    Their Aunt is their Mothers twin which probably warms those children's heart to see their Mom in her and makes it a tiny bit easier to see that upon waking every day. A wonderful reminder that their Mom lives on in her and them!

      I hope the children who lost their Mom & Dad don’t live in fear of losing their Aunt & Uncle too. They need to know what their care plan would be-because the kids know bad things can happen when you least expect it & sometimes bad things happen in groups of events instead of a single isolated event. May God Bless & keep this family.

      They're not identical twins and they basically just look like sisters. But luckily they were incredibly close so Greg and Megan's kids considered her twin sister Krista like a 2nd mom anyway.

      I personally experienced this kind of community outpouring of love & support in 2011 when my husband was in a tragic accident. I asked that same question: "Is this how everyone gets treated when tragedy strikes?"
      I learned that sadly the answer is no. Some people do not. I also learned it has a LOT to do with where you live & how involved the recipients have been in the community. Many ppl told me," it is very easy to give back to a family that has given so much. " So I'm guessing these parents and her sisters family were probably very special.

      Exactly! I can't get housing after losing everything after a breast cancer diagnosis. I'm in Washington, DC! My kids and I stay in a hotel. I see immigrants receive housing before my kids and me. I work everyday but can't get housing due to an eviction.

    • @SquirtlePower809
      @SquirtlePower809 Год назад +8

      It breaks my heart to hear this. I try and help every single person in need, in whatever way I can. I honestly wish I were rich, because I would use my fortune to take care of other people. Can I ask- have you called social services or local housing authorities to ask about your situation? Have you tried contacting any big church communities in your area? They often have some resources. Don't give up!! I promise things can and will get better. I know it must be so hard right now, but if you just hold on and keep doing your best and give love to your children, things will improve. I was once in a situation over a decade ago, where I was basically homeless and did not see a way to have a future. It was just darkness. But. I held on and kept doing the things that I could do, one step at a time. And it took a LONG time, but each day my circumstances improved a little. And I dealt with new obstacles all the time, but conquered each one. And now, today, while life is not "perfect"-- I do have a beautiful cozy apartment, the car of my dreams, a wonderful career as a college professor, and a loving family.
      Again, I wish I had financial means to help you (and many others), but if you would like, the best I can do from here is to research and try to find some resources for you to deal with this housing situation? If that would be helpful for you just let me know and we can get in touch through email or something. I don't have all the answers, but I am quite good at navigating and locating resources for people in need. My sister works in ministry as well and non profit organizations, so she also has a wealth of knowledge on finding assistance for people.
      Either way, I am wishing you and your children a beautiful and blessed Christmas 🎄 ✨ and I hope and pray that things get better for you. Even if I am not able to solve the problem, I pray that other people will contribute and connect with you to offer whatever help they can as well. Keep your head up, God loves you!
      Xmas blessings!

No one took us or even had a conversation about what would happen. I lived with my grandparents so I lost everything. I don't think these 2 understand what they're doing for these kids. I am 35 and had to grow up fast. I wish I had someone like them to take us and guide us. Your family is beautiful. @FreeSpirit47 Год назад +6

      @R Voit This was my thought, too. Having buried my sister, brother & mother-in-law without life insurance, it was so hard.
      It's very expensive.
      I learned to *never* tell a florist that the flowers are for a funeral.
      Life insurance is more for the survivors, than it is for the one who passes on. It relieves the financial stress, which compounds the grief, loss, deep sadness of losing a loved one.
      Businesses that are in the funeral business & connected businesses, have no mercy. They know they have their clients over a barrel.

    • @FreeSpirit47
      @FreeSpirit47 Год назад +7

      @R Voit TRUTH!
      I started my life insurance policy for myself at age 21. At age 30, I pre-paid for a funeral plan to cover the cost of everything. No one will have to go through the financial nightmare of the cost of what to do with my remains, when I pass on. But, hey, I'm the sort of person who has all of my Christmas shopping done by the end of September. When my kiddos lived in the family home, I made dinner for the next day before going to bed. We ate healthier, less expensive, much less stressful.
      If anyone doubts the wisdom of pre-planning, look up the costs of last-minute funeral & burial expenses vs pre-planned & pre-paid and how life insurance saves people from insurmountable stress.

    My mom is a twin and they share all medical info between them.
    I guess when they were very young, they spoke a special way to each other. A special language. Also when they were young children they were separated due to their mother's illness. My grandmother was in hospital for several months and her girls were housed separately. My mother lost 6 teeth during that time from wiggling them so much. I imagine a nervous reaction to not having her twin sister or her mom.
