    Great share! Any reason you would not turn the camera on its side so it records more optimal for Instagram / Shirt form type content?

      Easy! I shoot in 4k or higher and crop in. TikTok, Reels, Shorts all max out at 1080p, usually smaller, so there is no resolution lost.
      Use wider lenses to capture the height if needed.
      I want to shoot and re-use for both tall and wide formats.
      For example, this videos are shot in 8:7 format (almost square) so I'd crop about the same amount whether it's for portrait or landscape.
      Also, turning a regular camera sideways limits the compatibility with a lot of teleprompters and streaming software.
      When I shoot on my phone for reels, then it's going to be shot in portrait.
