@@chynne33 The first two Blade movies are must own flicks. I bought Blade on 4k ultra blu-ray last year. It's amazing visuals and sounds. It's one of the better physical releases for presenting 4k blu-ray. 90s movies are far superior to today's cinema.
It hurts sometimes when people dont know gambit by the iconic outfit that channing tatum wore and have to wait till he says who he is and it hurts even more when knowing people know of blade but never seen the movies. Also the way the music went when blade walked in it was so very chilling and awesome
@@Dimples4dayz her returning was awesome. Im hoping people that were surprised by some of the cameos in this movie, get a chance to go see those old movies the characters was in, I think for me the only bad part of the Elektra movie was the writing and story telling of it
Some tried to figure out Tatum's accent. I let them know that Tatum's father is of Cajun Heritage. Most of Cajuns lives in Louisiana, Mississippi plus Tatum's home state of Alabama do speak with thick Cajun accent. I know a few who talks like Tatum's Gambit.
Tatum's Gambit was in development hell before Disney/Marvel took over 20th Century Fox. I think Disney is either put on hold or cancel Gambit project. But now, I think Ryan with Shawn Levy (director) and Tatum pitch the idea on putting Gambit back on as a standalone movie.
He even introduced himself as Le Diabol Blanc "the White Devil", but Americans, so few of us still learn French in school. 😢😂 Yo busy saying: Why is he talking like that
25:36 Channing's accent is exaggerated, like that deep woods Cajun, but in that regard it is spot on. The lady with the midwest accent shouldn't be talking crap about an accent she has only probably heard in other movies, and as such is super toned down. The Cajun Chef WAS cajun, but he was speaking to a broad audience. Channing erred on the side of incomprehensible, but if you aren't used to it, that IS what talking to a cajun is like. Channing was like the guy in Hot Fuzz with the super thick northern accent, that had to be interpreted by a guy with a less thick one, and finally by Danny.
Everybody deserves a second chance. Or, in case of Channing Tatum, a first chance. Blade, Elektra, in the name of all the people from the 90s and early 2000s we loved you, thanks to come back. And thanks Deadpool to put the things right.
They started considering Channing Tatum as Gambit as early as 2005 - and he would do a Gambit film in a heartbeat. Just because he dies here doesn't mean he has to stay dead.
Yea. These are newer fans. Give them time to catch up. They are used to the current glossy marvel movies. Blade opening scene is gonna blow their minds!!!!
So many people had an issue with Tatum's accent, (110% accurate BTW!) that they missed the REAL Easter Egg - Channing must be a fan of Dolomite, himself as his self described birth..? was EXACTLY like Petey Wheatstraw's in The Devil's Son-in-law! 😈 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣✌🏼
I love that they brought Jennifer Garner, Channing Tatum, and Weasley Snipe, but when they played the song from Logan and Laura appeared my heart broke
Best MCU movie made so far! And I’m goin to have to say again in another comment that everyone sayin Channing’s accent was bad is completely ignorant of Real Cajun culture. Born and raised in South Louisiana swamps and I can say without a doubt that it was 100% on point. And yes you can read this comment in his voice, you’re welcome.
you know. when you see grown up men in tears to see X23 or see women shouting "Blade".. you know that Disney made a fcking awesome movie. or Ryan did a movie and thx Disney for letting him do that. this movie is one of a kind, no other like this and i think its in the top three in MCU and for geeks, nerds, comicbook lovers etc its THE movie.. 😂
We definitely need a Channing Tatum as Gambit movie. Those rumors first came out almost 20 years ago - and he would be perfect and is absolutely dying to do this.
How have some of these reactors never seen Blade or Elektra? I don't know, maybe because I was already alive when those movies came out but geez. It's like they're reading the last few chapters of a book but not the beginning and middle. At any rate, Ryan Reynolds is the GOAT for bringing these characters in. Channing Tatum has been trying to get a Gambit movie for practically his whole career. I love that Ryan just called Wesley up and asked if he wanted to bring back Blade one more time. Elektra was a surprise for me though and I love it because I actually enjoyed her movie. Such fun reactions, though some of them really need to watch Blade to really understand. It's like seeing all the Spidermans together in No Way Home. It's exactly what these studios should be doing by "fan service". 😎👍
All great cameos. But they weren’t just cameos, each integral to film. But love Daphne keen and Hugh Jackman together again. Laura helped save Wolvie here in a way. Her looks, and stares at Logan speak volumes. Their camp fire talk, is great. Laura is older, wiser now. She knows Logan’s sacrifice, and how he came through when needed. She senses that in Wolvie here. She gets to him with her comment “ you were always the wrong guy, till you weren’t”. He winds up helping them, then helping Wade save the world, all timelines. He then feels like an X man, the X man.
My grade school french was in the jurassic, but Channing clearly introduces himself as Le Diablo Blanc The Whote Devil, but folks are so busy laighing they missed it.
Are you serious Alex? You've never seen the Blade movies? Dude are you for real? Oh my sweet buttery jesus.......mate WATCH those Blade movies trust me you wont be disappointed........plus Gambit was in X-Men Origins You have watched all the X-Men movies right?
You can find debit in many many many many many many X-Men movies he's in the original X-Men X-Men animated series X-Men evolution and he's also in X-Men 97 is also in the X-Men comics
All of this was spoiled for me by thumbnails, titles, and headlines days before the movie was released. I'm not sure how so many reactors managed to avoid everything.

Thank you Wesley Snipes for making the MCU possible.
He got things up and running for marvel, set a pace for them to catch

Actually Howard the duck. But that flopped.
Blade showed up and I and a few others in the cinema stood and applauded. Great moment.
I've been a fan of Wesley Snipes since 1986.
Its complete sacrilege how many never saw Blade.
They are bandwagon fans of the new Aquaman Thor generation with beautiful hair in the wind
I still have my Blade VHS. Those girls from the third reaction who didn't even know who Wesley was, let alone Blade, just gave me the biggest headache
