I'm not sure how possible it would be in the Sims, but I've been thinking that an 80s-vaporwave type aesthetic would be so cool to see! I'm imagining an indoor pool and neon lights everywhere :0c
Colourful minimalism is also a decor aesthetic I've been reading more about lately, and it might be an interesting challenge for you (since clutter is your niche), but it could be fun? :0
Pastel pop kit has a lot of items that remind me of that aesthetic actually! Like the ceramic tables with the grid-like design and some of the swatches on the rug too.
the builder lucca/luccaowens has made some cyberpunk-inspired builds and they fit this bill! lots of neon and 80s vibes, they pulled it off well!
I am a bit of an old lady and I decided about a month ago that I was so tired of the typical blue bathroom aesthetic and decided to start decorating it in iridescent and holographic city pop vibes and it makes me feel so happy. You’re never too old to decide to embrace color and vibes beyond what’s expected.

This goes perfectly with the Childish trait! Those sims can play with toys as teens and adults and enjoy watching kids TV. Also, I'm the same about stickers, I keep them in a box 🙈
i blue tack my stickers to my mirror so that i can move them around without sticking them permanently lol

The tent reading nook looks so cozy! An aesthetic I find fun is goblincore (it's very nature focused, but also collecting tiny stuff like rocks, buttons, etc) and it'd be neat to see that translated to an apartment ❤
This is SO cool! The way you created a cohesive space that's actually comfortable and cozy, even with all the bright, in-your-face colours is honestly so impressive. I really think it's such a testament to your creativity and your artistic eye that even though this is very unlike the builds you usually do, it's still so well done! (edit to add, if you're looking for more aesthetic suggestions for apartments, what about dark fairycore? Lots of dark greens and black, mushrooms, skulls/skeletons, plants, moths/butterflies, water features, etc.)
I’ve heard that aesthetic described as Goblin Core too! Would love to see Tonya play with that style!!

I am 35 tomorrow and I have a tamagotchi that comes everywhere with me, even to work. No one ever really 'grows up', and there is nothing wrong with indulging your inner child sometimes.
I collect Monster High dolls, they make me very happy. Love this build!!

I have never heard of kidcore before so this was a really interesting build for me. You mentioning nostalgia and lisa frank has me dying to see a lisa frank/90’s nostalgia inspired build !

I have a lavender painted room where I have shelves of Stitch plushies and Disney collectibles…I call it my Disney Den! I keep my computer in there and just can’t help but feel happy when I sit in there 💜

My style of decorating and furnishing changed a lot from when I was younger - its obviously a bit more cohesive and tidy now, but I still love to hang up little pictures of memes or quotes 😁 And I still love to collect bear plushies from different occasions bc I love them ❤😍

I'm not sure if there is a word for it, but I always think of Birdy's style as "using things not for their intended purpose." Like I saw someone that used a skateboard as a shelf. She also charges proportions of things. There was someone I followed for a while that had all these stools that looked like different fruit. Very cool!
I relate to you with the excessive squishmallows haha, I have 10 crammed onto my twin bed in my dorm room. Also, I would LOVE to see you furnish one of the bigger city living apartments. Maybe one of the 2-story ones in the fashion district?
I collect dolls (Monster High, Rainbow High, Shadow High, Barbie).
They might be children things but they bring me joy!
Doing a foster home in this style would be really cute. Like some kind of house that's catered towards actual children
Possible idea for your sticker collection! My boyfriend turns all our stickers into magnets, so our fridge is absolutely covered top, bottom, and sides in really cool magnets! Not sure if you’re into that, but thought I’d suggest it in case. 😊

I’m an artist and I purposely use fun and vibrant colors in my paintings bc it reminds me of art classes when I was younger ☺️
I also collect enamel pins (and stickers and 50 other things). I'm 60 yrs old. I have mine displayed. There is no age where you have to stop enjoying the things that make you happy.
for the stickers: you could have them in a sticker album (the same as the books you mentioned)! they're being used, it's easy to move to other places and it can be a reward for doing things!

I loved that you did such a niche aesthetic. When you mentioned it in your other video, I thought it would be tacky, but this turned out so elegant!

Lovely build as always! Speedbuilds are so satisfying to watch.
Also i must ask, are you just building on lots with super good lighting, or is there some lighting mods or filter effects going on in these? The lighting in the sims has never been my friend, but all the speedbuilds i watch have like.. good lighting.
It's more of a fashion aesthetic, but fairy kei could be interesting. It's a very whimsical style that often has a lot of pastels.
A little mori kei tiny house would be nice too.
As for the stickers, they sell magnetic backing as well. Maybe you could turn them into magnets?

You quoted my favorite Doctor!!! I love when you delve into aesthetics I'm not familiar with. I think the closest I've personally been to this has been trying to decorate a house when the kid was little (the hamster extras reminded me of when we wanted to place train stuff all along the top baseboards, have a train run thru the house, but that was too ambitious for us). I've only seen kidcore in ACNH build videos, so it's fun to see it in the Sims.
I don't think it's possible, but I've been renewing my love of nature reclaiming modern buildings, like Lori Nix's The City. Post-apocalyptic but lots of plants, preference for it to be actually functional.
When I was little there was this trend of collecting and exchanging stickers between friends and what we did was stick them on a photo album that way they are easy to peel from the plastic and you could exchange them with friends
idk how possible it is in the sims but a gyaru inspired apartment would be so awesome! maybe mixed with some mc bling stuff. i’m a gyaru and i love yr videos

1. i believe waffle makers are only supposed to be wiped with water and not washed with soap and 2. i think you should look into junk journaling! thats how i got over my fear of placing stickers xD

Im 37 and will gravitate to whatever brings me joy. I have a stickered water bottle. I have various nerdy objects (dr. Who yatzee, firefly monopoly, a custom made model head of Blue from Jurassic World). I also have bright and fun patterned leggings. One has fairies on it. Embrace whatever with childlike wonder, regardless of age.

i love aesthetics like rainbowcore and kidcore, i just turned 20 and people act like that means i should give up my love for colors and frilly cute things but like.. idk i just like a hyperfeminine aesthetic as well as like- maximalist colorful nostalgic aesthetics.. im also just most likely autistic and i have a special interest in dolls so i'll keep collecting monster high dolls and other dolls because i can same with plushies and stuff

I just discovered the term "frutiger aero", which was a huge design (both home and tech) trend in the 2000s that I never knew the name of but loved - futuristic, with lots of water, bubbles etc. In hindsight it's quite ugly but I'd love to see an apartment in that style!

Tbf, this aesthetic creeps me out a bit because it reminds me of those party venues or any kind of estabilishment designed to hold a bunch of kids together, it's 100% the bright primary colors and all patterns together and they give me a sense of "loud liminal space", if it makes sense. This is in no way shade to the people who do love it, I just find it funny it gives me an eerie vibe instead of a joyful one when it's made to look as cheerful as possible.
I'm 21 and i still have all my littlest pet shop toys.

So, I just turned 45 this year, and I feel the same. I have a few stuffed animals and stickers up in my spaces, but it seems that adults are expected to be all stuffy. Ba Humbug, I say!
