, making bennett's atk buff less effective. It's a dps loses for raiden, but you gain it back with xiangling off-field dmg and 100% uptime res shred plus no self vape, circle impact, etc...
i always use overload in my yoimiya team comp.
Yoimiya+Yelan+Raiden+Zhongli.
I use this one.. good boss shredder. The only cons is it lacks Aoe damage

I'm thinking something like *Yoimiya + Chevreuse + Beidou + Fischl/Benny*
One thing is that u can actually replace two units with chevreuse that is Bennet and Kazuha, u can substitute Bennett with Sara since sara buffs 80% of Bennett does and the remaining bit of 20% attack chevreuse can give through her passive.
Finally with c6 of bith sara and chevreuse u need no ither buffer in the team so u can run a pyro enabler like xiangling with electro driver like Raiden
Yeah I think the main downside of simply swapping Kazuha with Chevreuse is that there is no more consistent Pyro application on the team, which means no more Overload reactions at all.
I think like you: If you play Chevreuse on the Raiden hyper team, you should swap Benny out for Xiangling.

So an enabler is a must, that's why I rather like to play characters that can do DMG or heals off field.
Tbh with ya'll, what do you guys think they cook for Clorinde or Arlecchino since Chev have released, does Clorinde will be your typical aggravate DPS or something more revolutionary, or Arlecchino to be stronger than OPPA Xiangling or Walnut, so excited.

I believe Clorinde will be overload dps and Arlecchino may be cooked up for Natlan meta theme. I think Clorinde would have HP manipulation and it can play out where Clorinde will lose HP for a period of time but while doing so, overloaded causes a secondary explosion that pushes enemies back to her, and Clorinde would heal with a Charged attack.
Either they are both overloaded dps or Clorinde is at least overload dps. Arlecchino may be more fit for burning, melt, or utilize a different mechanic such as damage taken just like Dehya
Yanfei, EM Raiden, Chevreuse and Fischl are a really fun exploration team. Yanfei's range really mitigates Overload's launching. Super fun in the overworld. Enemies don't get to do anything and juggling them in the air is really fun.
Overloaded has always been a viable reaction in terms of damage, however it’s usually only used when the enemy doesn’t get staggered like bosses.. Sadly she is a 4* so she will not fix that, so this DMG buff is amazing especially if against bosses for electro and Pyro

kinda likinv the direction that Hoyo is going with new charas. Instead of buffing the reaction damage, new chara's kits diversify the reaction's use by giving buffs and new playstyles like in Navia's case. kinda looking forward to how hoyo revamps superconduct teams come the Snezhnaya arx

i have her c6, i’m running team with with raiden c2, furina, c6 chevy, and jean on vv! i’m excited. and since i’m not running her with an all electro/pyro team because of futuna’s additional buffs for raiden, i put jean on vv for res shred so i’m excited to see raiden’s dmg now with 40% additional electro dmg bonus, 40% atk bonus, 40% res shred, and futuna’s dmg buff! and i also got raiden c2 so she’s gonna be more accurate now for sure hahaha
