    love the chill atmosphere in the video! very insightful and informative. i gotta mention how brilliant the intro was from not only a creative aspect with the almost top down shot but how strategic it was in making the most easily skipped part of any video into one of the most visually engaging. great work again bro‼️

    • @Trentorials

      Thank you man. I find my average retention for videos is low due to my intros. So I’ve been trying to figure out how to keep them engaging. Especially for a video of this length.

      @@Trentorials that’s interesting, poppy intros are always fun (and you can always skip them) so thats weird people see an intro and then dip right away. i find my retention dips towards the middle or just right before it.

    Great video Trent! One recommendation I have is to use the Hue vs. Saturation tool in the Curves settings when you are color correcting. This tool allows you to individually adjust colors in your video that may be too saturated or desaturated.
    To use it, click the eyedropper tool next to the enable/disable button and click on the color you want to adjust. Then, adjust the middle dot on the graph, typically moving it up or down the Y axis.

    • @Trentorials
      @Trentorials  3 месяца назад

      Yes, hi. I am aware of the tool, and it’s helpful but it has it’s limitations and can easily be overdone and cause tearing; I always advise people against it as a first option

    however, it'd be really cool if you'd do a deep dive on color grading theory, on what does every module/setting mean, like a long form, idk 1 or 2 hour long walk through of your understanding of color grading. for example, spend 10 minutes on explaining what is contrast and saturation, how do they work together, what happens when you move one up or down, what are you looking at in the graphs and stuff

      @@Trentorials thanks man! The truth is I have a request that maybe you can do it, I watched one video of you to lighting in a budget.
      Right now I’m working in a coffee shop making the content of social media, I have one light amarán 100d and one Chinese version of aputure mc ( that tiny rgb light).
      My question is that how I achieve high key lighting only with those lights, maybe you can help me with that, I know it has to be super diffuse, I tried bouncing the light to the ceiling but is not good, I don’t know, maybe you have a better understanding of that and how to achieve that high key lighting look.
      Thanks man

    • @Trentorials
      @Trentorials  5 месяцев назад

      It’s hard to give you an exact answer since I don’t know your whole situation, what I can say, is that it doesn’t have to always be diffused, that is a preference you have to make. If you’re shooting wide, these lights are not great for that, they don’t have a great range. But since you have that Amran, I will get a globe diffusion, and put it on that

    • @Trentorials
      @Trentorials  5 месяцев назад

      You have to duplicate the clip, and then change the blending mode, so it looks good on top of your footage. I suggest right clicking a once you drag it in your timeline, making it nested and then in the nested sequence, duplicating the overlay for as long as you need it to last. Then just extending the nested sequence in your main timeline.
