1.Smash into hangar ceiling: ✔️
2.Fell off the ship: ✔️
3.Approach station with maximum speed and crash into it: ✔️
Only one thing he missed on a newcomer's ritual is walk out into space with no helmet on.
Port Olisar is gone now so it's not as easy to do with ships spawning in hangars. Though certainly possible.
@@GUNNER67akaKeltyou can simply walk out the back ramp of your ship to do this.
@@GUNNER67akaKeltor take helmet off to drink and forget to put it back on

A standing applause for the good Doctor.

Hold up. Starfield has multiplayer?
As soon as he reached the hangar I knew it was over lol. Its become part of the ritual for newcomers to crash their ship as soon as they get it
The standard progression for noobs is definitely smash into hangar ceiling, followed by fall out the back of open cargo door, and lastly finish it off with a smash into the space station at 1000 miles an hour.
@@vorpalrobotthat’s about it yeah
@@vorpalrobot Back in the day it included ejecting yourself into space because hold Y was eject before they changed it

This is the most accurate thing ever said about SC.
Good god that sounds terrible
I wasn't ready for how glorious this video was going to be
It started off, just like the game, then became awesome, just like the game.
It was a blast to fly with you. Hopefully, our paths cross again and we can take some ships to fight the scum around the moons 9:25
Kev please play more of this.
Plz more we beg of you
This was unironically so fun to see.
Would definitely love to see more!
@@ShawnMeirait was SO fun bro i was smiling the whole way through
Please do play this more. It's so fun to watch someone with a great sense of humor play this game.
It's crazy how in real life, I'm a law abiding citizen, but in star citizen I'm serving two life sentences!! I don't even know what the rest of this game looks like I've been in prison for so long!!
what did u do!?😂
Maybe life sentence just means that you'll be released when the game is complete
@@channel45853 so never released or maybe he will be released when we get a third season of nuka break

It appears you have commented “It would appear he has finally tried star citizen”

Most unfortunate
Quite the Observation there old chap
that’s certainly one way to interpret this
We were bounty hunting you hahaha 😂 We died outside the prison because we couldn't find a way in and died of heat stroke lmao.
Haha, literally everything added to my experience, I had such a good time getting into this
@@Kevduit Welcome to the verse citizen ! :D
Down the rabbit hole he goes…
No t looked into Star Citizen for a while now. Do they still reset your character and / or progress with every big update or is that shit finally over.
nope still there likely to stay there until the end of beta (end of beta will likely have one big wipe)
Man, I love seeing people play Star Citizen for the first time. You can hear the pure joy and excitement in their voices.
Even with all it's bugs, nothing even gets close to comparing to Star Citizen.
At least until the initial excitement wears off and you realise how far development still has to go.
@@TheN9nthYep. For me it's been years since I've found anything exciting about SC.
@@captainharlock3998 u mean everything
How does it compare to the current state of No Man’s Sky? I wasn’t into gaming during NMS’s initial release fiasco, but playing it now it seems to be everything it’s promised and more. But it seems like a bit of an empty gameplay loop when you focus in on something you like in that game. Last I heard of Star Citizen, it was just another crowdfunding scam, and years later forced to release something to keep up appearances. Did something happen to ramp up development? The gameplay in Kev’s video looks shockingly solid, but does it hold up throughout other aspects of the game? Is it just a flashy start, or is it gradually getting meatier like NMS did?
@@ata9419 Its getting more content every year but the development of the alpha is still slow. SC have had one system for all this time and in the next year we finally are getting the new Pyro system with new planets. Game loops are nice but there is still little to do if you really want to play it every day. The only hope is that they develop more in the background, as they are basically developing TWO games at the same time and the single player game (squadron 42) is in its final stage+develop everything u see in game from scratch. I havent played no mans sky for a while but I see after all these years they added promised content, but the release version I bought was worse than current Star Citizen Alpha version. Hopefully after the release of squadron 42 they will focus on the Star Citizen more. They also have zero financial problems as Star Citizen is earning them literal millions of dollars every month even in alpha stage (you can check it out in crowdfunding page, its pretty neat).
TL;DR: SC is cool right now but lacks a porpuse of playing in a long term, but there is still A LOT to come.
First time trying Star Citizen and immediately decides to experience the criminal gameplay with a successful prison escape. Damn, that's some respect right there, making yourself suffer like that lol.
usually you only get to suffer like that if you got hunted down and then tryed to mining for 2 hours just to have it bug and you still have 16 hours. lmao i didnt know they uncapped the time from 6 hours a few patches back though, that's hilarious
he knew the controls, knew what he could do, had friends and knew how to set up a party, etc. He's not new.
@@patty_cakes5596 Probably in anticipation for removing armistice zones in the future, If you choose to be an outlaw or criminal and get caught. The time in Prison is most likely to go up to wild numbers + depending on severity of committed crimes. Should make the murderhobo's think twice before doing things or live with being put in Prison for a very long time.
Well that’s what happen when you have a big fan base you can make the game easy mode with help
SC summed up in the most perfect sentence.. "I feel like I'm learning a lot. But there is a lot to learn"
"Suck it criminal scum!" says the escaped prisoner XD
I was yelling at all the INFERIOR other non escaped criminals
Unironically one of the best adverts for Star Citizen, and I don't even think Kev was sponsored. Dang!
Never watched u before and I did not expect to laugh as much as I did. Great video!
Welcome to SC!
Glad you enjoyed this!
I love how in some moments when I’ve laughs it’s not a ha ha funny laugh it’s a genuine child like amusement laugh.
Its great how this space mario game also comes with a whole space sim minigame with it.
TBH Star citizen keeps me coming back for more interactions like this
That beautiful moment when thdy realized there weren't loading screens, and ships are seamless to get into.
When you walked to the edge of your ramp I was like, "Wait for it, here it comes... and there it is."
What are the odds? A first timer would be dramatically rescued on the first day while streaming. This is the greatest video to show how badass this project is.
To be fair, Dr Pineapple is probably a frend of Kev and he asked him to come just to do that rescue bit. Still, very well executed so props to him. There is no way that was just a random guy. I mean how could he even know Kev was breaking out of prison? :)
Ngl, the ending was perfect! After all that suffering, back to the start.
thats how it usually goes too lmao. but its more often than not a result of a bug than the second biggest cargo ship in the game kamikazing into you and i think id rather the second option tbh. lmao
Holy shit that end fight was so cool. Just him being thrown around, the shooting and ship combat and finally him falling over and seeing the hatch at the back was open XD
Kev playing this game like Edge of Tomorrow movie😅
FINALLY, HE HAS BECOME THE STAR CITIZEN!
Time to start a series on this
The way you opened your ships hanger, walked in and said "WAIT...IT'S ALL SEAMLESS?" I love starfield players😂
This was top notch Star Citizen comedy, thanks for the good laugh
i cant wait for a year from now when he has fully gone into the rabbit hole and he buys a kraken for the pyro release to start a full pirate org to terrorize the verse. ill be right there on the ship with him. lmao
Welcome to the SC community Kev, hope you stick around.
I'll definitely be going on more adventures
@@Kevduit You should crew on my salvage ship, would be fun to go and do some of the new salvage missions lol
@@Kevduitgood, you might wanna try and set up FOIP, Face Over Internet Protocol, next time. Uses your webcam (the higher the fps the better and as well as good lighting) to drive your in-game character's facial expressions. It can be a little janky, but you look like you don't shy away from jank and it can be very fun content.
Welcome to The 'Verse O7

I had no idea what was happening half the time haha
@@Kevduitpsssht, yeah right. We all saw you dive head first into a life of crime, you are not fooling anybody. Best just start a prison gang and get tatted up ar this point.
The prison part was actually entertaining.
i never expected kev to bring a knife to a gun fight, let alone win it
also knowing how content creators and online hyper realistic games go... you're likely gonna get a suspicious large sum added to your account at some point if you keep playing... you can transfer credits to another player
Yep, the player base will likely send him hella cash to get more ships and stuff to make more content with, because this was entertaining af
Looks funner than starfield

8:40 your mistake was focusing on trying to stop, instead you want to change your flight direction to somewhere where you won’t crash and then try to slow down,
Sir Isaac Newton is the deadliest sonofabitch in space.
“Wait there’s no loading screens?” Lmao I felt the same way after playing this game after playing starfield for a while
Hold on this is actually fire
Here's the thing, Star Citizen is definitely still a buggy mess but I've had some of my favorite video game moments playing that game with friends. If you're cool with Role Playing you can have so many fun and wacky adventures with random people and friends. Great game but definitely play with friends that are already aware of what to do because the game is very daunting if you haven't played before and the controls can be confusing.
I'm a newbie myself, figuring out all the stuff was weirdly part of the fun for me. Getting out of my ship to grab a box for a delivery mission forgetting that I'm still in my hospital gown from the last time I crashed. Super fun.
@@chrismiller5624 hahaha yeah definitely been there. Even playing solo in that game is great just for the views. I've spent hours tossing on Fleetwood Mac or some mellow music and just flying around and delivering packages to see all the moons and random spots on the planets. The game is definitely what you want to make it and if people get hyper fixated on it not being polished I find they get mad about it. or if they don't have someone to show them the ropes I find people quit a lot of the time.
I think every single person who has ever played this game has took off and hit the hanger doors, not expecting you have to actually notify the spaceport you want to leave
The superior Starfield experience.
Sunk cost fallacy straight into the abyss 🤣
@@gorganhorn6872
Do you type "Sunk cost fallacy" under every Ukraine-related video?
Western nations pouring their wealth & resources into Ukraine in pursuit of the strategic defeat of Russia = perfect example of the sunk cost fallacy. But check out all the blue & yellow flagbearers.
The core requirement for a fallacy is invalid logic. Those who type this "sunk cost fallacy" line in comments related to the Star Citizen project, without providing a logical argument for its application, make absolutely no sense. In the absence of your argument you may as well have just typed "Strawberry straight into the abyss".
Those incorrectly ascribing this concept to non-pressured choices (Like spending $45) often have a myopic view of a backer's motivation and subjective reasoning, making unsubstantiated assertions which render their appeal to the fallacy as...false.
Your parents accept that you no longer want to be a brain surgeon but they're still paying your tuition as there's only a year left. You're doubting whether your partner's 'the One' but you're still going on dates & spending $$ on them. Your property value takes a hit and you fall into negative equity but you're still making the payments. Election day and you're gonna vote, yet again, for some person or party who you know is not gonna fulfill their campaign promises but you go and vote anywway. Three months ago you booked a holiday to your partner's favourite destination even though you would personally prefer to travel anywhere else, but you've since split up and you've still got the unrefundable tickets so you go anyhow, epending more $$ all the way there and back.
Anyone can type "sunk cost fallacy' about all these scenarios and from a coldly analytical and uninformed perspective view such judgements as true, even arguing it's truth. But can't you see the obvious fallacy with such logic in these instances?
Third parties can shout "sunk cost fallacy" at 99% of new car buyers, 99% of pet owners and 50% of pregnant women.
The subjective motivations of the individual actually spending their time\money\energy defines whether the fallacy applies, NOT the opinion of some observer. Go tell your friends who have partners who you think are "Ugh!" or "I can't see what they see in them" or ,"I don't think they're gonna work out" about their sunk costs.
Let us know how it goes.
FINALLY HE HAS DONE IT!!!!!
"Well you lasted longer than I thought" the perfect summary to the early game.
This game looks awesome. That fight in space was badass looking
pvp in dog fighting in this game is on another level, especially when its you and a few other ship against another org. trying to hold a point while your sniper team drops in 20k away on the ground to take the facility before you guys set up AA turrets dropped from a cargo ship and then fill that same cargo ship with 10s of millions in drugs.
When it works Star Citizen is absolutely glorious... when it works...
If youre looking for a ''awesome game'' that doesnt work 90% of the time, sure.
Yeah this game barely works most of the time and has no content

@@ryanjones4106sure the best one. So long you do not object or question the ideas of the people's party of chros roberts
@@hazemabadi6104aktshually, some of the most vile critiques of Star citizen are backers themselves.
But there is a difference with pure hate without facts and constructive criticism.
The latter doesn’t stir anyone up.
It’s arguments like „1o YeArS!!11“ that are so annoying as many many other games with much smaller scope needed already more than that.
Like cyberpunk: witch patch 2.0 it is, 12 years after they started, now in the shape it should have been at release. And it’s a much smaller game. Why on earth should SQ42 (bigger scope than cyberpunk) or let alone multiplayer Star Citizen (much much bigger scope) be finished earlier? And cyberpunk doesn’t have anything that’s really new…
Wish I could like this more than once. "Kilometers? This game takes place in Canada?" - That fucking killed me

I did not expect it to look this fun
Well that's basically any good youtuber for you.... It's not..... The game mesmerizes you with visuals and crazy mechanics for a while until you realize there's nothing entertaining to do.
you have to learn loss and to temper expectations due to bugs, wipes, etc. As is the case with somethig that is still in develepment. However, it truly is amazing to see what you and others can do. I always say that Star Citizen offers things I have never seen any other game. It is a lot of fun, and if your computer ca handle it, you can play during a free fly event to try it out.
@@ThatOneGuyWhoLostHisHandle lmao, that is definitely not true. If you weren’t entertained, than its not a game for you and that’s ok!

It gets a bad rap but this game is honestly a ton of fun with a group when it works. The issue is that it very frequently breaks lol
4:50 *so* glad you did not forget your helmet. People will do that, they'll fly off in their ship and forget to bring their helmet with them from their landing area inventory.

Making a complete tutorial would be a waste of (crowdfunding) resources, but on the RSI webpage you can apply for a human guide (a volunteer from the community) that guides you through various topics for you to choose.
By far the most convenient method as these guide guys normally also know true workaround for current bugs (which are constantly changing).

Star Citizen is a skill-based game. There is no ship that gives you an automatic win. Even if you have a fully crewed Hammerhead and your opponent is a small fighter, if you and your crew don't do what you need to and the fighter pilot is really good, they can take you down.
