The game that forever change Cam Newton. Just imagine if the same thing happen to Peyton in 2003 when the Patriots terrorized him. It's what separates the greats from the goods. Great QB bounce back from a poor performance. Peyton in 2003 AFC championship game. 4 picks and most were pick off by Ty Law. The very next season he throws for 49 td. Of course lose to the Patriots again 20-3 in the snow. Next season Colts start out 13-0. 2006 his first super bowl. Cam had potential to become a great QB. This game just totally change him forever.

I was 2 years removed from moving out of Colorado down to ATL and was watching this game with angst and anticipation to see how we started. That first pass to Owen Daniels off the double A-gap blitz where we didn't fumble a snap get sacked or have to throw it away in panic. We picked it up and moved forward and that gave me hope, but the thing that sealed the deal was the strip-sack. From the jump of that play, Von had Remmers beat and it was a wrap and by the end of the game I was screaming running around the house rubbin it in the face of all my falcon fan friends that thought we wasn't gonna win that is the greatest sports memory of my life to this point

(Carolina scores 5 tds, Broncos offense throws for 300 yards, defense gets 2 tds, etc) well my selection was Denver would force 5 turnovers. (Could of been an int, fumble, failed 4th down, etc) Denver plays and wins super bowl, I log into madden next morning, completely forgetting my bet........... 500,000 coins 😱 loved every minute of that Super Bowl. Loved hearing media, friends, family, coworkers, strangers at Walmart talk about just handing the trophy to Carolina because Denver didn’t stand a chance. Enduring that nightmare of a game against Seattle and then realizing by the time 2015 came along that there wasn’t anything left in the tank after that season…it was unbelievable to watch this team just dig deep, take their stance and drive into the playoffs and ride off into the sunset with a trophy.
The key moment i go back to is that Chargers game when Manning came back in for the first time after a 4 game break and see what he did for us - i knew we would have a chance to make something of this final go for the 2015 season.
And seeing Brady picked off in the playoffs for the 2 point conversion was just amazing… cause it meant we still had an another chance.
Sure, years later we’re still trying to find our way, but that’s the beauty of championships, as time goes on - they’ll be there to look back on.

Everyone hates on Peyton for his 2015 season.
He definitely struggled & was carried to a title but his Week 10 game vs Kansas City - in which he was probably too hurt to be playing & shouldn’t have been allowed to start - really killed his stats.
If you factor out the game vs KC in 2015 that Kubiak never should've played Peyton in & you look at his other 12 games:
    244 completions
    403 attempts
    (60.5% completion rate)
    2,753 yards (6.8 YPA)
    (244.7 YPG)
    11 TD Passes (2.7% TD%)
    14 INTs (3.5% INT%)
    75.6 Passer Rating
    11-1 W-L Record
    (91.7% winning %)
    5 GW'ing Drives (Led NFL)
4 4th Qtr Comebacks (Led NFL)
It’s still not good but it looks a lot closer to Eli in 2007 or Trent Dilfer in 2000 than how his season gets portrayed by some in the media.

The fact that they couldn’t do this without Payton Manning for countless years before he arrived and haven’t did it since he left yet they don’t hardly even mention his name in this video is pathetic.

@@finsfan90, the vid concerns 2015-16 and SUPE 50.
In 2015-16, PEYTON was injured one too many times and hit the wall= 9 TDs and 17 picks(tied for worst in the NFL). True, he did come in and rescue with his leadership vs. the blank-faced OSWEILER, THE SAN DIEGO GAME that was the difference in being a 1 seed or a five.
DENVER won that game by holding SD AND RIVERS to 6 points on 4 TURNOVERS, FIVE TOTAL= 13 PTS FOR SD. DENVER WON THAT GAME 27-20..SD +4 IN THE turnover dept.
      That was the D.
IF AQ. TALIB did not blow coverage on that one long pass by SD, they would've scored 7 pts vs. our D..
Other than PEYTON's steady but pointed leadership in the SD game in DEN., it was the D that sparked that season and won SBOWL 50.
That is why the vid does not mention PEYTON.
      Got it?
