In liturgical churches (Roman Catholic, Lutheran, Episcopal, etc), purple is actually the color for advent! Advent is the season before Christmas so we don't actually celebrate Christmas until the 25th and we celebrate it for a few weeks after.

I'm an atheist but I'm culturally Lutheran (Church of Sweden). There's a distinct difference in Advent and Christmas even in secular tradition. For example, we have Advent decorations that go up for First Advent Sunday, and Christmas decorations that go up a few days before Christmas. Putting up a Christmas tree in early December is absolutely forbidden. Christmas lasts for 20 days, counting from Christmas Eve, and traditionally you keep your tree and decorations up for the entire period. On the 20th day of Christmas (January 13) you have a last hurrah of dancing around the tree and "raiding the tree" (traditionally, a lot of the tree decorations were candy, e.g. candy canes and baskets of candy) before taking it all down.
This is why you are one of my favorite people on RUclips. Not only is your personality amazing and fun. But when tater is sick you drop everything even filming to cuddle him and let him know his mommy loves and is with him! ❤ I suffer from severe seizures. I know how hard they are on not only the person (Or tater) having it but their loved ones too ❤

I just stumbled upon a fancy chocolate advent calendar from Vosges Haut-Chocolat (see, it even *sounds* fancy!) that might be fun for next year! It's *stupid* expensive, about $300, but the packaging is absolutely stunning AND meant to be reused year after year. They even sell a refill box for the low low price of $160!😅 I think it's all sold out this year, but it's a thought for next year🤗

I know a lot of products say they are dermatologist approved, but my actual dermatologist recommends that regular dial soap to help with my psoriasis, HS and cutaneous Crohns. So you can easily say that cheap dollar soap is better than some of the things you received *cough*rhinestone stickers*cough*
I've always wondered where these doctors who recommend stuff come from. Because whenever I talk to my actual doctors about it they recommend stuff that has existed forever. I've never had a doctor recommend the newest technology. Literally ever.

That eye cream has amazing ingredients and actually will work. Like I mentioned in my comment about the multi sizes of hyaluronic acid molecules, the smaller the molecules the deeper and more effective the effect. It will work better plumping & sending water that way, the stimulating process also makes the body create more collagen too. Wow that’s a good one

And even though you have that eye shadow pallet a million times over, it’s exactly like you said, it’s so usable, a great final day, and great for people who don’t get a ton of calendars and boxes all the time. Suchhhh a good follow up for the Macy’s disaster.
You commented on the colours not being very christmassy or wintery. Purple is the colour of advent though, so I think it absolutely suits an advent calendar 💜

FAB lotion is sooooooo good. It actually feels like it absorbs into your skin. I don’t have that particular type but I have the ultra repair cream in the tub for your hands and I love it. It’s the only semi-expensive thing I’ll always buy.

Poor little fella, he is so lucky to have such a loving Family to look after him. Family comes first, so glad he is doing well now. Our little guy recently lost his eye and he was very sad for a while but he bounced back too. Looking forward to the Liberty calendar.
I use that toning lotion from Origins and I love it! I was told you can apply it with a Cotton round but honestly it just waste the product. I use this as the first step in my skin care routine by dripping a few drops directly from the bottle onto my face and quickly rubbing it around. The product is very liquidy, and should be shaken each time before use. From what I was told, it’s both a toner and a very light weight lotion that balances your skins pH.
Sending love for Tato! This calendar was awesome in comparison! Even though only half was full-sized products, the others looked like travel sizes instead of samples. I really liked the design of this calendar and how they matched the brushes to the calendar theme.
I love the Espa body scrub, which I got in some subscription box. Would love to try the shower gel if I can get it for less. Origins! That is the best toner ever. "Public restroom hand soap consistency" LOL. So glad Tater is better!! You're such a good mom!
I got the LookFantastic calendar last year, and I loved it because there is a good mix of makeup, skincare, hair care, and even a couple of home items! Plus, the items aren't sample size!!! This year's calendar does look good too. I think it is one of the better calendars so far this season, but P. Louise still has the top spot!
I love that Dr. Weil Origins mega mushroom liquid, Ive been using it for years! I put it on after i wash my face. Sometimes i skip an actual moisturizer and just use the mushroom liquid. It does help redness and irritated skin. Great for combination skin too.

I don't wear black eyeliner often. But every year Clinique gives me a free black eyeliner when I buy skin care, sometimes a mascara as well. That eyeliner lasts me the whole year. So the black eyeliner can be a useful gift, if you aren't buying 25 advent calendars every year.
I completely understand your worries about your pup! Mine just turned 7 and he is constantly having seizures and they are only getting worse and more frequent. A lot of times it happens when my husband is at work and I have terrible anxiety and I freak out. But I try not to because I have to talk to him calmly and try to make him as comfortable as possible and let him ride it out. It's heartbreaking and nerve wracking

Hope Tater's feeling better today! You should never worry about delaying videos for your puppies' health (or your own, for that matter) - they're clearly more important! It also took me way to long to realize why there were only 12-13 boxes in a 25 day advent calendar. I honestly counted those boxes so many times without realizing the calendar was double sided.
I recently tried iconic London prep set glow setting spray and LET ME TELL YOU…. the glow is real! I look like I’m just a naturally glowy, woke up this way girl. The bottle was a trial size and since I started using it a month ago, it barely made a dent.
I am so sorry for little Tater and for you. My Pom had a bad one today, and another not-so-bad seizure last week. The frequency is unusual and I'm not often too upset by them because by 8yrs old I'm used to it but yeah, you hate it for them. I've had to wash messy poopy butt twice in the past week, as well, so it's not the best doggy week. I hope Tater has a nice long (like forever) time of seizure-free life ahead of him. I am using Revlon illuminance, and I swear, I have drier skin and this foundation is sooooooo dewy. I have to tone it down with powder, but I get compliments on my beautiful glowy skin almost every day. I was even in the pharmacy and a woman came up to me to ask what I was wearing.

Alexandria my daughter had a very rare form of epilepsy an nearly a year ago I put her hemp seed oil because it's meant to be good for the brain. An her specialist saw a huge difference in her an her medication has stabilise. I know you can get hemp oil for animal an the good thing is hemp doesn't seem to interfere with other medications. Maybe you could look into it for taters an then discuss it with your vet. It can't hurt too look into😅
Retinol is amazing around the eyes, the thing is that it can be very drying. It’s recommended to start 1-2 days a week and taper up or use a retinol eye cream.
The beauty of joseon sun relief cream spf and the lys foundation give me a DEWY look . I use blotting tissues under my eyes, absolutely no powders touch my face. Overall my face is glowier if I use ceramides too, a drop of oil can help as well.

5:21 a lot of “lip plumpers” these days actually just have hydrating/moisturizing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and shea butter which give your lip a temporary and very mild plumping effect. Think about how dry plants shrivel up and become small. Well-hydrated plants look lush and full. A glossy lip also reflects light better which adds to the illusion of lip plumping

I use magnesium oil on my calves and feet cos I get a lot of cramping at night , it realllly helps! Know anyone who suffers from cramps, get them on that stuff, the brand I use is Ancient Minerals

Muslin cloths can have exfoliating qualities , Which dont damage the skin like some exfoliating cleansers can because of the little scrubby bits which can basicly be like using glass shards to clean your skin. Muslin cloths loose their exfoliating abilities after so many uses. This is why they need changing frequently. I can only speak from personal experience but I find these cloths really good. My skin feels good after using them.

Magnesium does nice things for your muscles. That's why people soak in epsom salt baths, which is magnesium salt and very cheap.

I can attest that, while expensive, their chocolate is very good. But I've only had a bar or two from them. I don't have $300 to drop on chocolate lol

Loving this calendar season! Also, lip "plumpers" don't have to be the tingley kind. They can have hyaluronic acid in them, which is also ok for skin.

Poor little fella, he is so lucky to have such a loving Family to look after him. Family comes first, so glad he is doing well now. Our little guy recently lost his eye and he was very sad for a while but he bounced back too. Looking forward to the Liberty calendar.
I use that toning lotion from Origins and I love it! I was told you can apply it with a Cotton round but honestly it just waste the product. I use this as the first step in my skin care routine by dripping a few drops directly from the bottle onto my face and quickly rubbing it around. The product is very liquidy, and should be shaken each time before use. From what I was told, it’s both a toner and a very light weight lotion that balances your skins pH.
Sending love for Tato! This calendar was awesome in comparison! Even though only half was full-sized products, the others looked like travel sizes instead of samples. I really liked the design of this calendar and how they matched the brushes to the calendar theme.

I love that Dr. Weil Origins mega mushroom liquid, Ive been using it for years! I put it on after i wash my face. Sometimes i skip an actual moisturizer and just use the mushroom liquid. It does help redness and irritated skin. Great for combination skin too.

I don't wear black eyeliner often. But every year Clinique gives me a free black eyeliner when I buy skin care, sometimes a mascara as well. That eyeliner lasts me the whole year. So the black eyeliner can be a useful gift, if you aren't buying 25 advent calendars every year.
I completely understand your worries about your pup! Mine just turned 7 and he is constantly having seizures and they are only getting worse and more frequent. A lot of times it happens when my husband is at work and I have terrible anxiety and I freak out. But I try not to because I have to talk to him calmly and try to make him as comfortable as possible and let him ride it out. It's heartbreaking and nerve wracking

Hope Tater's feeling better today! You should never worry about delaying videos for your puppies' health (or your own, for that matter) - they're clearly more important! It also took me way to long to realize why there were only 12-13 boxes in a 25 day advent calendar. I honestly counted those boxes so many times without realizing the calendar was double sided.
I recently tried iconic London prep set glow setting spray and LET ME TELL YOU…. the glow is real! I look like I’m just a naturally glowy, woke up this way girl. The bottle was a trial size and since I started using it a month ago, it barely made a dent.
I am so sorry for little Tater and for you. My Pom had a bad one today, and another not-so-bad seizure last week. The frequency is unusual and I'm not often too upset by them because by 8yrs old I'm used to it but yeah, you hate it for them. I've had to wash messy poopy butt twice in the past week, as well, so it's not the best doggy week. I hope Tater has a nice long (like forever) time of seizure-free life ahead of him. Hugs to you both! And thank you for posting this fun calendar, it's gorgeous and I like the things in it. But you know it's you that keeps bringing us back. I am using Revlon illuminance, and I swear, I have drier skin and this foundation is sooooooo dewy. I have to tone it down with powder, but I get compliments on my beautiful glowy skin almost every day. I was even in the pharmacy and a woman came up to me to ask what I was wearing.
I find the easiest way to get a dewy look is to use a dewy setting spray. That always works for me. ❤️🎄

Alexandria my daughter had a very rare form of epilepsy an nearly a year ago I put her hemp seed oil because it's meant to be good for the brain. An her specialist saw a huge difference in her an her medication has stabilise. I know you can get hemp oil for animal an the good thing is hemp doesn't seem to interfere with other medications. Maybe you could look into it for taters an then discuss it with your vet. It can't hurt too look into😅

Retinol is amazing around the eyes, the thing is that it can be very drying. It’s recommended to start 1-2 days a week and taper up or use a retinol eye cream.
The beauty of joseon sun relief cream spf and the lys foundation give me a DEWY look . I use blotting tissues under my eyes, absolutely no powders touch my face. Overall my face is glowier if I use ceramides too, a drop of oil can help as well.

I use magnesium oil on my calves and feet cos I get a lot of cramping at night , it realllly helps! Know anyone who suffers from cramps, get them on that stuff, the brand I use is Ancient Minerals

This was the one adventure calendar I considered buying but practiced discipline because I have too many products.
Still having a bit of FOMO though.
Muslin cloths can have exfoliating qualities , Which dont damage the skin like some exfoliating cleansers can because of the little scrubby bits which can basicly be like using glass shards to clean your skin. Muslin cloths loose their exfoliating abilities after so many uses. This is why they need changing frequently. I can only speak from personal experience but I find these cloths really good. My skin feels good after using them.
this is a great calendar and would love to hear if you try the Color Wow. But I also lost it when you were spot on with the public restroom hand soap analogy! And it's good to see your young man resting and feeling better.
