Agreed. I was totally blown away last year @ Rockstadt Extreme Fest in Rasnov, Romania - amongst all metal and metal-like acts there, these masters truly stood out.
Been spinning closer to a world below for decades and this album reminds me a lot of that legend. Amazing return to form fellows. I look forward to enjoying this for decades to come.

After the show i talk to the front man and the guitariste like 10 minutes and showing some love to what them do for metal and so nice the see them live in Montréal, amaze me and take my time to tell at this guys it's a glory time to listen this guys live... soo pround to have them in metal scene...sorry for my bad english 😂

Just having an idea about the artwork. It is connected with the artworks of the first two albums but more evil. On the first (dawn of possession) the angels had no chance against the demons. On the second (here in after) the angels were fallen. This was evil but the angels still represented something good. This artwork here shows that there is nothing good at all. A sinister man who is taken by dark and cruel angels... It was a pleasure to see the Immolation using their old logo again on atonement, but on this album they really found the darkness (again) that death metal needs. They are back. I wish there were more bands going back to their roots. Grave, Unleashed, Edge Of Sanity, Obituary, Tiamat, Hypocrisy, Entombed, Dismember, Mortification, Acheron and even Deicide, Monstrosity and Carcass.
