Just a small note I wanted to share. This is the full demo on Nintendo Switch, which is the entire Prologue of the story. However, the demo that's available on PS4 (playable on PS5) has the Prologue and the first chapter. Both will share data to continue progress into the full game once it's released, on their respective platform. So if you'd like a deeper head start before release, PS4 will be your choice. Enjoy!

Don't know if there's anything else in the demo, but missed out on an opportunity of getting 2 SP on the train.

I thought Agnes was pronounced in the English way.....Didn't realize it was actually French
1:31:45 The way Bermotti talks here seems to imply that he's a homosexual which wasn't the case at all in the Japanese version.
For starters, in the Japanese version he doesn't say "Hello, handsome" to Van, he only says "Welcome".
Secondly, Bermotti calls Agnes a "cutie client" in the Japanese version which this version removes this completely and he just says "that girl must be your client".
Also in the Japanese version Van makes the point that Bermotti "saw right behind him" implying that the moment he entered with Agnes, Bermotti noticed her.
Also when Bermotti says he has a "special relationship" with Van, Agnes doesn't ask "You have a boyfriend?", she only askes a rhetoric "Special...?" question in response to it.

Nope. Daybreak features all new cast (with one exception) of playable characters.
Correct and while Japan is getting a 3rd GAME soon Falcom current NEVER mentioned Carry over bonus's FROM the these first 2 games TO the 3rd one.
Should I get Steam or Switch version
Nintendo Switch 2 version in 2025
get the steam version if you have steam deck. It would be way cheaper and have better graphics.

Such as
Legend of Heroes Trails to Zero and Azure
Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel III & IV
Legend of Heroes Trails into Reverie
The rest of the series I had was on my Steam
@@mitsuki7212 i have cs 3 and cs4 on the switch and I regretted getting them there. It looks very bad, blurry, locked to 30fps and sometimes drops lower, long load times and the game freezes and crashes at times. I don't understand how they could've ported those games so lazily and badly and got away with it. the graphics aren't even that demanding. It made me get reverie on the deck and it was a night and day difference.

Played both demos on PS5/Switch. I don't know if you played Reverie on the switch but it was laggy and slow. Daybreak seems like a much better port on the switch compared to Reverie. Obviously for best performance youd want it on PC/PS5
However Very easy/Easy mode High speed mode on and if you manually SKIP all the cutscenes that it doesn't even TAKE 1 HOUR to END the PS4/PS5 DEMO at all.
Maybe but doesn't that defeat the point of playing the legend of heroes series . It's a story driven game which is told in its combat dialogue and cutscenes. Be kinda boring to skip through everything
The prologue alone is better than cs4 in it's entirety in my opinion.
