Those are fun calendars to open, never seen the Game of Thrones calendar before so that was double the fun and Shrek is indeed perfect in every way you described. I had my first ever Calendar from Revolution... (25 days of Glam) I did love every bit of it as you can build up a whole facial with it and I am years out of practice using make-up. That is why I love watching your video's/channel you bring back the fun and I am learning and laughing a lot from you. Thank you for all your time and effort putting into this al together, have a wonderful fantastic day and keep them coming hihihi : )
I don't know if you seen it, but I got an ad for Charmed Aroma, and they have like 3 advent calendars. They're currently on clearance! I have no idea who they are, but it sounded interesting for a video(s)!
My friend has a channel (much smaller but 18K is great to me) anyway she refilled two of the advent calendars she unboxed with some of the products and did two giveaways! But I would love to see her use products from her store! Amazing idea!
That GOT beauty blender should have been a dragon egg - they missed a trick with that. Also, the names in that Lannister palette sound like they should belong to a Targaryen palette instead - I mean "Dragon Glass" "Stormborn" "Dragon" "Mad King" "Bend the Knee" (something Dany says a LOT)...and the Targaryn House words "Fire and Blood". Seriously? Even the colour of the packaging (black and red) is Targ colours. I think someone messed up there. Edit: Heartsbane is the House Tarly Valerian steel sword so idk what the heck they were thinking calling it a Lannister palette lol

With all the mirrors you get from advent calendars- you could make a little collage for your filming room. So some would face forward (if it back is plain) and others with the back out (like the gingy or GOTs).
These weren’t bad advent calendars at all. My fav is the Shrek one. Make gingerbread cookies and put them in this tin and gift it to someone. I think that would be adorable. Thanks Alexandria and I love seeing the boys. They are so dang cute I want to just kiss their faces 🥰♥️

i think these are examples of the benchmark for advent calendars. it was heavily and enthusiastically themed, the items would either be worth buying on their own or were unique and fun (except that peppermint scrunchie, that doesn't seem functional lol) I really liked these and hope they do one for one of my interests in the future!! ty for the reviews, Alexandria!
Honestly if you just made advent calendars a regular video weekly for the rest of the year, I would be happy. I look forward to these along your other videos. I love coming home from a very stressful day at work and seeing you open fun things.

The end of that book proved that nothing is sacred and no character was safe from GRRM's pen lol. I definitely recommend the books if you're a book person - tho they're a slog if you're not. But several amazing characters did not make it into the show for whatever reason which makes them worth giving them a go just for Lady Ironheart.
Sean Bean always dies early, almost always anyway. It's a running joke 😂 Only 2 shows that I've seen him in where his character survived more than a little while is Sharpe and Snowpiercer. Think his role in Lord of the rings was on purpose 😂

You should try the red paw paw . It gives you a wash of color and so much moisture And use those weird shaped brushes to dig out the last of some makeup or skincare!
Those were so fun! We do the Muffin Man back & forth everyday as well! 😂 It’s hilarious. I LOVE the GOT lipstick holders! I would melt my own lipstick down to put in those! Phenomenal packaging, ghastly colours! I would look as if I need a toe tag if I put either one on my lips! 😂
This was fun! I like the 2 for one videos as much as the longer single ones. Having a themed calendar adds that extra interest. Some thoughts: - you & hubby with the gingy conversation- so cute and perfect. - those lip gloss and mascaras are like the cheapest of the cheapest manufacture bottles, lol, then just filled up and wrapped up pretty. - aww Stark palette should have been a purples/blues/greens/ silvers . A WINTER palette. Not those pinks. - what you said about Ned- SAME!!! even after so many years, the ads and marketing did such a good job at NOT telling us who’s doesn’t stick around in season 1 . But even with Ned gone he is still very much a “main character” through the series. It’s like to me - his loss is what started the downfall of all this madness. Had they not done that, he would have affected and changed so many things that happened later. I found myself saying “no! What would ned do! He wouldn’t do that” many times.

GOT, I did the very same thing my 1st time!!😂 My husband n I dressed up as Shrek n Fiona for Halloween. When my cousin got married, they had a costume party for their reception and she made us promise to wear our S&F costumes. It was a huge hit. Our oldest son was already 6ft 8in and dressed as Jack Skelington.😂 We were all a big hit.
I love the shrek calendar. My hubby and I love the Shrek movies and joke that it's basically our story, we even live in a swamp, lol. We went to Universal Orlando for our honeymoon, many years ago now, and while we were there had our picture done as Shrek and Fiona. Of course this was before filters became a common thing for photos, back in 2005. If I was a person to buy a beauty calendar, the Gingy tin would be the one I'd get just for the cuteness factor and our love of all things Shrek.
I did not watch Game of Thrones until I was recovering from surgery for about 6 weeks. That was in 2018 and it was so riveting and bingeworthy that I actually walked down the aisle last year to the game of thrones theme! I think revolution did a good Job on this 2 calendars they really captured the theme!

I personally was never too much of a primer/setting spray person. Then I saw a video Tati did. She said to do your whole face, setting powder and all! Then spray your face, dry it, then spray again. It works!!!

Dilect must be by region, my mom's family is from Auxier, I have an Aunti living in Paintsville, we would go home every year for the whole month of August, it takes 2 weeks to acclimate to the draw, and then we had to start over the following year. My Uncles used to laugh at our dialect, we talked foreign! We were born and raised in Arizona 😂we don't have an accent! 😅

I just finished watching GOT for the first time. I knew some about it but not a lot. I knew Ned died early because Sean Bean always dies early in everything he's in. I love the show! I really want to watch it again. I hate the ending though. I love the advent calendar. It's so fun! I wish there were names on the packages and some blush, highlight or bronzer. Makeup brushes would've been cool too. So we both love Shrek and quote Shrek daily? When you said donkey while talking about the shape I was like yep she's loves Shrek like me.

if you add a dark colored lip liner to the light pink shades or the light shades it will mix in and give you a nice color

I just finished watching GOT for the first time. I knew some about it but not a lot. I knew Ned died early because Sean Bean always dies early in everything he's in. I love the show! I really want to watch it again. I hate the ending though. I love the advent calendar. It's so fun! I wish there were names on the packages and some blush, highlight or bronzer. Makeup brushes would've been cool too.

I haven’t worn makeup or used any skincare in years, but my advancing age demands I learn more about it now. I’ve just really enjoyed your personality and your product knowledge (or lack thereof at times, which makes me feel less intimidated by it all myself). You’ve inspired me to do some after-advent shopping myself, so I’ve now opened Wet n Wild’s Peanuts box and Color Nymph’s advent calendar. I have Revolution’s Emily In Paris and the Macy’s calendars on the way. So fun!
