I’ve smoked for 22 years and I am 37 years old. Probably missed a month of those 22 years. I use it as it gives me a focus in life. I have a family, I have a good paying job and for me ganja makes me love the aspects of life that make me complete. It makes me emotionally and spiritually connected to God, parents, family and everything around me. I don’t drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes. As a Fijian I do consume my ganja whilst having kava but that’s about it. Ganja does not pollute my thoughts, it makes me ponder my decisions to become a better person in society. It fills me with love.
Maybe I may not be making sense to all but I am writing this with a herb stick in hand.

I have never smoked weed, yet I do meditate and have opened the third eye. Yet I’ve have met so many immature weed smokers, but I do not judge. It’s more self control there lacking.
We develop a relationship with the herb, during some points in our lifes it can lead us to breakthroughs and fascinating insights. And yet at other times in our life in can cloud our direction and put us on a cyclical path that can be hard to break.
I am at a certain stage in life where I've learned Marijuana is neither bad nor good. But it is most important to have discipline and self control, and only use it when you have a direct intentional attitude.

Smoking helped me with my depression. I haven't felt depressed ever since, even when I take breaks. It helped me narrow down the source of the problem and I faced it

@@5sike When I smoke I’m able to really submerge myself in the present moment I’m experiencing, i look at life or objectively. I don’t concern myself with what Is out of control. Sometimes I feel dependent on weed. I’ve been smoking since I was 14. But it isn’t the same as it always was. Before it was to escape the feelings I had. Now it is to let myself feel my feelings more in tune and seamlessly.

I've never read something that resonates with me so much in my life, I also started at 14 and went through a bad stage of dependency due to me trying to suppress feelings I didnt know I had, but now it's exactly like what you said, a way to tap into those emotions and see them/analyse them for what they are, in turn helping me control them

I smoked marijuana for 15 years. I quit 6 months ago. It started giving me anxiety & anxiousness. I noticed how it made me sleeping, lazy, loss of appetite. Enough was enough. Since I’ve stopped my mind has less unnecessary thoughts. My dreams are more vivid, my memory has improved & I have much more control of my emotions. I do get insomnia now that I quit. However I’ve realized that I love being grounded and not High. Wish you all well ❤️

I am happy I clicked this video! I used to smoke in high school and stopped bc it stopped being fun. I smoked a few weeks ago and the result I had was different: total paranoia. I was on a quest to figure out why? I only take 1 or 2 hits when I do and I’ve realized it helps me to see the reality of things in my life. I see things for what they are and that’s why I used to get paranoid. I use it to self reflect now and meditate-alone.

I was saying the other day to someone that I personally feel like the issues of the heart gets magnified by substance on a whole. Some people people smoke for different reasons and for me I get a deeper connection and so I often pray and ask God to help me not use smoking as a substitute for my relationship with Him , but instead to be the bridge that bring that connection. Is a medicine for me and not just some recreational drug.

He does have an ego. Ego is the driving force of identity. I discovered this through the pursuit of egolessness: a complex being such as a human without an ego is a blank slate. It's pretty much an impossibility with the intricate systems of language and learning we infuse into the developing.
Even simple primal instincts glued together with physical drives are a sense of self and one way or another connected to these concepts; humans are self serving and the ability to be self aware is not the absence of the ego.
This man is aware that he has a certain knowledge about this topic and took upon himself the endeavor of educating people from his point of view. I value your perspective, but the ganja may hide ego from you. If you have any preceding mental issues you may have pursued the beautiful concept of transcending your own issues as I once did. It will lead you down a dark path and face you with isolated issues and bad habits you never thought about. Build on the foundation that is your identity, and use your ego in a way to achieve whatever it is you decide is worth pursuing. Do not rip the fabric that is your being, or let someone else do this for you.
I suppose by listening to something as spiritually and positively charged as this rasta man you must have a better path than I did. I miss my favorite herb every day, and some days it feels despite all my trials I am more lost than ever because of the substance journeys I embarked on. Perhaps my spirit is crying out for help once again. I wish you well.

@@quaiquai7412 I have smoked for many years on and off and have recently been getting same with panic attacks. I get them without smoking weed also though so is hard to know whether it is the weed or if I would be feeling like that anyway.
I think that the weed can sometimes trigger the anxiety but I find it depends on the strain, I try to stay away from potent strains like white widow. This is a good argument for legalization of cannabis as in a country like UK you have no choice on strains just what is available on the black market. Some strains help with anxiety where as others can trigger it I believe.

Because i got it without being high and it kinda had bd down for a moment thinking something is wrong but where i from (Trinidad) anxiety is not something we hear about so i had to shake myself up to noy let iy overcome and i haven't gotten in a while and when i do i know is a panic attack so i just ignore and it goes away buy uk when u high your mind strays alot i dont know if i would be able to ignore it while high! Idk how this popped up on my timeline but I loved loved loved marijuana for 14 years to be exact it zend me out for a few but Out of no where I had a real encounter with Christ Jesus it was so powerful and was like nothing I could have ever dreamed it to be.. I literally became alive (born again) into the spirit realm it was like the planet stopped and for once in my life I felt alive😱. After that I realized I never needed a substance or anything from this earth to comfort me in the spirit or try and connect me to the spirit realm honestly the amount of Joy and peace the amount of wisdom and liberty and love oh my lord his love it Is literally out of this world he transcends you to where he is and it is just pure bliss . He took me to a place that I didn’t even think was possible like in him I literally remembered things that I didn’t even think where humanly possible ... like Being in my mother’s womb 🤯. I was like woah. God is so far out yet closer than the air you breath Nothing at all from this world can compare or relate to that richness and joy that come from Christ Jesus he is alive . He’s not how they make him seem he is absolute love ❤️

I’ve been smoking since I was 16 and it wasn’t until I was 20ish where it began to trigger my anxiety to the point where I feel like I would always fall into a deep dark hole of thought. I though to myself, “maybe I shouldn’t smoke this anymore. Maybe it’s not for me”. And it’s true that’s it’s not for everyone, but something kept attracting me back to it despite the negative effects I knew I might experience. But one day, after falling into that thought hole after a good smoke I just allowed myself to fully experience that fear and anxiety. I gave in to the experience and unlocked a new consciousness where I could see my fears in my minds eye and ask myself why it scared me so much. It was such a profound experience that I don’t know if I would have experienced without cannabis...at least not all in my own. Much love for the power of the herb💚
You should learn to accept instead of running away from and questioning all your worries, then you will be a much happier person in your life.This is a game for your brain, never run away from it! And always find yourself something to linger.

But I think that she gave a good suggestion with just allowing yourself to Be and just allowing yourself to experience it instead of trying to fight it. Trying to run from it, I think is what gives us the experience. Cause we try to run from it and the more we run from it the more we get pulled into it.

I switched to CBD for this very reason. Good to know that it wasn't just me. It didn't affect me like this when I was younger but as an older person I think having so many responsibilities caused me to feel anxious.

I have struggled with mental issues. I started smoking and it helped. Not because I could escape but because I could confront these issues. When I'm smoking I am able to stay calm when I'm being mistreated by helping me see their emotions think about the person who offend me. They are still human they and although they were unjust I forgive them because humans are flawed by nature. I paint and make art and smoking gives me a new perspective when creating and consuming art. I smoke as often as I can but sometimes I take breaks because I want to enjoy the sobriety or to get a contrast between high and sober, to put things into perspective. People who tell I have a problem don't know me. I am in control of how much I smoke and when I smoke but when I CHOOSE to smoke daily they cannot understand that.

9:09 - YES. I started for the wrong reasons but stayed for the right ones. It's hard to explain objectively since it is such a subjective experience, but I feel more connected to my internal self and feelings. I wouldn’t suggest that any human smoke Marijuana (or smoke or vaporize anything for that matter). Smoke is harmful to the lungs and the burning in your lungs and throat are a distraction to seeing and hearing what the Psychedelic is saying, and the pollution itself lets in the darkness that inhibits a human from discerning what the Psychedelic is truly saying. It would be much better for humans to first understand the science about Marijuana before attempting to understand the Spiritual. THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is a Psychedelic; there is very little, if any THC found in Marijuana flowers unless the flowers are very old. There are trichomes all over/in the Marijuana flowers which contain THC-A (Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid). The THC-A must first be decarboxylated to convert it to the THC; there are 3 ways to accomplish this:
1- Heat
2- Light
3- Time
Most humans opt for the intense heat of burning the Marijuana flowers in order to convert the THC-A into THC, although it seems most humans have no idea this is what is taking place. Using this process, the best case scenario would be a 60% conversion rate of THC-A to THC and evidence shows you are more likely only converting 30 to 40% of your THC-A into THC; so most people smoking Marijuana are losing more than 50% of the THC that could have been ingested. Add to this knowledge the fact that smoking is harmful to the body and the burning is a distraction from a person seeing and hearing what the Living Light of Consciousness (any True Psychedelic) is saying. Any human wishing to have a Holy Communion with the Angel THC should learn to make the Golden Anointing Oil - “The Golden Drop of Water”.
THC is an extremely powerful Psychedelic; most humans just ingest Them, and prepare Them and their own bodies improperly. There is this part from Scripture: “Even the priests must purify themselves”
I can instruct you how to make the Golden Anointing Oil if that is something you would like to experience. I smoke to connect with myself and others. My compassion is illiluminated and I can see others clearly as spiritual beings. I face my fears with weed. For me: a little goes a long way. I don't mind smoking with others but it's not required. I meditate with weed, breathing meditation and pray for others as well. For me weed roots me. Its been a huge boon for me in regards to trauma and finding happiness with less. Thanks for the video.

I’m from Atlanta and just about everybody here smokes using rellos and Tobacco paper, these rellos affect you in the long run and people around here need to branch out and use hemp papers or atleast water their tobacco papers and dry them out before smoking on them, there’s a stigma where I live that teens don’t use anything else but rellos because everybody does it and thinks that using cones or raw paper is “lame” so they’re pushed into using rellos, it sucks but it’s something we need to work on to take care of our health

Smoking helps me disregard the negative thoughts and emotions which come from seeing negative actions or situations during my day to day. This is not my coping mechanism as I have already smoked before these events. Smoking when negative things happen, to mask your pain or discomfort is not the way to use marijuana.
I appreciated life, nature and togetherness at all times. When i smoke i feel more physically and spiritually connected to the environments i am in.
It is important to smoke in moderation and not become dependant.

Yes Amanda , that was me. I should have clarified that, when I was smoking , I would have preferred to have been there growing it myself. This was before I knew what I am now aware of. Jerome Sage Butler's points are well taken. I was ignorant to a lot of the facts, I only knew that it did help me cope with the tragedies of my past.
I DID stop 'Cold Turkey' ! It will be 5 yrs! It did have effect my health (not growing it myself), yellow teeth, breath, etc. I definitely notice a major difference. I regret being weak and enticed to even begin; Not telling those people 'No'. For me , it was the best decision! For those who want to debate and continue; It is their choice!!!
