I wish my Packers played you guys in 96 we played our worst game and still should of won in 97 but couldn't stop the run without rotating lineman even though we were elite vs the pass that year
@@eric3298please, the Broncos were the best team in the NFL from 96 to 98, no question, Jacksonville was one of the biggest fluke wins, besides Atlanta beating Minnesota, in NFL playoff history!
That 98 Broncos D-line was so underrated. So was the 97, Neil Smith, Alfred Williams, and Trevor Pryce. All three were first team all pro at some point. Steve Atwater is him and Darrien Gordon was an All Pro kick returner and had 13 total interceptions in those back to back years.

Keith Traylor was reakky good on that D-line too. He was great against the runb big tractor traylor lol. That whole defense was underrated man. they were #1 against the run in 1998. The offense was so great the defense was overlooked.
The Packers broncos 97 super bowl I wish went to overtime even though we would have lost had we lost the coin toss cause the last throw by favre never makes sense still .....
I'm glad they brought up that 96 game a few times. I'm Steelers fan through and through so I have no skin in the game. However my love for the game and appreciation of John Elways amazing career up to that point made that game stick out in my mind for all these years. If memory serves. Broncos forced JVille to punt. During the punt play Michael Dean Perry did not hustle off the field and was flagged for 12th man. Giving Jville a first down. Eventually, I believe, went on to either run more precious time off the clock or score again to put the game away. Either way, Denver was the better team that day and lost. I thought for sure John would never win one after that game. I'm glad I was wrong even though he came in to the Burgh and beat my Steelers in AFC title game the following year. Love this doc. Thanks for uploading.
I'm Packers fan and this years chiefs reminded me of this years chiefs on defense we just ran out of body's in the defensive line and had to play the same 3 guys basically all game and Dotson Reggie White and Gilbert Brown were gassed even though they still played worst game and should of won
When you combine regular season and post-season, no one has ever rushed for more yards in a single season than Terrell Davis did in the 1998 season. Oh and his 1997 season is #2 all time.
Mike Shanahan should be in the HOF. W/all due respect to coaches like Bill Cowher (who is deserving of the HOF). He was only the HC. Shanahan was the HC, OC, and GM. He did more than most coaches. He won B2B SBs, and he beat the best coaches (Coughlin, Schottenheimer, Cowher, Holmgren, Johnson, Parcells, Belichick, Reeves) while doing it. In addition, his coaching tree (Kyle, McDaniel, LaFleur, Kubiak, McVay, Lynn, etc.) is still dominating the NFL today.

I miss the Elway and Bowlen era. Those teams were always fun to watch.

Times have been tough here in Denver since SB 50, but the Broncos media team remains top notch. This was awesome to relive.

Gets me pumped! major proud to be a Broncos fan.
This was Great, also been a Broncos fan since Craig Morton, Haven Moses. Loved Elway, Davis, McCaffery, Sharpe, Smith, and Manning.
