Quite frankly I would be very happy to see Cavill in the role. Hugh Jackman played the character amazingly. But let's look at this from a different point of view. Hollywood execs are basically morons. They shot Cavill down for the X-Men movies back in 09. Now Jackman is amazing for the role. And that itself deserves points. But keep in mind that Cavill is a comic book fan. So is Ryan Reynolds and look what he did with Deadpool's IP. But the biggest hit came from The Witcher franchise. Henry is the perfect Geralt. But after season three studio execs got mad because Henry wanted to stick to the original stories. And there is established lore that the execs tried to ignore. Cavill was fired from the role because he refused to abandon established lore. Studio executives are the biggest idiots on planet earth because they can't see past money. They wanted to turn THE WITCHER! into a fucking monster of the week procedural. They only see money. Idiotic morons. And now the newest seasons will be led by one of the 2020's versions of the Baldwin's.
@@galerios1yeah Liam Hemsworth sucks. He's nowhere near as talented or as popular as his brother Chris. After it was announced that Henry was no longer going to be Geralt, I told my husband that I was no longer interested. I've never read the books, but Henry has and I trust him to get the role right. So Netflix f--ked up big time.
@@darkangel_1978 I won't say Liam sucks. I think he's a decent actor in his own right. But I definitely disagree with the recast, especially because it was an executive decision based solely on the fact that Caville wouldn't do what they wanted because he wanted to follow the books. Studio execs do nothing but fuck up. And Cavill knew it.
Hugh was the reason I got into the X-Men. To see him angry on top of the Statue of Liberty in the trailer, I wanted so bad to see what he was angry about. After that, I was a fan. 25 years later, and I have no regrets. My 7 year old daughter just loves him. Now if he were to retire again from playing Wolverine, I would be okay with Henry Cavill stepping in.
The moral of the story: make the Cavillrine a reality now, and treat Henry right.
Sucks almost no one realizes who Age of Apocalypse Wolverine is.
Which one?
@@AliAlexRG One handed Wolverine
Majority of marvel movie fans today are just that.
Soo true! And patch too
Worse is that no one equated Short King with a Puck (Alpha Flight) reference... Wait. That's just me. Sorry.
I think what this shows is that if they replaced Hugh Jackman with Henry Cavill fans would be happy still.

I know I would be fine with it, and I love Hugh Jackman. But if he were to retire again, Henry is a fantastic replacement for me.

"Escape from New York Wolverine"?! Dudes, that was Age of Apocalypse Wolverine! In the comics, he loses his hand in a fight with Cyclops
In their defense, Weapon Omega does look a lot like Snake Plissken.
I can't believe so many comic book movie fans don't know the different comic book versions of Wolverine, I mean open a book once in awhile.
Thanks for the video. I enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it!✨
