@@roberthorry621 I’m from Jamaica it’s a nice place if you stay the right places country sides might be the best for tourist worst if you’re American more expensive if your white American your not only subjected to this in Jamaica this is any where in the world
We take a lot of things for granted in Jamaica. We want so much to be first world, to become large metropolitan concrete cities, that we no longer value our natural world and how much it provides for us. I love this video because it shows why I love nature and natural permaculture living so much. Going to the bush on the mountain to pick food and that food is growing everywhere. Most of the food growing on this mountain is self-sustaining and there is enough of it to provide him and several families with 3 meals a day plus snacks. No, I am not impressed with your Gated Communities, I am not impressed with your highways and I am not impressed with your smog filled cities or your fancy cars. What I am impressed with is Mokko’s ability to climb his mountain farm, filled with organic natural foods, to sit under a tree, eat as much as he wants, enjoying the cool breeze of the Caribbean and look out on the most beautiful view I have ever seen. That is living!
I live in California and believe most people raised in that environment would quickly become unhappy living in The concrete Jungle. We go to places like Jamaica on holiday to relax and get our head together. In the western world stress is huge. Material things do not equal happiness.
The whole reason I want to b in Jamaica is not for the concrete jungle but the hills and nature...nuf concrete here in neworleans la.....da bottom of d boot muddy concrete jungle
Akeem I live in the midwest section of the US and I can't imagine what it would be like living in NYC. Nothing but skyscrapers and people everywhere. Sometimes its good to go to the woods and sea a stream. I hope the Wall Street people don't come from the rest of the US.
Although I am born and raised in NYC to Jamaican parents, I spent my summers this way as a child at my grandmothers farm in Trelawny. The most valuable experience of my childhood was there. Beautiful land of milk and honey! Jamaica is my motherland! Always love my culture!!! Proud and respect this channel. Masters of nature at work
Yet we ran away from it to go to babylon to be fed poison. 15 years in babylon, I came back home 1 year now with a zip lock gallon bag of pills. 59 days in my paradise and mi dash wey dem poison pill. 1 year later my health and vitality has never been better.

I agree with you Matthew, it’s amazing that Mokko can see things that we may overlook. Personally, I would have been lost and couldn’t have found my way back. Mokko knows his land and his he’s very good with agriculture.
Ratty is going to carry on with his family tradition of farming and caring for the land. If he doesn’t that’s fine but he seems to truly love gardening and spending his time finding foods in the bush. Those burned tress add important minerals to the soil. Bless up to the entire Family!!!!
