The crush washer on the oil pan drain is an odd size on the V6 Macan due to its inner diameter. What did you use? It helps to explain the critical reason for locking the air suspension (GTS & Turbo) before lifting the vehicle. Otherwise, the air suspension will drop and cause damage. You are correct that the biggest annoyance in DIY servicing the V6 Macan is the ridiculous number of Torx screws holding the plastic belly pan. Plus the two plastic plugs can be an extra aggravation. Although you made a mess of your garage, I am glad that you demonstrated why you don't remove the oil filler cap before draining. When changing transfer case or diff fluids, I first determine that I can loosen the filler plug but I don't remove it fully until after I remove the drain plug. That slows down the fluid draining.
I don’t recall the size of the washer I used since I have a large set and just identify the matching one to the one removed. Making a mess is my daily bread on oil changes - just had another situation on my 996 last weekend! I do agree I should have perhaps spent more time expanding on the deactivation of the supension. I just realized that the o-ring from ox254 D4 is a bit smaller than the oem one. The oem one is 96x4.5mm and this one is 91x4mm. Not sure if it will leak or not, I will just buy the o-ring from the dealer to be sure.

After a few oil baths from my 911, cut a 4” hole on a oil catch and the splash stays in the pan now.

Ha! This is the one that made it through the filtering process. The RCF went cold after Carvana gave me a dog, the Stelvio was a riot but I'm just not that cool and wanted a cushier ride. So, here we are in Macan Turbo land! Will try and put a quick video together with my journey here.

It's a pain to what anyone has to do to change the oil in one of these. I hate it, but love driving my Macan Turbo.
The computer has to be used to reset the oil change notification? Is there another way if you don’t own that gadget?

What model Quick Jack is that? I am considering purchasing one.
BLX-5000 or something like that. For the Macan you'd need extenders or to buy a version that supports this wheelbase better. They have more models now than when I bought this.

Solid request. I'd like to see one myself. I had the procedure performed under warranty last year. I hear some people are now performing this fix with engine in place with new gasket and bolts. Keep your eyes peeled, there may be a video out there and/or I may be to perform if the last fix doesn't hold up.
Next time keep that oil cup closed. This will slow down oil flow and make for much cleaner job.
I am guessing that drive on ramps should be enough clearance for the service ? Thanks in Advance
For access, yes, easy. The cant will mean that some current oil won’t come out though. Flat is best.
Sloppy maintenance videos, you said it in your intro, this is what happens to me which is why you won't see me filming fluid changes.

Hey Mick and Happy New Year albeit my Mum told me that you mostly woke up to lockdown out that way? Macan is high luxe, solid and smooth. It lacks a little adrenaline that I plan on addressing with upcoming mods in next several weeks. Had to decline a Lexus RCF, a Stelvio Quadrifoglio and a Macan GTS before landing on this one! Been busy...

All locked down here but lots of muppets still running around with not a care in the world, no wonder we have quite a high mortality rate 🤬.
