Looking back on it in 2002: I think people are starting to underestimate how strong Tobey Maguire Spider-Man is, just because his web shooters were retconned.
He was able to take on Doctor Octopus, without a new suit using spider legs from The Iron Spider.
He was able to withstand taking repeated and severe blows from Green Goblin before he snapped overwhelming him, temporarily.
And even less a little longer taking on New Goblin (Harry Osborn), who was stronger than Green Goblin.

25:20 In Spider-Man 1 Norman mentioned nanotechnology and in SM2 Doc Ock uses Osborn technology to create everything so the claws obviously can interact with nanotechnology.
34:20 The best “logical” answer I can think of is like in TSM2 when he fell into the pool of electrical eels the power fixed his teeth so him absorbing the MCU energy healed him and gave him his body back
1:01:17 Idk why but this always goes over peoples head and never understand how. Like Andrew Peter said “Yesterday I was here” just like Tobey’s Peter and Tom’s Peter is the most famous person in the world so his face is in every tv, newspaper and everything so Tobey know how he looks and when he saw Andrew and didn’t look like Tobey he thought it was a bad guy, most likely Chamaleon. He is a Spider-Man villain that is a master of disguise, and a brilliant method actor and impressionist. So Tobey Spider-Man maybe most likely faced him, but the point is that he knew how Tom looks like and he thought Andrew was bad.
My Spider-Man movie rankings (9 in movie scale is almost perfect, 8 is great, 7 is good and 6 is passable-above average)
    1. Spiderverse 9/10
    2. NWH 8/10
    3. SM2 7.5/10
    4. Homecoming 7/10

Tom Holland kill it with his performance in this movie and I can’t wait to continue his Spider-Man amazing character development.
Tom Holland Spider-man has lost so much in so little time, it’s crazy.
Tobey got bit at the age of 17.
For 17 years, he lived a fairly normal, happy childhood with both Aunt May and Uncle Ben, with no powers or supervillains to deal with. By the age of 18, Uncle Ben has died, but he got to properly graduate from high school with his childhood best friend and move into the city with him.
Andrew got bit at the age of 17.
He lost both of his parents at a young age and still carries that pain and yearning with him, but for 17 years, he lived a rather normal childhood with both Aunt May and Uncle Ben, with no powers or supervillains to deal with. By the age of 18, Uncle Ben has died, he becomes Spider-Man, graduates properly with his peers and his high school sweetheart, and lives in his childhood home with Aunt May.
Tom got bit at the age of 14.
After living up until freshman year with a relatively normal childhood, he is thrust into the superpowered world, and fights alongside the Avengers after only six months of being a superhero. While in high school, he loses out on hanging out with his friends, attending activities he enjoys, and teenage memories he will never recover, all in the name of heroic responsibility. Eight months into his powers at the age of 15, he defeats his first supervillain, is almost murdered, and loses out on ever going to his high school homecoming dance.
At the age of 16, he witnesses an alien invasion (for the second time in his life) and goes into a one-way trip into outer space where he dies on an alien planet. While the Blip was instantaneous for most people, for Peter, he understood that he was dying for a whole minute and died in the arms of his mentor. An hour later, he is revived, but he watches his mentor and idol die in front of him and attends his funeral.
At the age of 17, he is lied to and gaslit by a second supervillain, is almost murdered again, and has his identity revealed to the public and is framed as a murderer, destroying his personal life.
Later that same week, he discovers the multiverse is real, Aunt May dies, leaving him with no family, the world's memory of him is erased, leaving him no friends or support network of any kind, misses out on properly graduating high school, and lives alone in the city. Being Spider-Man is all he has left.
And after all of that, only then is he the same age as Peter 2 and Peter 3. And that breaks my heart.

Great video guys, always look forward to Marvel Monday! I was born in 2001 and was always a huge Marvel fan growing up (Tobey Maguire's Spiderman 3 was actually the first movie I ever saw in a theater, back in 2007) and to see how far we've come, with the MCU and the return of my favorite childhood figures, and for it to be so well done, was absolutely incredible. Sadly, there were leaks that Tobey and Andrew were in contact to return, but other than hearing they may or may not come back one day, I really didn't know if they would be or not (as Marvel kept it secret, which was great marketing). I loved watching No Way Home at the movies with my best friend, I can only imagine what it would have been like if it hadn't been leaked. I truly try to avoid as much spoilers as I can, and No Way Home certainly didn't disappoint at all. For me, watching Marvel over all these years, was a childhood dream come true that I never thought would happen.

Between this movie and End game this is what is called and known as fan servicing. If done poorly it can be detramental to the movie.
Callbacks. Nostalgia. Bow-tying. Like captain america picking up Mjolnir in end game when we see him barely lift it in Age of Ultron. That is fan servicing pay offs. These movies in opening night theatre with a lively crowd are some of the best experiences you will get in life.

I saw all the Tobey Spider-Man movies in the theater, and was upset that they rebooted SM so quickly. So I never saw the Andrew Spider-Man movies, and knew nothing of the Gwen incident. So coming from a perspective of someone who had not seen all of the previous SM movies, Marvel did a fabulous and efficient job of exposition in this movie, making you care about all of the characters coming from the other universes, regardless of our familiarity with them.

"Didn't that seem to you like spidey-senses." Actually, according to Stan Lee who created them both, Matt's senses are much better than the spidey-sense. Instead of a tingle or an instinct moving him a split second before danger, he has an all encompassing view of the world with his radar sense, at all times, as sharp as if he were looking right at them even if they're behind him. He probably knew when the guy was winding up the throw.
Plus, he still has his five main senses peaked, his ears can hear a mile+ out and his smell is to Wolverine levels. All while his sense of balance and acrobatic ability is equal to Peter himself.

Venom was sent to the 616 because Venom knew who Peter was, not Eddie Brock. In Spider Man 3, Peter was the first host of the symbiote, so Venom knew who he was and the symbiotes have hive minds that share information across the multiverse so the Venom in other universes knew who Peter was. That's why Venom was transported by the spell, it's because Venom the alien knew him not Brock. Its super exciting to have a symbiote in the MCU!

I agree with Rico in that each time I see this movie, I do think Dr. Strange is the one who caused all those problems in the first place. Yes, this Dr. Strange did seem a bit different to me and I am surprised he was so quick to do that forgetting spell for Peter. Then, yes, he should have explained all the rules to Peter before he ever started the spell. Third, I admit it never came to my mind either that when you get rejected from a college acceptance, to try appealing and talk to the admissions. Usually, in my experience, whenever you appeal anything else, it rarely ever works anyway unless there is some drastically new information uncovered that shows their original decision was a huge mistake and based on wrong information. You also just file paperwork to request an appeal but you are not allowed to actually show yourself and personally speak to anyone. Also, every hero needs a villain that helps make them a hero. So, Dr. Strange was right their sacrifice, as in sending those villains back to their world to die, saves millions of lives for their death helped forge their own Spider-Man as a hero.

You guys looking Matt Murdock aka Daredevil with no reaction and no idea who he is and what made it even worst by referring to spider sense literally killed me.
In Avengers Endgame, Thanos used the stones to destroy the stones then Thor killed him. The went back gather the stones, snap everyone back then Captain America return all the stones in the respective timelines.
The post credit scene is the reason I've been screaming out loud in each of your videos so many time to watch the two Venom movies before No Way Home. But youtube people have to power in voting what to watch next. Basically, this Venom from Tobey Maguire Spiderman 3 but from a different universe (this Venom is a whole different movie, has nothing to do with Spiderman).

The lawyer early on in the movie is Matt Murdock, aka, Daredevil, the whole thing saying there has to be a black spiderman somewhere out there was kind of referring to Miles Morales, another spiderman, who's the main character of Into The Spider-Verse, and while there's a good chance they don't go down this path, there were a lot of hints towards Ned Leeds being Hob Goblin in some other universe at least, though it's pretty much fifty fifty on whether or not he might become hob Goblin in a future spiderman movie. Great reaction though, really enjoyed it!

Hi Guys! I know that this suggestion is kinda late (different time zones does that), but Peter's lawyer is Matt Murdoch, aka Daredevil. He has his own TV series on Netflix and now in Disney+. He is also in Defenders, and a guest in She-Hulk. He's got normal human strength and reflexes (at least normal but heightened by training and exercise), but his powers are that his other senses are incredibly heightened to compensate for being blind. So echolocation, he could traxk a person by smell and heartbeat, etc.

Guys, this movie was, to me, the saddest yet awesome Spider Man movie ever.
I personally LOVE Peter and MJ here and I was depressed after seeing in theaters him losing Aunt May, which was a shock to me because growing up knowing Spider Man, Aunt May NEVER dies. So I was emotional seeing that and when he had to give up Ned and MJ and now he's completely alone, it was a lot to take in. I'm hoping they do reunite someday (fun fact: at the end, MJ is STILL wearing the broken Black Dahlia necklace Peter gave her in the last one).
This movie was so awesome for how crazy intense the storyline was and how all the movies before this one lead to this (I watched the original trilogy, Garfield's films, Homecoming and Far From Home and for the sake of it, Into the Spider Verse and Venom movies before this one). I don't think Marvel had any idea they were going to end up doing this back in 2002. The original Raimi trilogy as well as Andrew's films were done outside of the MCU and that itself didn't start until 2008 with Iron Man. I think they took everything they had at this point and came up with a clever way for this movie to exist and bring everyone back. I actually thought we'd see BOTH Goblins too!
I avoided spoilers and interviews so Andrew and Tobey coming back blew my mind in theaters! Everything with all 3 Spider Men was amazing to see and how they were looking after Tom's Spider Man like older brothers.
I got to say, when you guys got hyped from seeing them web sling together and rubbing your hands in excitement, I kind of laughed since I remembered the reaction for Deathly Hallows part II lol
This movie was amazing and both of your reactions were too!
