I had someone from the internet get me fired from a job and someone mailed me a dead animal, for no reason other than that they hated themselves and wanted to dull my sparkle. I remember discovering lolcow when I was looking up some RUclipsr (don't even remember which one) some years back. Truly a deranged website full of people who need to go outside more often.

When I was in highschool, I dressed more alt than I do now and there was a kid who would take pictures of my outfits just to post them on a private Snapchat story like I was some kind of circus animal. People just can’t accept when others are different to them, and that somehow enables them to do cruel things without any regret. Don’t let this kind of ish bother you, people are always going to say awful stuff and the only thing you can control is being a positive person in this world. I would take up the advice of others in the comments and go to the police if you weren’t already planning on it. This is worth making some noise to secure peace of mind.

(to the totally valid suggestion that these people just make fun of concrete things about you, I'd like to add for them: please get help. not even as a joke, with genuine concern. if seeing someone dressing in a silly way drives you into a rage that lasts more than a couple minutes... that's an unhealthy reaction. obsessive rage can't be sustained without losing a bit of yourself. you don't gotta live like that :/ )
People will literally sit there and even make time to do this, it takes so much focus, and energy, and motivation, to keep up their crap for decades, they will legit sit and fester in their spite that will sit and fuel their spirit and some people will grow old putting their energy into something like that, that is depressing
Some people really want to spend their time doing crap like this because they don't like the person, or have nothing else going on in their life and people probably want to do this and get enjoyment from ruining people's lives, but if somebody did it to them they would beg for sympathy.
EDIT: Please get the restraining order as soon as you can, get the police involved, maybe have somebody go the forum and get evidence, get the person who had to remove you from the drag show to testify, get your friend involved, everyone you know that can literally vouch for what is happening involved, because since it's also in a small town SOMEBODY is gonna recognize somebody, and get that public tik tok, face, name everything, somebody is gonna get found out and that somebody is gonna end up getting a HEAP of trouble and rightfully so

This is a situation that a lot of people relate to on a much smaller scale with in person bullying. People take their judgements and run with them, I think it helps them skip self criticism and go straight to self righteousness.
You’re a human and everyone is learning as we go, it’s ok to grow and change. That doesn’t make it ok to stalk, bully, threaten humans irl.

What I think a lot of people need to understand is that this kind of gossip/chan board harassment comes out of environments designed to foster the most socially dysfunctional dynamics possible. I highly recommend never, ever setting foot in any of those online spaces, but anyone who has looked at them even just to do a passing assessment of the claims made there can immediately see that the people creating these threads full of libel are mostly very angry, often isolated people who are clearly projecting onto these online figures for the (false) sense of control that it gives them to not only lash out, but create these self-justifying fictions to soothe any discomfort they might have about lashing out with a manufactured sense of righteousness. The things they say about any creator really have nothing to do with the creator in question and everything to do with the online culture they’re immersed in and whatever emotional/psychological issues they’re trying to compensate for. I’m not even trying to armchair psychoanalyze (that much); posters will clearly spell out their own agendas in places like that, which is why most well-adjusted people sort of bounce off them and try to pay as little attention to them as possible.
That’s not to say that people on these forums aren’t responsible for the harm that they do; they absolutely are, and they should stop doing it. But there’s a point in this video where Pixie talks about feeling like they “bring it on [themselves]” and I think that’s not fair, like, to Pixie. Its one thing to acknowledge that having a big personality, distinctive style, and approach to ones online persona that leans towards being vulnerable with ones audience can be a bit polarizing in social media environments where algorithms force us all into a constant cycle of Hot Takes. But the level of outright fabrication and, honestly, straight-up creepy, invasive, and entitled rhetoric that Pixie has been experiencing goes beyond what I think anyone should feel obligated to anticipate.
I also want to acknowledge the bravery it takes to directly talk about these kinds of things. It can feel like these things are a weird sort of open secret - everyone is aware that it happens to some people, but there’s a fear that speaking directly about it will make it worse or maybe even cause it, so people act like the impact it can have isn’t “real”. Thats so isolating, not only for people experiencing it but for people who may never speak up or risk putting themselves and their work online out of fear of these forums and what they can do. But just like with other types of ab*se, I think that speaking honestly and without stigma about these things - just like Pixie does here - goes a long way towards creating a healthier, safer online environment for everyone. 💖🧿

I hope all the people talking shit about you on the forms understand that you are a human with feelings, and I’m sure they wouldn’t want to be talked about the way they talk about you. i will never understand why people waste their time on stuff like that, there's a bunch of creators i don't like, i just don't engage with their content and move on, make hate threads about someone means you care way to much on what they do.
It is...MINDBLOWING. the amount of time and effort these people put into these weird ass bullying sites. It makes ZERO sense to me. I have no interest in going to find your hate website but years ago I found that one just hating on RUclipsr girls and it was so blatantly obvious that it was pure jealousy, and yet still, that jealousy would drive you THAT far, to dedicate hours upon hours, writing essays about how much you hate them, digging up personal info, following them around and taking pics just so they can be like "look at her, she likes anime what a loser". I found that site when I was googling your RUclips handle instead of typing it in to actual RUclips. I didn't ever wanna reach out and tell you about it in case you didn't know already and it would really hurt you. I'm so sorry you're dealing with that. I did read through it pretty hard when I first found it and it truly was disgusting and disturbing what some people are so okay with saying. It really makes you wonder who the heck these people are in real life. That was actually the first time I had seen or heard anything about lolcow. Then I heard about it again with the EmilyArtful thing. that's when I realized the whole site was a hate site. I hadn't looked through the site other than the one time I found it. I'm sick to my tummy with the people that are on there. I'm sad to see you addressing it, because that means it is a real issue.

This has been happening for years, I thought it was over with. You are so sweet and I am sorry this is happening to you.
Sadly this is not the first story from some one I subscribe too saying some people from these sites has turned to real life stalker and well as online through private social media not sure how these sites haven’t faced some consequences from enabling this horrible behaviour.
I used to search people I follow on RUclips online and have found so much negative things about them online. There was a website that no longer exist it was probably one of those forums you have seen before. I remember this RUclipsr I use to watch and one of those forums people would talk bad about her. Like how she spoke english, got married to an older guy, etc. I understand that some people can be toxic but sometimes people will really say bad things even to those that are not toxic.
i truly believe that the people who dwell in those forums are deeply miserable individuals who are riddled with self hatred and other unresolved issues. they probably see you happily being your authentic self and get jealous, and that's why they lash out. it's a sad way to live your life

There’s a number of people with threads on that board who are genuinely just, like, perfectly chill and lovely people making fairly niche yet appreciated content. I have also heard of people being on l*lc*w and then ended up unironically following and like, actively supporting those creators (on Patreon etc). Sometimes when some people don’t like you, it’s a compliment.
@@fairesmashysmash Something isn’t right in their own lives, I’d imagine the majority of posters can’t even live up to their own standards, so they feel the need to criticize others. If we could see them all in a group irl, how many do you think are conventionally attractive, fit, and successful? Instead of learning to love themselves, they attack others for not conforming to these unrealistic standards.
@@bitterb6673 they see people confident living their true existence without fear, and without caring about the backlash they get for it, and it makes them angry because they have no confidence. They see people like pixie confident living so vibrantly and take it as a personal attack, because they dont think its fair that “weirdos” like her are able to be so confident but “normal people” like them are still insecure and suffering under the weight of their insecurities. And they target creators specifically because seeing them also have thousands of fans who support and love them, while they themselves feel alone, just makes them even more angry.
They look at her and go “its not fair that freaks like that can be confident and have people that actually like them and support how they look and act, but im miserable and hate myself and i have nobody on my side” and it makes them furious, and they take it personal. So to combat it, instead of just actually looking into why they’re so unhappy, they do everything they can to try to knock pixie down because they want her to have to suffer the way they’re suffering and want to make her as miserable as they are

I been through rough shit as well about something like this, like more cyber bullying I get so much. I’ve been triggered for the one of the users think that I had faking depression I always ignore that part because they don’t even know what I the hell I’ve been through. Even worse they made fun of my autism and having a gut condition called ibs. Like it’s not easy to really cooperate all that, even worse one of the users even contact my closest friends and I was just shocked from why the hell they just did that and right in front of me too. Some people just don’t give up just to ruin somebody else’s chance of life because I’m still alive and I’m still here and I’m trying to heal up because of all that trauma now, so for anyone who’s struggling something similar like this with Pixie is going through you’ll go through it I know it’s hard and yeah it’ll take some time cause I’m still alive doing what I love.

(Sorry this got so long I had THOUGHTS lol.) I genuinely don't know how you've been able to stand it for so long. I was first made aware of this years ago, went on there to look out of curiosity, and you are absolutely correct, it's a vile cesspit. The things I saw there were so vicious, they stuck with me for months after just glancing at it one night. I literally can't imagine it being about me, and just having to live with it existing for like, your whole life. Some people really can't feel good in life without putting others down, and are such cowards they have to do it anonymously, dishing out things they couldn't take a fraction of. They all deserve to get back what they're putting out in the world. You yourself have put out light and joy for almost a decade now. I really admire your openness to criticism and your ability to listen, learn, and grow. People will take things we do as kids or as younger, more ignorant people and act like that's all we can ever be, like we're born perfect and anyone who does anything wrong is just tainted forever. There's a huge difference between doing something wrong, being made aware of it, listening and changing, vs doing something wrong and just continuing to do it. The people who are on these forums are FAR more guilty of doing horrible things than you have ever been. They do it intentionally, openly, and continually and show no remorse or desire to change. Also, like, millions of people smoke weed and don't develop DID from it, so that makes no sense. It also makes no sense to accuse you of 'faking it'. Trisha aside, very very few people would find it worth it to pretend to have such a serious condition just for views. Also, it's not exactly like you are making millions off youtube to make it worth inviting that negativity in your life if it weren't true, it would make no sense. They're just genuinely evil people and I'm so, so sorry you're still having to deal with this so many years later. I hope you stay safe and don't let it ever break your spirit!

Never going to understand these people, like how is this a good use of their time and energy to just be cruel and petty? It sucks that this is how it is and how long it has been like this for you, I really genuinely wish these sites just didn't exist and weren't allowed to exist, they're literally dangerous and I wish more could be done. Hi please stay safe in all of this - please file a case for the people who are there locally for you at the very least with the police. I really hope these hate attacks will dile down a bit, but if the situation keep on like now or gets worse they will need to know. As is the situation is already pretty serious, but it needs to stop now before it could potentially get worse
