Wolverine: The only person able to make Deadpool speechless. But in all seriousness, Hugh knocked it out of the park with the acting in this film. His quiet, depressing moments, his angry tirades... he was just next level.
The more I watch reactions of this scene or the movie as a whole, the more I feel Hugh deserves at least award nominations for this movie. Just take: This scene The scene where he talks to X23 about his X-Men dying The scene where he opens up to Cassandra about his killing spree and wanting to be the man Charles thought he was Trying to appeal to Cassandra’s good side The final sacrifice scene where he says he’s PROUD to wear the suit and that he’s THE X-Man 😢
Hugh Jackman is such a phenomenal actor. He could easily have phoned it in for this film if he wanted, but he really brought his A-Game in every scene. And this monologue in particular is maybe the most rage filled delivery he's given in more than 20 years playing this consistently grumpy character. Nobody's going to win an Oscar for this film, but damn if Jackman wasn't acting his balls out in some of the scenes in this film!
It's crazy how much Hugh went off in that scene. I wasn't expecting that in a Deadpool movie of all things. That goes to show how amazing of an actor Hugh Jackman is at playing Wolverine. That rant cut Wade deeper than even Logan's claws could. Also... *gubernatorial*
Hugh deserves a damn award for this scene alone. You could feel how mad Wolverine was at Deadpool. He made you feel sad for Deadpool and pissed at him, but he told it like it was.
Because most of them are simply movie fans, not X-men fans. They only care about what's specifically in the movies and don't really interact with the fanbase *at all* so they really don't know a lot about *so many* characters😂

Sometimes in movies like these (fun, silly and entertaining) you forget just how brilliant of an actor Hugh really is. This scene was brilliant.

This scene was the highlight of the movie, easily my favorite part.
The best reactions were the ones where they picked up the "IF" before Logan asked Deadpool to repeat himself.
