It's a game-changer, and not only for the distortion it causes. I'll use it ever so subtly on clean percussive instruments, just before I start hearing the distortion, to get a little more loudness of of the drums. For me, it's a must-have for music production, mixing, and even mastering!

@@seigeinc I've been thinking of doing a series called something like "Why I Dig X Gear" while the channel is still small, where I talk about the tools I love using in greater detail. The StandardCLIP could be a great first episode!
