This 2part video helped me so much. Girlfriends water pump went and I was gonna bring it to a shop but this video made me confident I could do it myself and by watching the video as I went along it went super easy
Bro way too much slack in the front of the belt where you market the pink dot you should of went counter clockwise one tooth put the belt on and with a 12 point socket turn it clockwise to tension the front of the belt than tension the belt with the tensioner just saying
Both videos helped me huge! I literally just finished changing my timing belt and water pump about 30 mins ago before commenting. Thank you so much

Excellent video. Can mention the torque value for the tensioner bolt.
Nice one!
Hey are the timing marks the same on one with a turbo?
For all TSI, it's a chain not belt. Only golf R and fsi are belt on vw
cant get on twitch no more im still ok
Glad I don't wrench anymore
Is this engine interference or not? Thanks
yes it's interference, most engines these days are (I don't know of any that are NOT).
Thanks, only I’ve read differing info online.
@@JD-cv2qf then trust that. I only tell you what I know, if you believe different, roll with it, no skin off my back.
