25:20 Stevie! If you see monsters in your room whilst sleeping - you might be in Sleep Paralysis. Many people have that (including myself) and it means you are awake during a nightmare! It's quite traumatic + disruptive and it caused me to have erratic sleep. I'm not sure what help is available, but some people find it is caused by blood pressure issues or trauma. Perhaps tell a doctor as it can indicate fixable health problems. Sadly in my case I haven't found a cure.
Sleep paralysis is also a symptom of narcolepsy

I’m really happy to know that other people who have DID aren’t constantly switching and experiencing pain with it. I was kind of worried for someone in my life who recently got diagnosed with it, but this video was very helpful!
A lot of videos online and in media don’t often portray DID as something you can live with. It’s kind of treated as a hindrance in everything (which I know it can be), so thank you for some other perspectives!

I seriously rly appreciate you keeping your disassociating/switching in the videos and explaining what's going on, it feels rly informative and being able to see that has kinda put my own disassociating into perspective. A lot of your videos have been encouraging me to be more open to the idea of something possibly going on within myself and w/ my mental health, and like seeing your confidence and seeing you grow into yourself w/ the diagnosis makes it a LOT less scary to deal w/ and to think about. This vid is also rly nice, bc I've been a little scared to be fully open w/ my partner about things like this but I know communication is important and seeing y'all makes me feel like it won't be so bad and would probably honestly help me a lot and could make my relationship stronger. I feel like I say thank you a lot when I comment on your videos lmao but I rly am thankful to have someone like you on this platform

I'm so happy you guys are happy together. My partner and I both have mental health things (not DID) and while we do love each other it can be a struggle sometimes when neither of us are doing well. Thanks for this video, my best friend and I both have DID and learned around the same time. My other friend also has it but knew prior to meeting me. I am constantly surrounded by this perspective and it can be really hard and jarring when I'm confronted with singular people's experience with me. I have no idea how to help them understand and make things easier to co-exist with because I don't have a bigger picture of how it is.
It's been really nice to hear about your and Stevie's experience and it gives me hope I can build better relationship with singular people. I needed that I've been feeling depressed about how to make things work lately. The section about boundaries was very insightful so thank you for this. Very funny video as well.

From a singlet whos ~interacted~ with other traumatized singlets, if a line is crossed or someone is triggered, things stop. It's usually pretty clear (imo) when someone is triggered, whether its a switch or a flashback or just extreme pain. Unless youre in bdsm, its p clear imo. when it comes to bdsm you have to be even more in tune with your partner and how they are usually during play.
The way it took me way too long to realize you meant singlet to mean 'Person who is single' and were not referring to tank tops
I agree with you on things being veeery different in real life compared to on social media. I was diagnosed with OSDD this year (but full DID is being considered now) after many years of PTSD being my main diagnosis. I've looked back now and just been like WOW... that explains SO MUCH...but when discussing it with friends of multiple years it apparently just came off as me suddenly being shy, overly excited, or rude just like you said lol. No one thought anything of the clear signs
I remember I had a split around 2017 resulting in a very loud and vulgar alter. In the middle of a jackbox session she screamed something like "you fucking bitch!" at one of my friends and everyone thought it was absolutely hilarious. Afterwards I felt so weird because everyone made a huge deal about it being funny and out of character, and eventually I got sad that I couldn't seem to replicate that energy myself
But anyways, I really appreciate this video! I love hearing about things from a partners perspective, as I've been kind of quiet about it with my partner. I'm sure he would be understanding, but it's such a stigmatized disorder that I haven't had the guts to discuss it in detail with anyone.
I'm glad you're making this content, because it's helped me feel more understood. I'm sure it's helping people without dissociative disorders understand things too, which is awesome! You've been one of my favorite creators for awhile, and youre actually who inspired me to major in fashion. Which I think is interesting because of course I choose the career that lets you change your appearance for fun...

we use memories to try figure out whos in front; like "do we remember details about this thing". but we have to constantly change what were using because eventually other alters are able to pick up details from all these events due to being co con when people think about it and stuff .

The same thing happened with me and my partner!! I would have really important convos with my partner and I would later contradict myself. My partner at the time also noticed my energy would change a lot while seemingly remaining the same person. Not bad different just, different.

Well since I am old. I now realize what my ex a million years ago in high school was going through. Christmas was like 10 gifts to each person I was dating with her. Sadly that was 1990s and any of this was not talked about and we hid who we were from the others. Plus dating a woman as a woman back then was also a nightmare. We already had that going against us then she was Multiple personalities. I did make a few to interact with hers but I know I was making them up and it was hella unhealthy. Lucky folks these days get mental health care. We wore poor and very young. Be glad you know what is going on. I have to live with a lifetime of regrets.
