Hey guys! Today we have a super valuable luxury advent calendar from Liberty London! This is the first time (I think lol) we have unboxed this calendar on the channel! Let me know what you guys think of this one! Love ya💖
The Liberty teams know their audience, and you know that audience is absolutely loving this edit. $320 is up there, but it seems worth it! Thank you for sharing with us! 💖
Alexandria have you seen the opening of the $5400 Dior Advent. It was a crime against humanity. 😢 I'm still discussing it with my fur baby. I think his head is locked in a permanent tilt. 😂
Holy cannoli! That first personal sized vial of perfume is $65! 😳 The next little vial of perfume that you did not look up is the poets of Berlin which is $95, holy crud!! Ok ok the Le Labo balm is $105, YES I am in awe. Wow oh wow! The ghost of Tom perfume is $295 and it’s the only size I can find.
Oh my god, Liberty’s is THE Department Store in London; People will buy the smallest of items there, with their branding, just to say that they’ve been there. The Advent Calendar’s front, which is a Tudor property, is actually the shop! Believe it or not, if someone had bought me that mirror, I would be happy. It’s from their new fabric range. My partner took me up to the Palladium theatre for a show for my Birthday and we went into Liberty’s to buy me some of their fabric and then we had a dinner opposite the building, which meant any photos taken had the building in the background.
@@muscleandhateyep. And further to this, it’s what’s called “mock Tudor”. It was part of a big revival in the mid 19th century and is part of the “gothic revival” trends of the same time.
I watched Mia Maples open a Dior advent calendar yesterday and I think there's a new all time worst! She paid $5400 CAD and it was all full size perfumes, candles, lipstick, and some knick knacks, but when she added up the value it only came to about $3200 CAD?!? So now I'm excited to see if anything we open here can beat the sheer AUDACITY of Dior...😳
Alexandria, you should keep a sachet of coffee beans around when you do these advent calendars. The scent of roasted coffee (before it's brewed) clears the nose of other scents. A lot of perfume counter associates keep them on hand for this exact reason. As someone who is also SUPER sensitive to perfume-y smells, I've often just opened up the coffee container at home and taken a whiff. It really helps!

@@malka1762have you checked out Libertys webpage. They are a huge department store in London and have a big fabric section so may have this design printed on fabric they sell??
In the UK liberty have a subscription service where you pay £20 monthly (which goes into a store credit acount) and they send a box of goodies every few months. Ive been a member for a while so used my credit to buy the calendar and i LOVE IT. And in girl math it was totally free 😅
Hi! Liberty is one of the poshest department stores in the UK. The calendar is modelled on its building - all mock Tudor. It is famous for its patterns (on the inside of the calendar & the mirror) and it also works with a lot of new designers. Shame the calendar wasn’t patterned. Love the videos!
That's a Liberty print, designed for Liberty. When you said it was 'like a fancy living room' that's because they practically invented that look (there's obviously a lot more to design history, but it's like how Ikea created the 'Ikea Look'). 🖤
I like the fact that the filler items like the mirror and clips were included with other things. This does seem like a good value calendar for someone very into high end beauty. The calendar is so pretty too, love liberty prints even tho they are £££ (i think you could probably buy liberty print wallpaper but it will cost an arm and a leg...)

They sell some of their cotton at Joann’s lol. Probably some of the most expensive fabric they have. The prints are beautiful but it’s like cotton lawn and super thin from what I’ve seen.

As a British subscriber, It was nice to see a UK calendar! I have always thought of Liberty as one of those very posh shops I cant afford to even go in, and this pretty much confirms that 😂 seems like very good value for money though! Thank you for the video 💕 I don't know if you've ever had this recommended before, but if you have to smell a lot of different scents, you can sniff ground coffee (unused) as a sort of scent palate cleanser. I'm not sure it will help if youve got a lot of scents hanging around in the air, but if you're putting it on paper and then moving the paper away, it might help with the scent overload 😊

From what I'm told Liberty is a bit like House of Fraser or Debenhams (before their takeovers) in that they do sell £XX,XXX items but they also sell reasonably priced stuff and have cracking sales. Sadly I'm nowhere near London otherwise I'd probably spend too much time there. 😅🖤
I love doing the maths at the beginning of each one so I can be suitably horrified or impressed by what you get for the money. These bring me so much joy so thank you for spending your hard earned money so we don't have to spend ours ❤
That’s so much perfume! I’ve seen shops keep a little jar of coffee beans near their fragrances to help cleanse the nose between scents. Maybe try keeping some coffee beans on your desk; it might not help with the headache, but I can vouch that it helps clear an overwhelmed nose 😉
Alexandria - I nearly died laughing when you accidentally wiped your lips with the yucky fragrance. You made such a funny face! Thank you for being so real and sharing your videos.
Did you know you can kind of guess perfume scents by their colors? Green tones are light and fresh fragrances like dewdrops /grass, brown perfumes are woody and dense, pale pink are for floral and romantic and intense pink are sweeter.
Amber/brown is almost always vanilla (or at least has vanilla in it)--too much vanilla will leave a little bit of color behind but it doesn't usually stain permanently. In my experience, it's the only perfume category that leaves any kind of color behind
That's kind of how I rate candle and soap scents, meaning that I don't bother to even touch anything blue (unless it specifically says "cotton"), because it usually has some kind of strange "beachy" aroma that I do not like.
That Poets of Berlin perfume is even better on skin than sprayed on paper. I recently received a sample of it in ipsy. They say it's inspired by David Bowie’s love of Berlin, this bold scent combines notes of blueberry, lemon, bamboo, green wild orris, and Haitian vetiver. I felt the same way about that Sunday Riley product. I laughed, seeing you have the same reaction I did. That was a cool looking lipstick. I'm really sensitive to cigarette smoke as well, I have to rehome those perfumes with that scent. I think the calendar was nice because it had actual product in it, not just a bunch of sample size products. Maybe not for me though. It was a very pretty box too.
What perfumes do you have that are “cigarette” scented? Because I’m a sucker for tobacco notes in my fragrances and I’m a frag head lol I also smoke cigarettes yet I’m told on a consistent basis how good I smell haha cigarettes and Oud bouquet is my go to baby 😋😚
As someone allergic to rose and has a heavy problem with intense perfumes in general (and I also have ADHD lul), I empathize with you watching you try them on as so many people don't understand how headache and nausea inducing they can be.
I don't think that is adhd related lol its a allergy issue ya'll have because as someone with ADD I love love love rose scent the heavier rose scent the better and love strong perfumes like the orginal YSL opium perfume along with Channel °5
Of course having an allergy is not ADHD related not sure how you put that together. I was pointing out our similarities in general.@@mercedesvelasquez8781
Alexandria you are a Christmas Tradition for me! I think I like this advent calendar more than I have any other I've seen you unbox. I have some of the products like the "Paula's Choice" product. It works great for me and I've repurchased it quite a few times. I've heard of almost all the brands in it. So I'm giving this advent calendar an A+. I know I'm starting with a high grade but compared to others I've seen you unbox it deserves it.
Liberty London is a designer fashion brand made famous for their textile prints. I’ve used their cotton prints in my own design practice. They made beautiful quality cotton fabrics and their print designs are uniquely delicate and feminine. 💖
My niece took her own life a few days ago, and binge watching Alexandria’s advent calendars has been such a comfort to me this week. Laughter truly is the best medicine, thank you Alexandria 💛
I hope wherever your niece is, she’s no longer suffering from her own brain torment, it’s a horrid feeling. So much love and hugs as you navigate this unimaginable time
The rose inc blushes were actually known as the toilet seat blushes all over the internet when they came out 😂 but i do have two of them and love them, only as a blush though!
At least the mirror wasnt in its own day! Sephora or Chanel could never! And, it came in a cute little baggie which looks like its possibly that microfiber material that you could use to clean the fingerprints? And you could store it in that baggy in your purse. A compact would definitely be better, but at least its not a pin-less button theyre calling a mirror 😅 Also, that "13" on the Byredo lipstick is a B. Not 13. 😂
I was just excited seeing that the little bag in this box contained a mirror, and wasn’t just an empty bag like the Channel Bag from last year’s Chanel Advent Calendar. I still believe that was the worst advent calendar ever. I absolutely love this calendar and it’s certainly worth the $300 price tag.
Honestly as cute and amazing hers is its way to much crap and over whelming. Folks need to look into LH cosmetics advent calender because they did it right with the perfect amount of make up that is all full size, individually wrapped up in tissue paper number with 1/2/ & so forth and everything is placed inside a huge make up bag instead of a typical advent calendar box that would normally be tossed into the trash..
@@mercedesvelasquez8781 PLouise is intended for aspiring makeup artists so I can see how it would be overwhelming to an individual that isn't interested in that. I buy it for myself but I'm more or less the neighborhood mom/grandma/auntie & there's a lot of young kids in my neighborhood that aged out of foster care. It gets used up quickly
I bought this calendar this year (one of just a few, I was very picky) and I have been loving it so far. While I don't think they value is as high as they claim, the products are unique and high quality. And the calendar itself is so pretty and cozy. I think this one is a winner overall.
I’m a skincare junkie, so I really love this calendar!! As gorgeous as the Byredo lipstick is, I just am not a big makeup fan, since I’m definitely happy that only 3 makeup items were in this one. Also, as much as I love Augustinus Bader and would be very happy to get the Cream or The Rich cream in every calendar I buy, I think having it in day 25 isn’t the most exciting thing!!
I only know Liberty because my mom has always loved their silk scarves, I had no idea this calendar was going to be so elaborate. I actually checked the website (kinda hoping it might be on sale) but it’s sold out!
8:13 a tip for next time, you get into fragrance, that isn’t the most appealing, on your skin, take an alcohol swab, or isopropyl alcohol and a cotton ball, or other delivery device, and wipe at your skin. This will NOT work if you put perfume, on your clothing, but works great for skin. Also, another use for alcohol swabs, if you get nauseous, rip open a swab, and take a deep breath of the alcohol smell. It works pretty well. I learned this from either the ER, or from the few times I have had to be transported from my home, to a hospital, because I could not stop from getting violent ill. (Side note: I have a medical condition that causes the nausea and other problems. At the time of my need for transport, I was in the middle of actively trying to get diagnosed with said illness, and after 5 hours of almost constant retching, I needed help.)
I love all these advent videos. I watched somebody unbox a $5400.00 Chanel advent calendar and I couldn't believe what they did it actually cost about double then if you bought everything separately 😮 so it made your unboxing of Chanel look like a bargain
Alexandria, you need to keep a small resealable bag or other small resealable container full of really strong, oily coffee beans on your filming desk. You sniff them after you smell anything else and it will really help you to reset your olfactory nodes and can probably help you avoid those scent headaches.
I'm glad you didn't hate the advent calendar...❤ The 111 skin Celestial products are good- and can be pricey. I was surprised so many people totally overlooked the 111 skin Celestial Black Diamond serum, in their FabFitFun boxes. I purchased 2 of them! I do like it when you have Advent Calendars with awesome products... I hope I haven't missed your Sephora U K version unboxing...❤
I don't think she's done the Sephora UK one yet. I think perhaps we have hyped it so much she maybe now has high expectations and will wait til nearer Christmas day. Can't wait to see her rant about the difference between the two, though 😂

I love creating custom lipstick colors by adding golds or champagne or even berries over too dark or too kite lip shades. I hate nudes but if I add a dark shade I don’t like on top and a champagne sometimes they are stunning. You can take bright pinks and tone them down with white holo colors or golden shades to make them nude rose colors. So the shades you don’t like play around with mixing other colors you may not like or ones you do because a light with dark can mix to make beautiful neutral shades. This way you can keep a lot of these cool lipsticks that may not match you perfectly but are still neat.
Oh my, I just love your advent calendar videos, I'm sure you don't ever get to read that comment! For day number 9, with that blush stuff, that mirror was super cute and I love that it had the advent calendars pattern and you are right, it would have been nice to make it into a compact, however, since they made just a mirror, what they should have done was ALSO include a microfiber towel that is also printed with the same pattern of the calendar! I just love those little towels, they clean my glasses so well! I am biast though, because I LOVE THAT PATTERN! NEVER stop these videos, you know we love your advent calendar videos! Day 14. I thought the lipstick looked great on you! With a little gloss over it! I think it would look even better!
Every video that pops up on my notifications has me excited it’s finally that round box with the cabin on it! I’m soooo excited to see whats in it. It looks like it’s cross stitched from afar and I’m Mister Burns over here with the “excellent” moment 😂
LOVE Paula’s Choice products! My mom is an esthetician, and over the last 15 years we’ve tried everything on my and my sister’s totally opposite skin issues. There’s a Paula’s Choice or a Dermalogica product for every issue we have!
I know we all have our personal preferences in what shades we feel most comfortable in but sweetie you are so adorable any lipstick looks Great on you ❣️
Hi Alexandria! I’ve been a follower for awhile and I just want to say thank you for your videos. The advent calendar series has been a source of joy for me. My dad is in the hospital and watching your videos has brought me joy and laughter during a difficult time. And I just wanted to thank you for that. Also Tom Riddle’s perfume 😂!
I just knew by your sheer excitement before even seeing it that you were the most excited was a candle!!😂 This calendar seems much better than others I have seen, probably because there are fewer trial size items and you are getting atleast some useful stuff!
I was taught that when you are trying a bunch of fragrances, after a while your nostrils get full of the scents and you can’t take in new ones. So a good trick is to breath through some fabric, like a scarf or something. Just a few breaths, but it clears out your sinuses and you can try some more perfumes. It was a perfume maker that told me that trick and it works well. Love your work.
Holy 😱😱😱! The prices of some of those items are outrageous! I want to see who some of the people are that go up to a counter and say yes ma’am can you get me that cream right there that is $300 for 1 ounce lol 😂! I wonder what would happen if you emailed Liberty London and wanted to return the calendar? 😂😂😂 And Alexandria that colour of lipstick 💄 looks stunning on you. If you’re uncomfortable in it just put a couple dots of it on your lips and use your finger to sheer it out across your lips 👄! It really truly looks so fabulous on you. This was a great Calendar. Yes a lot of skin care but really most of them are. Especially the higher priced ones. It is so nice to see the boys there with you. When you said REN so excitedly about the skin care fur baby Ren lifted his head and looked at you like what? What’s up mom? Then put his head down and went right back to sleep lol. Much love Alexandria ♥️
I’ve never seen your channel before but you are just sweet as pie, I would never normally spend £350 on an advent calendar bur honestly you’re making me think about doing it at least once in my life
Try using the pinker lipstick with a brown liner or a brown coloured gloss? To neutralise it a bit. I think it looks great, it goes well with your dark hair!! Thanks for the Christmas binge series hehe
Im rewatching these because i'm so hype for 2024 season. But i need to talk about the NOISE i made at the Luna oil at 3:26. I freaking HONKED watching it drip and you completely not notice at all
For dry lips, get the Nivea lip balm in the light blue tube. I use that one during the day and a lip mask at bedtime. My lips usually stay super dry if I don't use those 2 products religiously.
Hi, I think you should try the Rose Inc on your cheeks. It can look beautiful as a blush. Thanks for continuing this tradition, watching your reactions to these calendars is priceless. 🌷
Can I just say THANK YOU. I'm currently in agony from a wisdom tooth and are struggling to find a dentist but your videos are so comforting and easy to watch 💜
You could use a lip liner to tone down the pinkness of the lip color! Like a brownish nudey one would probably work. Also, I LOVE skin care way more than I love makeup, so if I had that much to spend on an advent calendar, I think it woukd be totally worth it for me!
This is the second day in a row that you posted a video right in time for me to watch on my break! Definitely makes the 10 hour work day a little bit better😅
What a great calendar. Get you some coffee beans to smell in between scents. So they don’t trigger a migraine. I’m the same way can’t do anything strong. You look great with the pink lipstick. ❤

That's kind of how I rate candle and soap scents, meaning that I don't bother to even touch anything blue (unless it specifically says "cotton"), because it usually has some kind of strange "beachy" aroma that I do not like.
So what are the clear ones?
Makes sense
That was cute that Ren knew his name and woke up to see what what you wanted ❤😂
13:53 I swear by Paul's choice aha bha it really works great on your face...❤
They always change based on skin chemistry, spraying on paper isn't the best method, lol!
@The_Cherokee_Gypsy Last one was called Mémoire archives 04 Wish you were here
“According to the ice cream calculator” 😂😂😂
As someone allergic to rose and has a heavy problem with intense perfumes in general (and I also have ADHD lul), I empathize with you watching you try them on as so many people don't understand how headache and nausea inducing they can be.
I don't think that is adhd related lol its a allergy issue ya'll have because as someone with ADD I love love love rose scent the heavier rose scent the better and love strong perfumes like the orginal YSL opium perfume along with Channel °5
I am so thankful that many products are fragrance-free these days!! The headaches are real!
Of course having an allergy is not ADHD related not sure how you put that together. I was pointing out our similarities in general.@@mercedesvelasquez8781
Yes thank goodness!
That Byredo lipstick looks gorgeous on you 😍❤
The Paula's choice bha exfoliator is literally liquid gold!!!
The advent calendar actually looks like the Liberty store. It's a very fancy shop filled with lovely things! This one was definitely a win!
My niece took her own life a few days ago, and binge watching Alexandria’s advent calendars has been such a comfort to me this week. Laughter truly is the best medicine, thank you Alexandria 💛
I hope your family continues to heal. Sending you all the love
I hope wherever your niece is, she’s no longer suffering from her own brain torment, it’s a horrid feeling. So much love and hugs as you navigate this unimaginable time
😢
I'm so sorry 💜🖤
Sending loads of love.
The rose inc blushes were actually known as the toilet seat blushes all over the internet when they came out 😂 but i do have two of them and love them, only as a blush though!
I have three blushes and their bronzers. They're beautiful 😍
I love mine but the latch for my case broke pretty quickly, so it won’t stay closed.
At least the mirror wasnt in its own day! Sephora or Chanel could never! And, it came in a cute little baggie which looks like its possibly that microfiber material that you could use to clean the fingerprints? And you could store it in that baggy in your purse. A compact would definitely be better, but at least its not a pin-less button theyre calling a mirror 😅
Also, that "13" on the Byredo lipstick is a B. Not 13. 😂
The Paula’s choice 2% BHA is amazing!! I swear by it. The company also have stuff made just for body that has helped my KP so much!!!
You're right about the blush looking toilet seat-ish
It's hard to get excited about them after the PLouise calendar but this one is definitely better than most of them.
Alexe's videos feel like an advent calendar for me because I don't have an actuall one, so as a substitute I watch these everyday😂💖
The rose inc pink is blush. Blush only. The formula is lovely.
The Tom’s Ghost thing shocked me… $295 got 100ml. I wanted the exact notes. I about died, when I saw almost $300 for the sample size!!
Omg the house is liberty print!!! How cuuuttteee! (Surrat is $ and great quality:) )
You can easily put on a brown lip liner to tone down the pinkness of the lipstick or go on top with a pinky brown lip gloss
I really like seeing the overview shot at the end!
Oh the ice cream calculator Eureka moment was too adorable!
Omg was it Mia??? I haven't seen the video yet but I saw that number 🤣🤣
Alexandria, you need to keep a small resealable bag or other small resealable container full of really strong, oily coffee beans on your filming desk. You sniff them after you smell anything else and it will really help you to reset your olfactory nodes and can probably help you avoid those scent headaches.
Alex’s voice has something so calming about it I could just listen to her rant 🤣
I clicked away from a Try Guys video when I saw your notification pop up 😅 glad to have your new video!!
I am in love with Rose Inc. Their products are gorgeous. Try using it as a blush (I didn't even know they said you could put itnon your lips).
I'm glad you didn't hate the advent calendar...❤
The 111 skin Celestial products are good- and can be pricey.
@@hawkeyescoffee6399🆘️Sephora accounts have been getting hacked into and it's happening to everyone not just youtube influencers. It's a huge problem currently and everyone is getting locked out of their account so please keep a high alert🆘️

I bet you are right!! I hope she does do a comparison between the sad U S Sephora & U K's version. ( It is so ridiculous how drastic in quality they are...)❤
I love the Christmas tree in the back. Makes it cozy.
Omg the wasted Luna oil makes me crazy. Its my favorite face oil & I cant afford to replace it, let alone buy a $300 advent calendar.😂😭
If you don’t care that it’s been opened and you are comfortable sending me your address privately, I will ship it to you!
@@Alexandria-Ryanomg😢 this is the sweetest thing ever🤗
That’s amazing. You’re the best!!
The Luna oil is my ultimate holy grail skincare product. If I could only use one product for the rest of my life, it's Luna hands down.
It’s so good for redness. I love it. Not too strong and never breaks me out
I also love love love the Luna oil
I think that lipstick brightens your face so much❤ Maybe you could try blend it together by using another shade of darker lipstick with lip brush
I know we all have our personal preferences in what shades we feel most comfortable in but sweetie you are so adorable any lipstick looks Great on you ❣️
The lipstick looks incredible on you, pretty in pink!
Every lipstick color you put on looks good on you!
Your Advent Calendar unboxing are my favorite.
Love your video's. You have such a wonderful sense of humor!!!
You should TOTALLY go live and open up a calendar!! That would be so fun and we COULD help you find the numbers
Alexandria, you crack me up.I love every year when you open your Advent Calendars. This Liberty calendar looks great.
the lipstick looks beautiful on you. It is great for your coloring.
Prayer for complete healing for your Dad and comfort, strength, and peace for you, him, and your whole family.
@@Kaemea thank you 🙏
I just knew by your sheer excitement before even seeing it that you were the most excited was a candle!!😂 This calendar seems much better than others I have seen, probably because there are fewer trial size items and you are getting atleast some useful stuff!
I know I've been on the the internet too long when ghost of Tom immediately reminded me of my first friend on Myspace 😆
The Byredo lipstick the heavy one looks stunning on you!!! I honestly think it suits you so well 🥰
3:16 Ok, if it also has a Good Genes bottle, I will get it. The Luna + Good Genes is my fave night combo!
I loved your reaction to the “Commodé” Rose blush.
Hi Alex, I think that lipstick looks really pretty on you. This calendar was really nice.❤
My Saturday just got even better!!! Love your advent calendar season!!!
The pink lipstick is really flattering and pretty on you!
I freaking HONKED watching it drip and you completely not notice at all
That lipstick color looked so nice on you! it really brightened your face☺️
For dry lips, get the Nivea lip balm in the light blue tube. I use that one during the day and a lip mask at bedtime. My lips usually stay super dry if I don't use those 2 products religiously.
Nothing beats aquaphor
This one was so much fun. Thank you for all the effort you put into this series. It personally means the world to me❤
i'm literally obsessed with these kind of video's
Hi, I think you should try the Rose Inc on your cheeks. It can look beautiful as a blush. Thanks for continuing this tradition, watching your reactions to these calendars is priceless. 🌷
When you do unboxigns, keep coffee beans close by and have a sniff between things you want to smell
The background buddies r a whole vibe❤
That Sunday Riley Luna serum is great. I use Sunday Riley for all my skincare and it's awesome.
