That's kinda the whole idea of Deadpool and had been for like 30yrs. Deadpool 2 starts with him attempting to explode himself. laughing is okay. If you gotta be quiet and treat a comedy movie like a serious film then I don't think you understand anything about this character or movie

Have you realized how the music is cut when Wolverine does his speech? A subliminal help to reinforce his words and makes it better because nothing distracts your mind from one of the best scenes of the movie (I don't forget Cassandra/Wolverine talk inside his mind). Only Hugh Jackman could say something like that with the deep required to sound shocking, dramatical and awesome at the same time. This man is a legend.

Yeah Hugh could’ve sleepwalked through this movie and it still would’ve made bank as long as he put on the mask. But I’m thankful he put in such a great performance, he took his return seriously. This scene is arguably the best in the movie because it’s a wake up call to Wade and shows the human side of these superheroes. Ryan wrote this monologue showing he knows what would affect Wade the most, how Logan would tear him down, and what would be a turning point in their dynamic. It’s so good!

Watching this in theaters was an experience. Hearing the audience go from laughing to a slow groan, and then silence as they realized how honest Logan was being. Infuckincredible.
