This story shows why so many people struggle so much. Many don’t get a village of support when life knocks them down, unfortunately. I wish this type of love for all people.
I personally experienced this kind of community outpouring of love & support in 2011 when my husband was in a tragic accident. I asked that same question: "Is this how everyone gets treated when tragedy strikes?" I learned that sadly the answer is no. Some people do not. I also learned it has a LOT to do with where you live & how involved the recipients have been in the community. Many ppl told me," it is very easy to give back to a family that has given so much. " So I'm guessing these parents and her sisters family were probably very special.
Exactly! I can't get housing after losing everything after a breast cancer diagnosis. I'm in Washington, DC! My kids and I stay in a hotel. I see immigrants receive housing before my kids and me. I work everyday but can't get housing due to an eviction.
It breaks my heart to hear this. I try and help every single person in need, in whatever way I can. I honestly wish I were rich, because I would use my fortune to take care of other people. Can I ask- have you called social services or local housing authorities to ask about your situation? Have you tried contacting any big church communities in your area? They often have some resources. Don't give up!! I promise things can and will get better. I know it must be so hard right now, but if you just hold on and keep doing your best and give love to your children, things will improve. I was once in a situation over a decade ago, where I was basically homeless and did not see a way to have a future. It was just darkness. But. I held on and kept doing the things that I could do, one step at a time. And it took a LONG time, but each day my circumstances improved a little. And I dealt with new obstacles all the time, but conquered each one. And now, today, while life is not "perfect"-- I do have a beautiful cozy apartment, the car of my dreams, a wonderful career as a college professor, and a loving family. Again, I wish I had financial means to help you (and many others), but if you would like, the best I can do from here is to research and try to find some resources for you to deal with this housing situation? If that would be helpful for you just let me know and we can get in touch through email or something. I don't have all the answers, but I am quite good at navigating and locating resources for people in need. My sister works in ministry as well and non profit organizations, so she also has a wealth of knowledge on finding assistance for people. Either way, I am wishing you and your children a beautiful and blessed Christmas 🎄 ✨ and I hope and pray that things get better for you. And this is why family & friends are so important. Three children lost their parents and family was there to embrace them. Family does not have to be blood. You can build a family from bond. A group of people looking out for each other.
Thank god for the aunt and uncle --wonderful wonderful couple to take in the children thank you God! May they continue to be well , healthy and happy. Devastating situation but they turned it around!!!!!
I cried the whole video. It's sad that they both died but was just as important is that the sister and her husband stepped in and took these children in and it will forever be loved. My husband I had an undiagnosed heart problem and he went to bed and didn't wake up after 25 years of being my best friend and being together and it was just so unexpected, it's been a yr and everyday it hurts.
Wow. Uhh, crying big tears for this family...goodness, this really got to me. I guess because I came so close to losing my daughter this time last year, spending months caring for her and her children, all just a year after losing my Mom and two years after losing my Dad. I understand that overwhelming grief. Too much all at once.
I loved when he said that" everything comes in pairs now" 🤍 What a truly wonderful story ... although it isn't a story as such ... it's actual fact . Those children will be so lovingly cared for ... I also love the way she referred to the new family as "the cousin bunch" as it was so immediately inclusive from day one of their new lives . Please God keep them strong and help the little dog adjust too . 🕊️
God protect this family. May they have longevity of life. We don't know when we are gonna go and life is so fragile, but just live in every moment. Beautiful story...
Ok I’m seriously bawling , I can physically feel her grief 😢. What an amazing woman . She lost her sister which is so huge in itself . Just trying to grieve that is a Mountain. Then taking on 3 more children, ( I would do the same and never blink an eye ) . Her Husband is a hero as well . Sounds like her poor sister died of heartbreak. I frequently hear of spouses having sudden heart issues and passing shortly after their loved one. This is tragic but really shows the perseverance a family can make despite so many difficulties. I’m so glad the kids are with family and are able to articulate their feelings to the most important people they now have. Beautiful

This is so heartbreaking. I can’t imagine their loss just unbelievable. Life can be so cruel. What amazing hearts her sister and husband have to take in their children. They are grieving their own loss and physical ailments. Having to deal with the unbelievable diagnosis of his cancer then passing at such a young age then his healthy wife passing suddenly how so awful!

I have no idea why I thought that it would be a good idea to watch this on Christmas, but hear I am - a blubbering mess! Lol. This family is so lovely. I’m hoping easier times are ahead of them, they’ve been through so much, in such a short period of time! I’m glad the community has stepped up to help them in every way they can! ❤️❤️
This is when people stand up and give part of their heart and those people in return are gifted with far more than they gave. . Just like a circle of life there is a circle of love. When you are given the chance to step up and give that part of your self no matter how large or small, the reward is amazing to all. THE CIRCLE IF LOVE ,what a beautiful gift God has given us .
My heart goes out to these kids... Thank goodness for good family members and a wonderful community. I love how much all the cousins look so much alike... I wish them the best of luck with their health. Gratitude... Love those around you.

Oh my gosh,I’m in tears 😢. Their story is sad but at the same time beautiful. They said Megan had an unknown condition but she probably died of a broken heart 💔 . May God continue to bless this family🙏🏽❤️
This is Krista (the one in the story). Megan had undiagnosed heart disease from prolonged hypertension (high BP) - we didn't have the autopsy report yet when they did the story. My cardiologist is pretty certain she also had LQTS Type 5 like me, so that meant she should've avoided a lot of OTC meds that she was taking, like Benadryl. It was probably a myriad of things that made her heart stop that day. 😢
Yeah. How many “ undiagnosed heart conditions” are we hearing about? We had an 18 year old healthy college student on my block die during the night of cardiac arrest. And one week prior she bragged on social media about being “ smart” about getting the Vax. When everyone knows two or three young people who die of sudden cardiac events will they start to connect the dots?!?
That's exactly what I said, The broken heart syndrome is real! After my 16 year old was murdered (2008) The 1st time I ever had to go in an ambulance) The EMT stated that was what I was experiencing) So heartbreaking ~🙏🏾🙏🏽🙏🏿🕯️🕯️
@@jennynevins6329 Exactly. You don't go 40 years with a serious heart condition "undiagnosed." It was a combination of the jabstab and stress. The jabstab caused the damage in her heart and the stress caused the weakness. Extreme stress is so damaging it can cause autoimmune diseases which is what happened to her husband. Not to mention deaths of all kinds are up buy a styrene 40%. But hey, let's all hide our heads in the sand and pretend the jabstab has nothing to do with it

Can you imagine what a burden on the sister? Not only is she already a mom of three which is such a tough task then she has to go through her own grief of losing her brother in law and then sister so unfair. She didn’t have to take on three more kids that is very difficult and no one would have blamed her
@@samanthasmith4038 Yeah I understand your point of view, people are saying that’s what she should have done but she also took on a massive burden of 3 additional children their grief on top of her own children and grief.

This is Krista, the one in the story. I agree 100%. My sister didn't know she had high blood pressure. She probably had it for months, maybe years and it did damage to her heart and it became electrically unstable. She also most likely had the same gene mutation I have (KCNE1, LQTS Type 5). I'm so grateful to have gotten swabbed to check for any gene mutations and getting all six kids swabbed. We know her daughter/my niece has it and know what drugs/OTC meds she needs to avoid for life. When she is older, she will most likely start on a beta blocker as well.
As a full cardiac arrest survivor at age 36 in oct 2019, this really hits home, makes you appreciate life more , and how God makes miracles thats are hidden in pain.. by losing your sister she did save your life. God bless you all
My friend's husband, very fit at 70 had a cardiac arrest 21 days ago...in public. A defib was at hand. 5 people took turns with CPR. Air lifted to ICU. Coma for a week. Then HD Cardio unit. 3 days ago, up and dressed. Talking without confusion. Uses a walker short distances. Heart check tomorrow if liver function has improved. Dr says only 1% survive this kinda thing. He was never ill except for 2 days at Christmas. We are truly shocked that people your age can suffer CA. I hope you stay well.

I cant imagine. I am in my 50's and both my parents died this year. My Mother in April and my Dad in August. I pray for all those who have lost loved ones especially for those who are too young to lost their parents.
My sincerest condolences for your losses and I thank you personally for sharing.❤️🩹🙏🏾😢 I too am unfortunately in this club as an adopted person as well. Loss my biological dad at 17, and abandoned my my biological mom, now mourning my adopted mom. The mom I never had, it’s extremely heavy the grief and sadness I currently feel. It’s not easy and at times feel lonesome, if not isolating. 😥❤️🩹😪 I feel for this family and these children amongst so many others who are mourning.💔 #GriefHurts Especially around this time of year…🎄😢🎄
Must be vaccine related illnesses
You Dad died from broken heart.
Greg and Megan are up there. Looking down and feeling proud of all of you have done, in extraordinary circumstances. God bless. From Ayrshire Scotland UK.
It’s so hard being a parent then having to be a parent of three more children while navigating your grief and all the kids grief. This should have never happened. Prayers to you
I need to complete my book on grief. This family is an example of how we deal with adversity during grief.
The parents of these kids would feel so happy knowing that their kids are so very loved, cared for, and in safe hands. ❤
Can you imagine? What a beautiful story of love… this is what life is and I’m so humbled by their journey.

What a heartbreaking story😢😢 God bless this beautiful family ❤️❤️
Life is so cruel. Praying for them all. 😢❤ what an amazing family and community.
This is the definition of family.
@gwenmotogirl Hey 👋! How are you doing today? How did your Christmas holiday go?
I cried the whole video. It's sad that they both died but was just as important is that the sister and her husband stepped in and took these children in and it will forever be loved.
My husband I had an undiagnosed heart problem and he went to bed and didn't wake up after 25 years of being my best friend and being together and it was just so unexpected, it's been a yr and everyday it hurts.
I’m so sorry u had to go through this. Sending u hugs
❤❤❤
Amen!
1 John 5:13-15
Ok I’m seriously bawling , I can physically feel her grief 😢. What an amazing woman . She lost her sister which is so huge in itself . Just trying to grieve that is a Mountain. Then taking on 3 more children, ( I would do the same and never blink an eye ) . Her Husband is a hero as well . He is dealing with his loss but also helping his Wife through grief that’s unimaginable and then stepping up and taking care of extra kids while not feeling well. I ask so many blessing’s for this Family Lord 😢❤😢❤.I lost my sister and I struggle and miss her every single day !!! Sibling love is different ❤
Thank you!
I pray and wish these nice and lovely couples to live long and healthy life, to take care of their big family. 🙏😢 Also, may they all have a great and wonderful Christmas.
This is heartwarming. I hope they all are ok.
Thank you for hoping that for them. They're dealing. They're ok.
Oh my, this one hit hard. Hugs to them! I’m so happy they have each other and the kiddos are doing well!
It is the commandment “Love your neighbor as you love yourself” in operation & it is beautiful & powerful. 🙏❤️
So sorry for the losses 🙏 And thank you for watching over these sweet children 🙏
What a fabulous twin and her husband. No hesitation and turned something so tragic into beauty.
What a beautiful family, together in love through tragedy and Hope.
Wonderful family.
God bless them all!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Man I cried watching this but proof that there's hope 🙏
So sad 😞 so Thankful they have there aunt & uncle! GOD BLESS THEM ALL! 🙏🏼🥰
What a beautiful inspiring story of hope and living life to the fullest.
LOVE.
This story had me in tears. What a beautiful story of family love and kindness. God bless them for many years to come✝️🙏✝️
@patriciakeanini6803 Hello! How are you doing today? How did your Christmas holiday go?
I really love his stories. My gosh this children are so resilient!! Prayers for continued health and healing and continue to uplift and wrap your arms around them lord
The babies look like twins. The other kids, the bigger kids, look alike too. God bless this family 💕💕💕💕
The babies are twins
So many people have SO much grief. Be kind to people. Tell your loved ones you love them. Take care of your health. Pray for this family.❤️🙏
YES!! Be kind, because we dont know what others are facing.
@@deirdremorris9234 that's for SURE. And there are So many tragic stories. And I complain or feel bad about such insignificant things. Hope YOU have a wonderful life. A belated Merry Christmas. And Happy New Year!
Wooow watching this story gave me so many emotions and when the oldest son said that he missed the little things we as humans tend to take advantage of the little things 😔 ❤😊💙🙏🙏
My Heart ❤️ and Love Go Out To This Extended Loving Family ♥️🙏🏾🙏🏾💗
God I got tears in my eyes.
Me too❤
Me too. Me too.
Me too
Right😢
Me too 😭❤
This just goes to show that life is resilient. I wish this wonderful family many years of happiness and joy.
I don't know how David does it...such a great reporter! You can tell he really cares.
This story is both 😥 😔 and inspiring. I am a New Zealander and as a nation of 5 million when things go really wrong we get through by pulling together as a nation and help one another in any way we can. It is an awesome experience and we are doing it again right now having just been slammed by a cyclone. With the support these people have ....they will get through. Lotsa love ya'll ( I just love that word)
Genetically, they're just as related to their aunt as their mom. What a wonderful family.
They would have been related even if the mother and aunt were not twins.
Beautiful
Or a mother dying right after her kid was taken due to an accident or killing or a terminal disease... 💔 💔 💔
Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is the medical diagnosis.
The mother had an undiagnosed heart condition , long qt syndrome, which her sister now found out she also has.
You didn't listen very well
Incorrect. This mother had long QT syndrome. Look it up
I'm writing through tears. This family is truly amazing. A family friend died from Long QT at age 15, and it's deadly. These folks are amazing. Love conquers all.
Lord Jesus Christ, Conquered death. Hebrews 2:14 1 John 5:13-15
What a wonderful story..we need to hear this...gives us hope...
Those kids are blessed ❤ what an amazing sister for taking in her nephews and niece 😢
GOOD BLASS THIS FAMELY
I’m glad this story was made. It had several important messages! May God continue to provide for them. And may God bless the couple for taking in their niece and nephews with so much love.
Damn this made me cry.. this is crazy beautiful! I couldn’t imagine this happening to my family and I.. but I know my family would do the same!! I love it❤
#suddenlydied Bless this family and all the people who offered them help.
You never disappoint, David. Great story. May God continues to bless you.
This is the best thing that could happen to these kids, to be with family they love and know
This is so heartbreaking.
This is beautiful, family is very important. A village is a need for us all, blood or not love and loyalty makes us family. G-d bless them all.
Omg what a tragic story 🙏🏾 So sorry for their loss 🙏🏾♥️ God Bless her sister and husband ! I was getting ready to say she needs to get her heart check ! So happy she got checked ! Beautiful story ! Sad but beautiful Thank you all ! ♥️🙏🏾
Well a lot of us do.But the lesson here is to treasure your time with family and friends. You never know what day will be your last.
Agreed
Life is fragile, tragic, unfair and if we’re lucky it’s also all the good things, blessed, happy and joyful.
Anybody else in tears…. my heart goes out to this family.
I loved the comment “if you see someone that needs help and you can offer, give a little”…. beautifully said…. a little adds up.
Yes. Constantly. They are doing okay now. I just saw all the kids recently
God bless this family. They have gone through so much. To see them in a happy and healthy home with so much love. There are happy endings! ❤
What a beautiful story of family, love, dedication, and community.
Awe. This is such a sad 😢 but a wonderful story. At the same time, these children get to be able see their mommy through their aunt. My heart ❤ and prayers are with this family.
Angels among us,bless them
Wow
Mind blowing, this is beautiful
God is good 🙏🏻 God bless this family ❤
"god is good"???
I'm sure the kids sure think so. 🙄🙄🙄
@@zimtastic1171In life, good and bad things are always happening. We can't always stop the natural order of life but God is always still there too be with us and help us especially in times of trouble. God IS always good 💙

WOW! What a great heart warming story…definitely can learn from this beautiful family of the meaning of resilience and the power of “it takes a village”.
I need more stories like this! So inspirational.
I don't like the beginning of the story but I do like the ending
I am grateful to everyone that helped this beautiful loving Family 💛
Oh my gosh,I’m in tears 😢. Their story is sad but at the same time beautiful. They said Megan had an unknown condition but she probably died of a broken heart 💔 . May God continue to bless this family🙏🏽❤️
No she actually had a heart condition her sister got diagnosed with the same thing her sister had
While she died of her condition I'm sure the stress of grief exacerbated it. So sad.
@@kris4902 😢
Their mom died from a broken heart…This is just heartbreaking
Absolutely. That poor family 🥺
or vaxx
But hey, let's all hide our heads in the sand and pretend the jabstab has nothing to do with it
Thank goodness her sister stepped up!
You figure a twin would, but at the same time, they have to see their Mom's face every day. That's gotta be tough.
@@michaelleary9233 I wondered that, too. Though, it might be a comfort to the younger ones. Either way, I hope they all heal and can have a happy life ❤️
Can you imagine what a burden on the sister? Not only is she already a mom of three which is such a tough task then she has to go through her own grief of losing her brother in law and then sister so unfair. She didn’t have to take on three more kids that is very difficult and no one would have blamed her
@@samanthasmith4038 Yeah I understand your point of view, people are saying that’s what she should have done but she also took on a massive burden of 3 additional children their grief on top of her own children and grief.
@@michaelleary9233 or a great comfort
You all needed each other and what a beautiful extended family with so much love to give each other.
Together and not separated.
So many sweet memories will be shared and made!
God Bless You All!
God bless you and your family for taking care of their kid.
You are beautiful family and you're good people sending love
Such a beautiful family. May they know nothing but happiness for the rest of their lives.
More awareness is needed for detecting heart disease in women. It's not the same as detection in men.
@@kris4902 ❤
This problem is genetic. Many do not know there is a problem until a serious episode or suddenbdeath. Its not just females
May they be healthy and strong to raise those beautiful kids and may those parents rest in peace. What a story! I'm glad they all have each other. Happy safe Holidays everyone.
Tears here (happy) this is what families do even as hard as it is! Let friends and strangers help!! God bless you All. I’m 73 and will Stop complaining!!!
God Bless these children! Henry, please be strong, make your parents proud, and keep the memories of your folks alive for your siblings.
I hope that kind of support and kindness and desire to help another person unconditionally shows many people how to do this. I live by the motto kindness is free. May all six children grow bloom and have the best life and may their parents have the best life and great health forever and a day.
How wonderful you people are , trust me I know , I was child who also lost my parents. Giving love and stability to these children will mean the world to them, they will never forget the way you all have made them feel ❤️
I am so very sorry for your loss I can’t even imagine
The greatest thing this woman and her husband did was keep this family together! This is sad but beautiful!
So beautiful❤️🙏🏾!
We don't know how lucky we are. Good luck for the future. What an amazing Auntie and Uncle raising their own children and now her sisters. A wonderful community of lovely people who help no matter what.
Beautiful family. At least the children are safe and in a warm home with people who love and adore them. ❤❤⭐⭐😘😘🧸🌹🥰
