This is the third Elegoo Mars 2 Pro setup I have watched since getting my mars. It is by far the best. Thank you so much for making this video. I'll be watching more of your videos while I wait for my rooks to print!
I just bought a Mars 2 Pro on Cyber Monday. Great quick video. I was pretty sure I knew how/what to do but it is great to have a short clear instructional video like this. I'm adding it to my saved videos just in case I need to refer back to it when my printer arrives. Thanks for the great content.
Great instruction. However at 1:08 leave that red sticker film on the LCD . It serves as your first screen protector. When you peeled if off and didnt replace it with a new screen protector, your LCD screen will be screwed on your first leak. Mine has been on for 3 years with no prob. Same with the elgoo saturn and Jupiter printers. Leave that film on. If you remove it you better install a new screen protector immediately.
This is the best setup video I've ever seen for anything. No excess information but you hit everything! Restarting my mars 2p after 2 years and screen replacement and needed this.
Well done. You are clear, concise, articulate, and best of all, you take the time address the little concerns beginners like myself have about how we're going to damage the printer before we even get a chance to use it. Thank you.
I got myself a Mars 2 Pro just the other day, and I’ve managed to get it up and running in barely longer than the runtime of the video! Much appreciated, this vid should be linked in their manual
Omg dude thank you so much. I’ve been trying to level my shit for weeks and nothing till this super simple video with no extra crap that ultra confusing
Thank you SO MUCH! Clear! I'm amazing To use mine!! I heard it's best to use some type of spray to prevent stinking? Like WD40 or something but not sure
I had two 3D printers: a Crality LD-002H and Elegoo Mars 2 Pro . Both printers had great reviews in RUclips and elsewhere at the time I bought them. Both printers break down after a few months of use and I was unable to fix them even with the help of the manufacturers and the replacement parts they sent me. As you have posted your review about a year ago, can you please tell me if it’s still working? Have you use it a lot? Will that printer last?
Hello I know I'm late here. I have the Mars 2. I'm also using water soluble resin. My rook keeps sticking to the FEP and not the build plate. Any tips?
i find that on mine if i set the home that tight(like in the video) the build plate fails and makes a noise like its pushing against the lcd when i start the print, i have to set the home pretty lose to have success
Are you sure the film isnt supposed to be on the plate? I took mine off and literally taking a hammer to the spatula and they aint moving, its damaging the bottom of the rook and still stuck in place
Don't be like me and accidently hit the exposure option while wiping down your printer. Ended up with letters sitting on my FEP ruining the next print run.
This video needs to be in linked in their manual. Thank you.
Thank you for being clear and concise with the instructions without any gimmicks or making this video about your personality and not about the product
Great video - less than 6 minute tutorial? Unheard of on RUclips. Thank you so much.
I just set up my first resin 3d printer (Mars 2 Pro) with this awesome guide and it is printing the rook as we speak! Thank you so much!!
atleast this guy tells the stuff we wanna know and dont make 30 mins video with random guesses how it should be. thx man

My first print failed, trying my second print now. Hopefully it works!
Any advice for if none of that got the printer to print? I've got the Elegoo Mars 4 and the thing just refuses to work.
Any issues with the firmware update on the mars 2?
