  • So I made a video about adding Film Halation and Bloom to your videos in Premiere Pro a while ago: and it's the most viewed video on the channel... but I wouldn't say I like it and wish I could have made it more professionally. So that's what today's video is.
    UPDATED VIDEO: • Is Halation Better in ...
    I just want to make things clear. This channel is not just a place where I throw my knowledge at you. It's also a cool spot where we can talk and exchange ideas.
    I'm not perfect, but I do my best to know my stuff when it comes to films. My insights are helpful (I believe), and I'll keep giving you accurate info. Your ideas matter too, they help me grow and do better.
    Thanks for watching, and if you've made it this far, I appreciate your time!

    I'm from Brazil and your videos are awesome! I would like to know how to leave this effect that was left in your image in this video. I tried following the steps but when I use a layer of lut color it looks bad.

    • @Trentorials
      @Trentorials  5 дней назад

      @@siderluz what do you mean? This video shows you how to add the effect!? What effect do you refer to?

  • @smlc4407

    Nice video, quick question. Why am I not getting anything while using cut off and threshold at 83 and 88? I'm having to use cut off at 65 or 70. is it a problem with my color grade?

    • @Trentorials
      @Trentorials  2 месяца назад +1

      I’m not exactly sure what the problem would be, but make sure that the adjustment lawyer only has this effect applied to it. Don’t combine other effects on the adjustment layer with the luma key and Gaussian blur

  • @pierre.breckler
    @pierre.breckler Месяц назад

    Thanks for your video ! I just have a question, when I apply the channel blur effect on my layer with the same setting as you my image turn flat again... it's a bug ?

    • @Trentorials
      @Trentorials  Месяц назад

      Did you make sure you only apply a channel blur to an adjustment layer? There should be no flat image effects being changed… not sure what you mean exactly

    so you have to go in clip by clip and add the effect? way to do apply to a whole escene ? with 10 to differente camera angles

    • @Trentorials
      @Trentorials  Месяц назад +1

      Select every clip at once by clicking and dragging. Then just pulled alt and drag all the them up at once. From there while applying the settings of the effect to one clip then copy those and click and highlight all of the other clips you want to add it to then paste the effects. This way you don’t actually have to click each one.

    Can you explain why you lowered the threshold to 88% instead of keeping it at 100%... and thank you for sharing your knowledge.

    • @Trentorials
      @Trentorials  2 месяца назад

      it acts as a mask. It works with the color channels of the video to identify the highlighted areas or bright section of the video, and then the amount on the threshold that you set, is telling premier that only 88% of that data should be covered. Hard to explain in words, but I hope this helps a little bit
