Not really a surprise
Dual powertrain = dual risk.
As such, an EV only poses fire risk from punctured battery due to sharp object damaging it or due to overheating
ICE car also main engine heating is the cause powertrain wise (since all other parts are common and carry same risk)
In hybrid you have risk of both so naturally, the chances of fire is from both types ie engine heat as well as battery damage.
Worse if you have battery near engine or exhaust which is hot

Whatever you said is absolutely perfect. Any ways it not actually worth going 1 model down and then putting aftermarket accessories. At the end rear wiper and defogger or start stop can’t be done outside. So you still lose.

For a petrol car, always check that your fume collector is properly connected, especially after a service. It is sometimes left open by careless technicians, even in authorized service points. Open fume collector can lead to fire in petrol cars.

This is a bit like radio water. Turns out to be radiator. Many many years ago I was taught this gem in a driving school. The catalytic converter is generally not dismantled and serviced in periodic maintenance. High temperature part.

I would even suggest even not to change tyre as well, coz tyre size given by manufacturer is also best of handling and breaking. The best example is of 20-22 inches aftermarket alloy wheels on Thar and Scorpio.

Mai kuch he logo ke reviews and discussion dekhta hu overall on all topics.

Make a video on basic features which one should look for. Don't generalise it like it should have saftey (or something like that). Make it more detailed like if a car doesn't have something like wireless charging then it is okay but it defenitly should have x numbers of airbags or should at least have wire apple carplay or andriod auto. Something around those lines. Features that are important or should be looked at and are not a luxary.

You should make videos on topics like charging infrastructure for EVs, Services by EV manufacturers, how to look for charging stations effectively and most importantly as a prominent moto YT channel you should question companies regarding these problems as well.

Not really - all are. Because it’s majorly the electrical wires that catch fire.

I am using a 70mai dashcam and to enable parking surveillance I had to connect the wire (hardwire kit) to the fuse box by wrapping the wire to the stem of the fuse. I haven't changed any fuse that was provided from the factory. Is this safe? If not, what is the alternative solution?
The easiest is to add it to a USB socket permanently. However it boils down to who has done it and how.
@@motoroctane Thank you for replying! Parking surveillance will not work when connected to USB socket because when the car is turned off, the usb will not get power. For parking surveillance dashcam needs power even when the car is off.
