Last year about this time, I got really tired of waiting for the new Nissan, there was no Maverick, I wanted naturally aspirated and Tacoma interest rates and prices took themselves out of the running. I bought a 2021 Chevy Colorado quad cab 4x4 sb in WT trim with some great packages and I absolutely LOVE IT. Everything I wanted, the packages (trailer tow pkg, appearance pkg, convenience pkg) made it look great and capable and the lower trim kept the price to a level no other competitors could touch. I'll be turning 13,000 kms tomorrow and so far the only vehicle I would even consider to replace it is a newer Colorado. I'm glad I didn't wait for the Nissan. Nice truck, but they essentially used the Colorado as the capability benchmark, added 2%, updated their own 20 year old design to just squeak by Colorado and Tacoma and then charged 30% more than their outgoing model and about 12-15% more than their competitors. No thanks. I'll take my Chevy WT. WT stands for work truck which is precisely what it DOES. It works to a T in my life in ALL aspects and with a timeless design that's going to look good for a long long time. Another great review Joe! Cheers!

The “midnight edition” is a package you have to pay extra for on the Colorado, but it’s automatically part of the Elevation trim level on the Canyon. And on the Canyon the interior treatment is fully blacked out with leather dash and white stitching and wood trim around the shifter and door panels.
