    The final score really doesn't do justice to how lopsided this game felt. There was a point in the 3rd quarter where it really felt like Carolina's offense just wasn't going to score again in this game. Denver's defense was absolutely suffocating and Carolina couldn't protect Cam Newton at all against that front 7.
    I mean just look at what Carolina was doing throughout the second half; max protect. _Seven_ blockers back trying to protect Cam with 3 men trying to get open against that secondary, and Denver was _still_ consistently getting pressure within 3 seconds forcing Cam to run for his life back there. Absolute clinic by Denver's defense that night.

    As crazy as it sounds, these Broncos have a case to be the best defense in NFL history.
    Let me explain: Unlike other great defenses of the past, the 2015 Broncos have to play in a modern league that rewards offenses while instituting a myriad rules against the defense where even a seemingly minor action just a few years ago could now be a 10 yard penalty or a spot foul-and not to mention, their defense had to carry the burden of an offense that had *BOTH* a geriatric Peyton Manning and the tall sack dummy Brock Osweiler at QB alongside a weak run game-they simply never had as much field position to defend on almost every possession.

    20:10 the moment Cam Newton put his image over winning a Super Bowl and he never was the same after that.

    • @josiahstearns9615
      @josiahstearns9615 3 года назад

      You watch that at a slower speed - had he moved quick enough (like we’ve all seen him do back then) there was a whole bunch of space for him to fall on the ball and curl up to secure it - but nope.... “Drama-Queen Cam” struck again and Panther fans will never know what it would have been like if they maintained possession for one more down in that drive.

    • @STSGuitar16
      @STSGuitar16 2 года назад

      @@josiahstearns9615 Spot on. Cam honestly started pouting in the first quarter, and then just let that dramatic emotion take over every inch of his body. The dude has never even come close to approaching the numbers he had in that season until that super bowl.
      He truly was never anywhere close to being the same after this game, period. Like you, I do believe it is probably a kind of narcissistic quality that Cam has about himself (his instagram posts will make you cringe hard as fuck, the dude looks like a total clown these days) that has been his downfall. His ego made him into basically the exact opposite of a team player. It was always supposed to be all about Cam, no matter the situation.
      Oh shoot, Cam is upset and wants to take his ball and go home during super bowl 50? Well damn, screw the rest of the team, I guess. That is just the worst attitude any teammate could have. Anyone can lead a team to regular season success if they have good players around them, but true leaders always put the team above themselves to give them the absolute best shot at winning as a team, and it seems Cam gave up on that idea pretty damn early in the game.

    still can't believe how Cam got totally shut down in this game. Feel sorry for the Panthers D headed by Kuechly and Norman cause they played very well. They only gave up 10 real points. Regarding Cam, This was the worst QB performance in a Super Bowl since Rich Gannon in SB 37. He was a total dud in this game, and he's never been the same since in my opinion. Broncos took his swagger.

      I think this game just exposed Cam
      The D capitalized on his weaknesses and he was never able to overcome that
      In his defense at least three passes were dropped that were on the money
