the most believable thing about this is that an ultrakill player, upon stumbling into their haunted copy of the game, still proceeds to fire bullets randomly and spam whiplash on v2 despite the fight not even starting yet. too focused on styling to get scared

This is EXACTLY how I felt like when playing Dusk.
In dantes inferno, trees represented those who committed suicide and they were found near the heresey layer. This would honestly make sense if it were implemented and be absolutely horrifying. You're in a room. By yourself. Surrounded by suicide victims. That's terrifying.
I’m pretty sure the trees of suicide are part of the violence layer as “violence against self” but it would still be hella cool to see

Could you imagine that a dev adds something like this but as the sounds get louder like something is getting closer it disables the ability to pause or close the game, then something kills you (preferrably with a loud screech), then it closes the game itself.

This is super cliche, but I guess I'm a weenie cause this has me spooked. The part where you noped out as the freaky sound started playing, without even exploring the rest of the level, was genius. Now I'm gonna be up all night wondering what was supposed to happen next.

of all things I expected to find when I searched Ultrakill I was not expecting a creepypasta, but honestly good job! 2:40 was hilarious lmao
Hey, just some advice
Don’t title this as a creepypasta or hint at it being one. ULTRAKILL “Tree Garden” Secret would be a much better title. It might not seem like much and most people would discern that this is not actually in the game, but that little bit already throws people off from the beginning. If you label it a “creepypasta” it already makes people prepared to be scared and lessens the fear factor. Part of making something horrific that many horror games can’t tap into is letting the player be curious, followed by confusion, and then horror, which is thrown out the window when you tell them from the start “You are going to be scared!”

Pretty well done creepypasta, some things to note though. In between the transition for the garden you switched hands meaning you started with the knuckleblaster equipped, instead of speeding up, draw out those long and unsettling parts with good build up. the boss song is a bit overdone and the sandbox seems forced. this has really good potential and is very well done though

That thing that happens to ur ultrakill happened to a pirate pizza tower copy with a mod I owned, the game had no sound yet there was one character whose taunt could still be heard YOU COULD EVEN HEAR IT LIKE YOU NORMALLY WOULD EVEN WITH HEADPHONES

I refuse to call this a Creepypasta, this is FAR better.
(plus it's a collection of videos and is more comparable to an ARG, but whatevs)
Creepypastas fell into irrelevancy a while ago, but I'll still be on the lookout if anybody pulls a Username 666 or Marina Mordegarv and just "writes" a story where it's just lazily retelling this stuff.
I can't wait to see more, I was actually unnerved! Fantastic work!
