What's up family 🌟
Here are some long awaited tips on how I grade my footage!
Do y'all like the soft/colourful look?
Love it!
Thanks for sharing, just wondering if you missed to link the explanation video to cineprint 16? Thanks :)
The biggest problem with color grade is that people don't understand that there is no right or wrongs. It is an artistic impression that you decide works or not.
100% FACTS.
exactly.
Can't agree more. Color grading is subjective matter.
Congrats on the first sponsor! Big step as an independent creator, been a great ride watching the channel grow 👍
Thank you friend ~
I'd just like to point out; the way you introduce and use your sponsor is genius. Most videos are gonna make a legit add break to babble about whatever brand they chose, and everyone is just gonna spam the skip button until they're back to the real video. But you, you used it as a useful and instructive part of your video. It also shows that the sponsors you choose have a real interest in your work. Overall, it makes your video come together
Thank you ~
So helpful, I’m taking notes ✍🏼 so lovely seeing your growth on yt and it’s well deserved!
Thank you friend ❤️

❤️
Amazing dawg !

My guy! Such an honor being features in your video, man. Not really thinking about this too often, but it's great to realise my work does help out. Appreciate the words. Oh, the name... You were close. Think off your shoe, then just put RD at the end! Hehe. Weird Dutch names...

Thank you ahhaha ~
It's from Kapital!
@@Havenotats ok booujjjie ;)
Congrats on the sponsor @Havenotats ! Are you a Cineon or PrintFilm type of guy? I've been leaning more towards printfilm lately but your less contrast look is making me debate
I've been using Cineon almost exclusively
I just like the colour palette & contrast it has ~
thank you great tips
👊🏼
hohoho awasome brazilian music bro! Hugs from brazil 🇧🇷
I love it!
pensei que eu era o unico br aqui ksksksks
love your colour grades
That fisheye lens was amazing !may ask which one your using?
@@businessedition5373 on mine?
what are your export settings for instagram? your videos always look so good! not only the colors/composition but the quality too!
I exports as 1080 x 1920!
Insta uploads it as that, so rather than making it compress my files, I just export it as it should be.
I know a lot of people export their files in 4k timelines though ~
Great video, thanks a lot! and I wish you more followers, trips and content! Could I ask about first beat in this video?:) it's so good)
Thank you!
The first track is called "On Ten - Katori walker"
huge sponsor!
This is great! Thanks for doing this. It’s really helpful.
Question. You film in log then color correct THEN color grade, yes?
@@jeffsimone yeah, I had the same question, would make sense 🤔
@@davidcallow Just getting into filming in log and color grading - learning that there are specific settings to film in log as well. It's a lot to learn but fun at the same time
Yep!
I film in Sony Slog3 for my footage and then grade it.
4:47 out of nowhere a brazilian song hahaha, my mind crashed for a moment! It is my mother language and I thought I was hearing things 😂
❤️
hey!! i love the look of all of the shots in this- what kind of fisheye lens(s) are you using? im wanting to invest in one for my videos and love the look of your really wide shots
Thank you !
It's the sony 10-18 f4 lens
Not a fish eye lens but It has that look when you use it on a full frame camera~
@@Havenotats ohhh thats so cool! sweet thank you!!
Nice vibe 🍃🍃
Friend,In your videos, do you use your camera in color cinetone mode? Or record in Slog?
Slog3 for everything!
Samedt coffee is life. ❤❤❤
big boy sponsor lets GOOO!!
Let's goo!
oh my
Extraordinary 🎉
👊🏼
Thank you for the shoutout!!!!
My Bro!!!!! ❤️
Hey dear! Thanks for the tips and insights. What's the font you're using on your thumbnails?
Hand written!
thanks for sharing these amazing tips and tricks! Took bunch notes hahaha
would you mind if I ask how you create that look in the beginning?(that hole in the middle, almost like fish eye but not..)
I'm wondering if it's a physical thing or is it something to do with editing? thanks in advance!
Thank you!
The fisheye look you are talking about is the lens (Sony 10-28 F4) on my full frame camera.
Gives a cool effect right?
@@Havenotats that's so cool! thanks for sharing! looking for another video! :) enjoy summer!
this is an amazing video super super helpful!!
also you look like if haroumi hosono had a handsome son ok bye
Ahahahaha thank you ~
Where did he get that calendar that is cool i want it
Five metal workshop!
Fisheye lens was amazing may I ask what you used?
10-18mm f4 by sony!
I have a question, I've been looking for a while and still don't have answer, what are the dark corners when using wide lenses and how do you get them because it's something I've been trying to figure out and want to use.
what kind of calendar do you have its so pretty o:
It's from five metal workshop!
Last thumbnail was better
What color profile do you use for the A7C ? realllyy lovee the colorss btw
slog3!
How do you get the Lens Vignette at the start? What camera & lens are you using if you could let me know?
It's an in camera effect!
using the Sony 10-18mm f4 lens on a full frame body!
What’s the background music?
Hi, what's the riser sfx name in 0:11
What font is used for the thumbnail cover? It's nice!
Hand written!
I can grade a single image as I like it. However, I struggle to keep the grade consistent throughout the video, especially when shooting in various lighting situations.
Ahh yeah
I try to keep an eye on my white balance when shooting in different conditions!
Do you color grade before cutting all your clips? Do you need to readjust for each clip, or do you generally copy and paste the same adjustments from the first clip to the second? :)
Usually I grade 1 clip and copy it over and adjust it to look similar!
Great vid, are you Aus?
Vid answered my question tehe. Cool stuff man!
what filter do you use in davinci to go along with the contrast, curve etc etc?
Usually that’s it!
I add a bit of halation to an image if I think it suits it!
Love the tips! But you won me over with Brazilian music
❤️
Do you use mist filters to help with the soft look or DaVinci does it all?
All in Davinci!
I don't really shoot with filters anymore ~
man i always wonder if you actually write the words on your thumbnails using ipad or is they any specific font? thank you.
I draw them on an Ipad!
Nice video
🙏🏼
woooohoooooo
Yayayay
Amazing… is it worth colour grading footage that’s filmed in auto setting, or do we have to switch to d-log and live in the grey grey world 😅
Completely up to you!
You can definitely work with the auto setting footage but if you want to push your colours & exposure you'll have to live in the greeeeyy world ~
@@Havenotats thanks bro 👍
What camera and color profile are you using?
Sony A7Cii and shooting in Slog3!
gente nem eu conheço essa musica Br
