The President of the Spina Di Rosula, Navia, has arrived in Genshin Impact version 4.3. She is the first Geo character we've had in awhile and she is an incredible DPS character. In this video, I go over what I think about a constellation 0 Navia, using the free to play friendly 4 star claymore, the Tidal Shadow.

True! I got her just recently and paired her up with ningguang for more crystal shards, damn my hits were going 500-800k with her elemental skill
Same dmg level like T1 dps character: Xiao Eula Itto... feel so fun and flexible to use. MihoYo did great with her kit

it's not really the first of its kind (Splatoon's Splat-brella and especially anything James Band-related), but it's definitely one of the coolest and most interesting weapon ideas, and the execution here was awesome

This kind of all-rounder flexible character is my go-to when i play any rpg. Wields melee weapon with great raw damage, have some sort of ranged attacks, and can create shields in one kit. The one thats missing is healing but it would be too OP and i can still manage without it.

You need heals - use Noelle, I think everyone already has her at C6. Bonus points for Geo resonance.

yeah the designs kit and damage potential in fontaine characters are unmatched compared to other characters i hope they'll continue like this on natlan too
Talking about constellations. I find funny that other characters have things like "when character is above 50% hp and has 3 stacks of whatever, your skill has a 34.7% chance of turning into a completely different skill that does 5 times more damage". But Navia's constellations are just "Have some energy, Crit chance and a shitton of Crit dmg"

She is the only Geo after a while who is fun to play and can work in many teams. She didn't fix Geo but she is a good character

What are you talking about, last Geo character was realised in January 2022 we waited almost 2 years.
@@agadexis Yes she can. she scales with ATK, generate a LOT of particles, deals big dmg with small field time (great for quickswap) and only needs crystallize to happen. so she can be:
- in Quickswap teams with flexible field time DPS characters (like Neuvillette, Raiden, Diluc, C6 Noelle...)
- a Sub-DPS/battery/shielder and enabler for many carries (with archaic petra, cause she attracts shards when on hold skill)
- A flexible carry herself with sub DPSes and buffers (like XQ, Bennet, Yelan, Furina, Rosaria, Albedo...)

Navia is probably one of the most complete characters. I can't think of a single thing to complain about her kit. It's like the devs put all of her QoL constellation into her c0

From what I know, Navia is the second Claymore using character that gives her blade a solid kick during her attack animation (first one was Beidou, ofc)
I'm pretty sure itto also kicks his claymore at one point in his na string

I also love the detail when she shoots with more crystal shrapnel you notice the recoil animation
With 0 - 2 shrapnel the gunbrella doesn't kick so much thus she handles it really well
With more than 3 she twirls due to the recoil before she reloads

Would nilou count as her playstyle is quite niche?
Superconduct may actually be leaning towards Clorinde being that character since Chevreuse the American character looks exactly like an overloaded reaction as a person. So the white and purple on Clorinde may be closely leaning to physical + electro, or cryo being represented as white and electro within her purple exterior.
I wanna see Clorinde being like Mona for physical, buffing damage dealt to enemies affected with superconduct so doubled debuffs.
Fun and engaging playstyle, high flexibility in both team building and rotations, and a geo character that actually interacts with other elements instead of being "yellow physical"
She has one of the best designed kits that hoyo has ever released.
Her geo normal attacks are surprisingly strong!

I was saving for Raiden but I immediately fell in love with her during the trial. I hadn't had as much fun with a character since well ever to be honest. She immediately exceeded all my expectations. Guess Ill have to wait another year for Raiden XD
Navia's passive talent doesn't specify that It has to be two different elements, so she works with pyro resonance
I think what makes her broken is her elemental skill can charge 2 times and you can save the stack for 300s. If her stack dissapear after 8s it will be so bad
That doesn't make her broken. It makes her....functional, yeah if course if u take a vital component of any character and fuck it up, they would become much more dysfunctional. But they don't suddenly become broken because of the mechanic being normal. Wtf u on about?

Well I think you meant functional rather than broken because if the shards had a low cd she would not function as a crystallize using character.

I got 2 other games that want my money so I’ll get her on her rerun. I’m currently saving my gems to get Furinas sword on her rerun.
Same, dehya had so much attention on her in story same as navia, but feel like what happened to nilou is just an improved version of what happened to navia. Navia isn’t as restricted on her kit as nilou is and honestly neither one of them would’ve expected being dps characters
Dude, Furina's weapon really ain't all that, she has good alternatives. I don't see why you would wanna pull for it... Save your money for something else
@@smanitagorolebglawal309 I want her weapon for style. I was planning on not pulling for anything and just save my gems just for her weapon so that i wouldn’t have to spend money. I think I’m done pulling for characters on this game honestly. Unless a character has specific qualities that really appeals to me, then maybe I’ll pull for them, but I’m satisfied with what I got and I really don’t feel like building a new character. I don’t have a geo team so I do kinda need a geo character tho.
I love her design and personality and her kit is also great. Definitely a game changer.
Watched a lot of vids since I got her yesterday and yours is by far the best clean, clear, simple run through of her entire kit and how to build and pair her to maximize her freakishly huge damage. Thanks very much for your great work on this.
Navia using crystallize as her bullets makes think about a Nilou style character that turns Crystallize reactions into Ningguang esque projectiles and basically allows geo to either 1.) finally use Archaic Petra because they can use the dmg bonus on the element of the crystal or 2.) Make actual use of the EM stat.
Her gameplay feels so unique and interactive.That's why i'm gonna pull for her despite initially planning to get Cloud retainer, now I hope I get both lol.

That thing that also makes her good is that since shes so focused on quick swap you wont really use her normals that much (which a lot of people don't like) and just keep quick swapping dealing insane damage

I have to disagree cuz she can perform as on-field and quickswap very well. Just use her Burst>Skill>NA>Skill>NA then swap to your sub dps and buffers if you plan her as on field. She's very flexible.

I mean, they are limited. Every good hydro is basically a very op sup dps. When not they are the main dps. And the rest is healer (who needs a healer in a geo comp)
I was scared I wouldn't get her since I was on 50/50 but somehow I ended up both winning it and getting a second copy 2 pulls later. It's the luckiest I've ever been in this game by far. Now I'm praying I get her weapon too, but I almost certainly won't have enough.
Finally someone else covered tenacity Kuki with Navia, the team I've farmed for her is Fischl, Geo traveller with noblesse and Kuki with tenacity so I can on field Navia as much as possible. I don't want to build Bennet and Xiangling from scratch, I was surprised no one mentioned the electro options she has. I mean something like Navia, Yae, Fischl, Zhongli would surely work too.

It's been 2 years since last geo release?! I'm quite surprised by her damage honestly. She has also allowed the team composition not being limited only to geo. I'm thinking of pairing her with bennett, c6 gorou, and other reliable off field damage dealer, maybe Furina. Great video! I might pull for her since I got all geo characters 😄
Gorou is, well, Navia won't be able to take everything he has to offer combat wise... But yeah you don't really have much better 4* options.
@@tsuwu5260 yeah. I was thinking of gorou's ability to pull elemental shards. But having checked his e skills just now, he needs 3 geo characters to activate geo damage bonus and the full c6 buff. Might as well replace him with other units, sadly.

I had a lot of doubts because of her short infusion and the trouble of picking up crystals. But her gameplay is very comfy and straightforward and the Skill duration allows for 3 back to back infusions if you want to stay onfield. Just tried her with Woofs Gravestone and she destroys. Can't wait to max her axe and 3 crown her.
As much as i like Navia, nothing can stop me from pulling mitsplitter reforged. Hope y'all win 50/50s

Man I would love to see a dps showdown between Navia, Itto, Albedo. Battle of the Geo’s. Or even like how she would stack against the current top dps, with her maximum potential unlocked would be lit. First we had Ayato powercreep now Eula powercreep.
She's basically EULA but geo and does big numbers in skill instead in Burst. That too by building stacks that are way more easier to get.
I have to admit, I wasn't planning on pulling her and I probably still won't for now, but I definitely will some time in the future after I finished pulling for constellations on my favorite characters. Her character has grown on me quite a bit during the archon quest and her playstyle is way more fun than I initially thought it would be.
I am glad she isn't clunky to plan. As opposed to my current opinion on Xinanyu (Cloud Retainer) because she is apparently a plunge atk playstsle enabling anemo support.....now doesn't that scream "put me i to a Xiao tram and nowhere else" and as a avid Xiao hater since day 1 I hate that.
But you omit her being a healer with grouping potential, anemo for vv, catalyst for ttds, and enables any character to plunge (Diluc, Hutao, maybe Raiden, and probably more) with a single target buff to them, as well as high vertical movement for overworld exploration

How I was kind of worried first how much of a hustle it would be to get all those stacks /shards for her E to actually bet full stacked. But seeing they last for 300seconds made me very happy 🥳

She’s basically the only fun geo character I’ve played as 😂. I like zhongli and itto to an extent. But without staff of homa, chances of good damage with zhongli is slim. Itto has such niche team options, to where honestly that’s not even fun
When I first saw her at the Fontaine presentation video back in Sumeru, I knew I needed to get her

I didnt pull on any fontain characters (that I remember) because I was saving for her since I first saw her, and Im so freaking happy with how she came out

i wasnt initially gonna pull for her, but then i did her test run and realized thats shes really fun and hits like a truck, at which point i managed to get her on a 50/50 :D i was initially planning to skip until arlecchino but... i couldnt resist and i dont regret it, shes a lot of fun

Excellent showcase. I'm extremely happy with Navia. She doesn't necessarily "fix" geo, but she's probably the best and most flexible geo unit in the game right now, and she looks absolutely amazing.

God, this made me want to pull for her so badly.....
She's super fun. I'm using SoBP on her right now because I probably won't be able to get her signature "claymore" and SoBP is the second best looking by far. Also it and Skyward are the only 5* claymores I have and the Atk is so high it's better than my 4 stars even with the obsolete physical bonus stats.

I am being real here...this has nothing to do with subjective opinions anymore. What was Hoyo thinking? Her design, her movements, the details, the playstile, the uniqueness... This has to be the single coolest genshin character we have till this day. She is not only gorGEOus and fun to play - but really good too.

@@anyaaa2801 It really seems that Hoyo has there favourites. A lot of necessary cons like Whristley C1 are really annoying. They sell a solution to an artificial problem. But Navia has none of that. No second skill use looked behind a constellation, she gathers all the annoying shards by simply holding the skill...she has really no stupid drawbacks.

I love her concept but with Cloud Retainer on the horizon, I'm more interested to see what she brings to the table.
Cloud retained is a buff bot for Xiao sadly, she only buffs plunge damage wich makes her obsolete with everyone else
@@llNightRoudll people are also memeing about with dragon strike Diluc and it seems to be fun if you're into the playstyle. But yeah, she's so incredibly niche that she doesn't seem too worth it unless you either love the character or are really taken with the jump skill for exploration.
@@llNightRoudll I'm quite sure her burst increases jump height for the team. So everyone can do plunge attacks. Unfortunately, it's only 8 stacks, each plunge removes the stack. So basically only 8 plunge attacks.
@@llNightRoudllYou saying that makes me think you also had the prophetic dreams, and if so, how did you come to this conclusion? She literally allows for other DPS characters to use plunge attacks so she benefits way more. She might be one of the most versatile anemo characters we have.
