Absolutely. Even if it means a career change needs to happen or to go from a lot of money to just making it. Money will always come and go but it’s so worth it to put everything else on the back burner for our children if that’s what we have to do.

It’s possible that sadly there’s not enough actual “proof” of the bullying, just a he said/she said ordeal which isn’t enough, cause there could be “false” reports. Like when I was in school, we had one girl that rode the school bus that was a only a couple of years younger than me kept trying to make false bullying reports on other students that she hated, from saying that was name calling, all the way up to hitting, when they reviewed video from the bus they could easily tell she was lying, she did the same in school as well with false reports and her (the false report girls) mom was pissed cause they wouldn’t suspend the people her daughter reported due to the daughter lies, and mom wanted the kids suspended anyway and wanted the school officials to just take the words of he daughter. So that could a reason due to no actual proof or enough proof. The main thing they could do is keep a closer eye on the kid until they noticed actual bullying going on.

My school district has never and will never do anything about bullying. I plan to homeschool my kids as I can’t afford private. The school should be held accountable for this poor boys suicide.

In my country here, Thailand about a few months ago, a teenager about 15 with his friends beat up a local woman who was walking, eventually she died or something and others tried to help but did not work. The most sickening thing about this incident is that the kid nor his parents were charged of committing any crime because of their ranks and connection in the police department and politics.

They did everything they could do given the situation they were in. 2. Why would you NOT hold the parents of the bullies responsible for what happened as well as the school? Like I said, after 20+ calls there is no excuse for your kids continuing this behavior. As a parent that is one of your jobs. To stop them from behavior like this. Whether you realize it or not, failing to inform your child that it’s not okay to do things like this is in essence telling them that it is okay. Failure to hold your child accountable is in essence telling them that the behavior is okay. The school had a duty to protect that child from this. At the very least they could have sat the bullies down with their parents and told them after us warning you 20 TIMES AND IT NOT DOING ANYTHING TO REMEDY THE SITUATION OTHER THAN MAKE IT WORSE, we will have to expel you from our school because your behavior does not align with our core values and student safety policies. At the very least this is what should have happened. We pulled my daughter out of the school she was in because of bullying. She went from loving school to not wanting to go. A girl who didn't like my daughter used her mother's death as a means to bully her. She would run to the teachers and principal claiming mine had said things to her about her mother being an addict and ODing. They would never question or investigate to see if her claims were true. They just automatically took her side and punished my daughter. We got sick of trying to do anything because the girl had family members who worked at the school and they took part in targeting my daughter also. I was to the point I was ready to beat some ass!🤬 I kept my head and just moved her to another school. She has since flourished and is doing well in school.
The accusations were ridiculous considering that I am in recovery and my youngest sister died from overdose. My daughter knows what addiction does and would never have done what she is accused of. If both parents work full time then put the kid on distance learning from home, he does NOT have to go to school. I used to get bullied by one girl everyday when I was in 2nd grade. My mum repeatedly made calls to my teacher AND requested to meet with the principal/admin, but she was met with, "*girl's name* has ADD/ADHD so she acts differently."
Schools always emphasize the importance of resolving issues through communication or asking adults, but it's all bullshit. The only way I got her to leave me alone was when I finally hit her back. Of course, I was the one who got in trouble for 'reacting' and had to call my mum, who told me she was proud of me and bit the principal's face off LOLLL unfortunately the only way to stop a bully is to hit them back.
