As a kid I wanted to play guitar because of Green day. I learned to play with long straps because i thought he had one. But in 1998 i played his guitar “blue” the BJ strat copy. I was surprised the strap was normal length, billie is just short. I won’t buy this guitar, but I do like it.

I mean Green Day are known for letting people play with them on stage but Billie usually has like some sort of cheap Squier Tele that he gives these people and afterwards they get to keep it. He never really lets them play his actual guitars. At least not that I know of
I literally just picked this guitar up today after watching this video yesterday. This thing is sweet and sounds amazing!!! Oh my god and the hard case with the leopard print inside is gorgeous.
It’s very cool. I called 10 different guitar centers and drove 2.5 hours to get one today. It’s flawless. The case is absolutely fantastic and fits my les Paul standards as well.
Maybe it's my incredible bias towards Green Day and Juniors, but I can get behind this. I think he was going for the "blank canvas" look for this guitar. In his 2018 signature video he mentioned he wanted his signature to be a blank canvas, but that guitar was $1500 new. So I can get why he'd go with an affordable, plain looking guitar this time around.

We just got this guitar and it flippin RAWKS! We are big Green Day fans and a little biased, but we are having a blast playing this. The neck is chunkier than I was expecting and feels great 🤘
I was and still am a huge Green Day fan, and Billie along with Tom DeLonge were huge influences on me as a player, so much so that I modeled my Strat on Tom's Boxcar Racer guitar and a bit of Billie Joe's "Blue". So I can definitely get behind this.

Juniors are great and Epiphone have been pumping out some incredibly good guitars lately. LP Juniors are built like absolute tanks and can handle almost anything on the road.
I defo want to pick one up. I love green day and I think as a result I really like the look and vibe of the juniors. I was gonna go for the epiphone junior that has been out, but since its Billies sig and the white looks cool af, I'm gonna go for it

That's not a whole lot of tonal options. The Squier Classic Vibes still sit at $450 and a beginner would be able to squeeze way more life out of them. I just wonder who this is for? Maybe if someone just genuinely wants an LPJ but doesn't want to spend Gibson price on it?

EPIPHONES-i got the 2020 Les Paul Classic.a year later its the BEST LP i ever played man. so got the 2020 SG with the maestro. the thing is perfect. this year i got the Epiphone Dove acoustic. holy poo dude its legit. epiphone are rad dude. i still am addicted to my strat tho' Dig your channel dude. from an australian dude like you exept i gotta raise 2 teenagers. What no one is mentioning is the beautiful hard case this guitar comes in. Reason enough for me to get it today. It was the one and only that had been shipped to the store where I live. The pots are CTS, Graphtech Nut, wrap around bridge, P90 Pro pick up, decent tuners, the neck is chunky like my Harley Benton DC Junior Fat Ferris which I love, but it puts the HB to shame and I love that guitar. The over all feel of the BJA is solid and for $550.00 it’s a no brainer. I missed out on the Alex Lifeson Les Paul, so I pulled the trigger before they sell out and you have pay more. Billy Joe Armstrong is no Edie Van Halen, no crazy solos, or acrobatics but great solid chunky riffs that almost everyone knows. In any song and any language, you know that rhythm guitar you hear on that Green Day song is Billy Joe Armstrong’s.
Looks great! But other than the fancy case and cool white finish I’m curious what does this have over the regular epiphone LP Jr.? Would have loved if they offered this with an ebony fretboard like the original Gibson signatures. Don’t often see juniors with an ebony board and would really differentiate this.
I remember back when he released the Gibson version of this guitar back in 2008 when I first started playing guitar as a middle schooler, I wanted it so bad, I’m definitely picking up this bad boy just to hush the screaming teenager inside of me, it comes with the leopard print hard case and everything!!
I got it this morning, its very nice. I like the simple design. I got the player kit with the amp. The signiture isnt on the neck, but on the gig bag. (I got the player pack so i could give my brother the practice amp cuz he doesnt have one)
I suppose the way you can look at this guitar is that you can either be playing in your bedroom or in big arenas with it.I would not bother much about the looks or sounds I think you can pretty much do whichever mod you want nowadays that's the whole point...I mean we are talking about punk music here! As much as we all love top specs there's plenty of guitarists who like simple guitars... not everybody is into djent or low tuning if you know what I mean!
I like the minimalist vibe it has going on. I’m biased cus I’m a massive Green Day fan haha but I’d also argue that the Jim Root signatures are very plain as well!

You should get one. A lot of well known players only played these simple guitars. In my own personal experience the simple guitar will force you to learn to play in different ways. Could be bad but who knows? I wonder why Leslie West played these things?
I considered getting it since its 550$ and comes with a case but I barely got the JB Lazarus Maybe if it’s still out next year and nothing cool comes out till then
The Jared guitars are worth the asking price. But this guitar is there rip off model cause you are just paying for the name. Just spend the $199 for the Epiphone Jr and buy all the usual replacement parts.

if i didnt just buy a les paul a few months ago i'd be on this in a heartbeat. the OG gibson model goes for crazy high amounts on reverb.

Have you checked out the Epiphone limited edition 1959 LP my favorite so far in the Epiphone line up with Gibson pickups.

I like it cause I like LP junior’s but it has the same spec’s as the normal Junior from Epiphone and that one cost less
