AOTY in BDM for me... Lillie Gruber its really one of the best drummers on the planet and its not even debatable! Defeated Sanity and Brodequin are tied for my best BDM bands ever... and them just released an album this year! What a fucking year for Brutal Death Metal
The one time I saw Defeated Sanity I was directly in front of the band. Their entire performance was just amazing, usually I don’t film much, but my 18 minutes of footage is fun to watch again. Their discography is perfect.
Between this and Lille's drumming on Ingurgitating Oblivion's new album, he's definitely my favorite drummer this year. This album really hits the spot. My AOTY top 10 list is gonna be really difficult to choose. So many insane albums came out.
It felt like an eternity waiting for this to be release. Finally the cat is out of the bag, and this does not disappoint one bit. AOTY material for sure.

Fun Story about this one: this is a riff I stole from my metallic HC Untoxicated project back in 1997. So it actually predates Nu-Metal haha -----> it's not the first Riff I took from that project. The first was a slow breakdown in the song Hideously disembodied
