Geebz!! Keep the Lamb of God coming!! Haha You gotta do “Walk with me in Hell” . killer evil sounding riffs along with mark Morton’s bluesie- metal solo . Check it out man! Love the content!
I would like to recommend 'Ruin'. That song and the album it's on, really defined the band sonically for years to come. the 10th anniversary mix is absolutely killing it. Especially now that you've heard their latest work, it's gonna be cool to really see how they evolved from there.
I was so happy when the 10th anniversary mix came out. As The Palaces Burn has always been my favorite LoG album in spite of Devin Townsend's surprisingly flat production, and it was nice to finally get an upgrade.
Anything off that album would be great. I much prefer the rawer sound of the original mix though, probably mainly since I listed to the original mix so much that it’s the way my brain thinks it should sound. It’s a unique sound. Most of the time I prefer whatever version of a song I heard first.
One gun by lamb of god. Gods of rapture by meshuggah More ELDER. Compendium please so good. Potions by PUSCIFER on the recycle ♻️ Awwlright I am still here
LOG are one of the most consistent bands out there! Been one of the best in metal for 2 decades now. I'd love to hear your takes on "Memento Mori", "Overlord", or "Walk with Me in Hell"
I remember the first time I heard them around 2000, the rythyms between 2 totally different style guitar players was insane and unheard of to me. Not to mention what seemed to be just raw cranked amps and not over processed tracks. Fucking unreal band back in the day
D. Randall Blythe has such a distinct voice and his live performance is incredible. There was a period around the sacrament album where I saw them every time they came to my area. 3 of the most incredible shows I have seen. Lamb of God and Machine head was a great night. Now do Periphery - Habitual Line Stepper
Rock music in general is rebellious and goes against the tide. Lamb of God is one of the best examples of a band that really "sticks it to the man." Done with a lot of skill and talent.
I must once again bring your attention to Morphine - Buena. Thank you for your time. This message brought to you by the committee to have the Decomposer do a Morphine song.
Nice... you coincidentally did videos for my 2 favorite bands back to back, Gojira yesterday, LoG today, sweet. So, couple 3 tracks you should check out by LoG, 1 Vigil, 2 Ashes of the Wake, 3 Faded Line (triplet heaven).
these guys live were absolutely insane back in the day. they did a wall of death and my buddy was adamant he wanted to be in the front of it. i was like "thats a terrible idea" but he did it anyway. we caught up like a half hour later and his face was a bloody mess and he got knocked out of his shoes lmao. ill never forget having to stand around after the show and seeing his shoes being swept around by the guys cleaning up
While everyone has reacted to the fact you did lamb of god, and I'm not a patreon member yet... the lyrics of this song are devastatingly real. How we have fallen apart...
Finally! Please cover more lamb of god, Rick beato never does. I thought this song stood out on their latest album, I hope their next effort with Art is stronger. Been a fan since '05 and think wrath and resolution are overlooked and sacrament is a masterpiece that's only aged like fine wine.
If you haven’t heard of them before you should really give Diablo Swing Orchestra a listen, they are such a talented group of people and very underrated in my opinion!
some guitarists like to almost exclusively use the guitar volume knob to decrease or increase the level of overdrive. If you set your setup correctly, you’ll have practically clean tones on low volumes, but full force trauma when you turn the knob up. Nice for swelling noise in or out of your playing without having to run to your gear or get angry at your guitar tech.
Im pretty sure he's saying this is the new world normal because the lyrics are describing very touchy subjects about dark things that happen in the modern world like the natives having their culture squashed out and school shootings happening more often cauing children to feel fear and anxiety while at school. Very very interesting lyrical take and would highly recommend a deep dive on them
You've done a couple Between the Buried and Me. Please do one of their brand new songs, Human is Hell (bonus points if you include the song just before it, Sfumato, because they really are meant to go together).
"The Passing" + "In Your Words", from Lamb of God, is such a great combination of songs, listened back-to-back. The first one is like an interlude to the second. You should give it a try!
This is banging.. My favorite album from them is Sacrament. It's just put together perfect, and the songs are soo cool. I have to listen to this new one, what I've heard is really good though. How about White Zombie starface, amazing track from an amazing album. Keep on rocken it! 🤘👊
I’ve been on top of every LoG release since 03 (and of course backtracked to BtP), and this is the opportunity I’ve been waiting for - interested musically minded person asking about LoG songs to check! Lol From As the Palaces Burn - Ruin Sacrament - Blacken the Cursed Sun Wrath - Reclamation * Resolution - The Undertow VII - Engage the Fear Machine * * = good for a lyrics review too! AWWWRIGHT
Fun fact: Lamb of god's former drummer Chris Adler recorded the drums for Protest the Hero on their album "Volition". In some Vlog he mentioned it's been really challenging for him... Listen to "Without prejudice" or "Animal bones" or "Skies" from that album, great songs.
Trivium: The Phalanx off their new album In The Court Of The Dragon Twelve Foot Ninja: Over And Out featuring Tatiana Shmayluk from Jinjer off their album Vengeance. Jinjer: Vortex off their album Wallflowers And, because you've listened to Mike Patton in Mr Bungle, check out Mike Patton in Faith No More. Woodpeckers From Mars, Zombie Eaters, or The Real Thing off The Real Thing Everything's Ruined, Caffeine, or Kindergarten off Angel Dust. Have fun! Love the vids!
Double Barrel Friday request- King Diamond “Abigail” and Mercyful Fate “Desecration of Souls” This is the perfect Friday before Halloween track selection
Geebz, I highly recommend you check their old title under burn the priest " Inherit the Earth, or chronic auditory hallucination. That or do lamb but from ashes of the wake(I think their best CD)...like Omerta, and faded line or as the palaces burn,11th hour or blood junkie....
The guitar sound your referencing in the intro I believe is a chord shape being played backwards. Like rather than holding hypothetically a 7-9 shape you hold a 9-7 shape. I remember way back in grade school learning chord shapes and there were these 2 music snobs who always acted like they knew way more than everyone else and i would do these chord shapes on purpose to annoy them, worked like a charm :)
Please check out (since you are going over repeat bands currently) Between the Buried and Me - White Walls or Sun of Nothing, Mastodon- Capillarian Crest or The Czar: Usurper/Escape/Martyr/Spiral , or Clutch - The Regulator or Electric Worry. I have so many more but here is a start. I feel I have very good taste, but who doesn’t 😊.
While so many metal bands who have been in the game for a long time turn to a more mainstream sound, take Gojira for example, LOG still consistently put out crushing albums. Next you should listen to Blackened The Cursed Sun. That song is epic!
I highly recommend you watch the LOG Documentary "As The Palaces Burn", to get a dull scope on this bands journey... even a Patreon exclusive review would be great to hear
If you do another LOG reaction, please listen to Reclamation. It's arguably their best song from a composition point of view, and creates a beautiful atmosphere.
yeah this is definitely one you should check the lyrics on. you don't got to make a video about the lyrics or anything, but as an american you'll recognize something there, and as a lamb of god fan you'll appreciate something there. it's dark, but so is reality.
Nice, don't remember ever listening to this song, but I sure heard it in a different way than I normally would have! I'd like to request something completely different though: Mirrorthrone - So Frail, or No One By My Side if you'd enjoy a longer journey, or A Scream To Express the Hate of a Race I'd love to hear your take on these!
Reject the new world normal. Couldn't be more appropriate. Poison Dream and New Colossal Hate are both solid tracks on this album. The quarantine recording was great too.
Okay i have never seen anyone ask you to do Elbow - now there are so many to choose from from that band, but i would LOVE it if you listened to Kindling (fickle flame) from the album Little Fictions - preferably the version on RUclips featuring John Grant. seriously please.
Can you please do Scar Symmetry, Ghost Prototype II Deus-ex Machina? Those guys don't get enough love for the arrangements and playing. Would love to hear you break it down!
I would like to make some suggestions Aeons Torn by Inferi, Apparition by spawn of possession, La Veuve et Le Martyr by First Fragment and something from Rings of Saturn maybe Natural Selection.
Geebz!! Keep the Lamb of God coming!! Haha You gotta do “Walk with me in Hell” . killer evil sounding riffs along with mark Morton’s bluesie- metal solo . Check it out man! Love the content!
My favorite song EVER
I would like to recommend 'Ruin'. That song and the album it's on, really defined the band sonically for years to come. the 10th anniversary mix is absolutely killing it. Especially now that you've heard their latest work, it's gonna be cool to really see how they evolved from there.
+1 for Ruin! Now I have to listen to the whole album. Thank you 🙏
I was so happy when the 10th anniversary mix came out. As The Palaces Burn has always been my favorite LoG album in spite of Devin Townsend's surprisingly flat production, and it was nice to finally get an upgrade.

Hell yea! 🤟😎🍻
He should really do one of the live versions, though. Great song held back by shitty recording and production
One gun by lamb of god.
Gods of rapture by meshuggah
More ELDER. Compendium please so good.
Potions by PUSCIFER on the recycle ♻️
Awwlright I am still here
This one gets my feels every time!!! 😭😭😭🤘🤘🏼🤘🏿
🎵 the faint of hearts will fall in line but I will NOT SUBMIT ✊🏽✊🏿✊ !!!🎵
I highly recommend Reclamation by them, really good song.
Stunningly good track. Just... epic. :)
Yes please, Reclamation is one of their best songs!
Best log song
LOG are one of the most consistent bands out there! Been one of the best in metal for 2 decades now. I'd love to hear your takes on "Memento Mori", "Overlord", or "Walk with Me in Hell"
"This guy's voice"
Randy Blythe is very, very good.
I remember the first time I heard them around 2000, the rythyms between 2 totally different style guitar players was insane and unheard of to me. Not to mention what seemed to be just raw cranked amps and not over processed tracks. Fucking unreal band back in the day
I saw them open for Mushroom head in probably 2002? Maybe Earlier, anyway, they stole the show for sure.
My first time ever seeing them was a few years ago at Red Rocks Amphitheater... as always there, it was a religious experience!!! 🤘🏿🤘🏼🤘
Randall Blyat
Lamb of God - The Passing/In your Words play them back to back. The dynamics are huuuuge. Love your stuff Geebz!!
Primus - Shake Hands with Beef, it's fun with the crunchiest of bass
I agree with Death! but I also like “The Storm”, not your typical Primus tune, but I’m not sure there is such a thing
@@grrrom991 nothing typical about Primus that's for sure
Primus is one of the most talented bands of all time If you take out Les Claypool's singing 🤣P. S.... Primus sucks 💜
Something you've never heard of before; Rings of Saturn - Harvest. Would love to see you react to it!
You're the best Geebz!
I really appreciate having new Geebz videos to watch with my morning coffee as often as I do. Puts me in a fine mood
Rock music in general is rebellious and goes against the tide. Lamb of God is one of the best examples of a band that really "sticks it to the man." Done with a lot of skill and talent.
Please revisit the Dillinger Escape Plan. Farewell Mona Lisa or Gold Teeth on a Bum.
Please do Mudvayne, Severed! I've been waiting for someone to react to that song for forever, and it's so damn good, man. You will absolutely love it.
Man, you're reacting to several of my favorite bands! More Lamb of God, please! I'd recommend Walk With Me in Hell, Footprints and Momento Mori.
I'd still be stoked if you could revisit Mastodon. "Hearts Alive" is a must listen.
Man that would be epic no one does Hearts Alive.
At The Gates 🤙
Reclamation and resurrection man are two of my favorite LOG tracks, both stunning
I must once again bring your attention to Morphine - Buena. Thank you for your time. This message brought to you by the committee to have the Decomposer do a Morphine song.
Once in a while, Geebz, you remind me of Merlin from Sword and the Stone. Pure compliment.
Nice... you coincidentally did videos for my 2 favorite bands back to back, Gojira yesterday, LoG today, sweet. So, couple 3 tracks you should check out by LoG, 1 Vigil, 2 Ashes of the Wake, 3 Faded Line (triplet heaven).
Also check out Burn the Priest aka Lamb of God back in the day.
VIGIL!!! 🤘🤘🤘
these guys live were absolutely insane back in the day. they did a wall of death and my buddy was adamant he wanted to be in the front of it. i was like "thats a terrible idea" but he did it anyway. we caught up like a half hour later and his face was a bloody mess and he got knocked out of his shoes lmao. ill never forget having to stand around after the show and seeing his shoes being swept around by the guys cleaning up
his sacrifice was for the greater good. he is a hero.
More LoG for sure! Amazing depth in their catalogue
Anything from Sacrament album would be awesome. It's often overlooked.
Great as always, Chief!
Dude, your cough and video edit was GOLD lmaooo
I would love for you to react to "The Passing/In Your Words" by Lamb of God. It features one of the best song endings I've ever heard.
Please do Dimmu Borgir "Progenies of the Great Apocalypse"
The live version from Ozzfest 2004 is the best
Totally off topic, Please do some, Sepultura, or Soulfly. I'd love to hear you decompose some "tribal metal"!😍
Gotta Love The LOG!!! Always in the playlist. Thanks Geebz!!
If you haven’t heard of them before you should really give Diablo Swing Orchestra a listen, they are such a talented group of people and very underrated in my opinion!
The gist of them is that all of their songs have a different style, they try covering multiple genres within their albums
some guitarists like to almost exclusively use the guitar volume knob to decrease or increase the level of overdrive. If you set your setup correctly, you’ll have practically clean tones on low volumes, but full force trauma when you turn the knob up. Nice for swelling noise in or out of your playing without having to run to your gear or get angry at your guitar tech.
Full force trauma is a great way to describe a tone! 😄
Love love love lamb of god!!
Ooo and I can't wait to see another mudvayne (nothing to gein - live 2001 ozzfest) reaction :)
more LoG!!!
This band and song are amazing. Please react to their song RECLAMATIONS next? 😁🎶🤘PleasepleaseIthankyouILoveyoubye
Incredible song
Probably my favorite song off the new album
Im pretty sure he's saying this is the new world normal because the lyrics are describing very touchy subjects about dark things that happen in the modern world like the natives having their culture squashed out and school shootings happening more often cauing children to feel fear and anxiety while at school. You should give a listen to Every Time I Die - Map Change, or any of their songs honestly.
You MUST do anything off the new Every Time I Die album
Fun fact: Lamb of god's former drummer Chris Adler recorded the drums for Protest the Hero on their album "Volition". In some Vlog he mentioned it's been really challenging for him...
Listen to "Without prejudice" or "Animal bones" or "Skies" from that album, great songs.

Do some brand spanking new Trivium; “In The Shadow of the Abattoir” is possibly my favorite song of theirs strewn across ten albums. Phenomenal piece.
Just can't go fuckin wrong with lamb of god.

One of the best lead in and follow song pairs in lamb of gods album is Barbarossa into Invictus Off of their album Resolution
I love metal 💜But.... I can't wait for some more Primus and definitely Pink Floyd 😎 Favorite band of all time 😇
Love LoG. Love this song. Does it have to be a released song? My favorite is "Blood Junkie". Very unique, even for them.
Cut time is when I do my best Keith Moon impressions. Parades of fills like I'm Nick Mason playing Atom Heart Mother.
Rich the Ancient Metal Beast
While so many metal bands who have been in the game for a long time turn to a more mainstream sound, take Gojira for example, LOG still consistently put out crushing albums. Next you should listen to Blackened The Cursed Sun. That song is epic!
I love your work, thank you. Even if you don't do it for the channel, you should listen to Testament's D.N.R., Trial by Fire or Eyes of Wrath 🤘
Minus the bear - Absinthe Party at the Fly Honey Warehouse
yeah this is definitely one you should check the lyrics on. you don't got to make a video about the lyrics or anything, but as an american you'll recognize something there, and as a lamb of god fan you'll appreciate something there. it's dark, but so is reality.
if you do make a lyrics video that's dope, just meant you shouldn't feel pressured to do so.
What about checking 'NEVERMORE - Next in Line'!?
Very underrated Band!!!!
They should be next in line!^^
Please do LORNA SHORE TO THE HELLFIRE next, I wanna see how a composer react to every bit of it
Tremonti - Marching in Time
You've done Gojira, it's time for Alien Weaponry- Ru Ana Te Whenua

Nice, don't remember ever listening to this song, but I sure heard it in a different way than I normally would have!
I'd like to request something completely different though: Mirrorthrone - So Frail, or No One By My Side if you'd enjoy a longer journey, or A Scream To Express the Hate of a Race
I'd love to hear your take on these!
When you revisit Queens of the Stone Age, do "I Appear Missing" but make sure it's the full version not the short 5 minute version.
Mordicai Jones - Walkin’ in the Arizona Sun
Would love to see a reaction to this. 🤟😎🍻
More lamb of God
you should do blacken the cursed sun next
Reject the new world normal. Couldn't be more appropriate. Poison Dream and New Colossal Hate are both solid tracks on this album. The quarantine recording was great too.
Please do some Ghost. I would suggest starting with Cirice.
Periphery - Satellites
Opeth, A Fair Judgement.......
