The best way to eat salted egg is mashing it with tomatoes with a spoonful of water on warm rice.Adding a bit of onion is good but optional. The best salted egg is when cracked open,a reddish/golden oil is dripping from the egg.
Sounds great! We didn't give it a go that day but maybe after hearing this we will have to try
Ha, I just started watching your original videos and finished the first Guadalupe visit. Good stuff, enjoy.
aw no way!! glad to know people are still watching those ones, our first trip to the Philippines was unforgettable
6:53 that's "binatog" made of sticky white corn topped with mixed coconut, sugar and sesame seeds
Thanks for sharing! It was really tasty
wala namang sesame seeds. pinagsasabi mo.
@@EoinandAislingAnd the name the vendor said was his name, not the snack 😅
hi1 eaon and eisling your now in guadalupe and your very near in GREENHILLS SHOPPING CENTER IN SAN JUAN CITY,THERE A LOT OF FAKE ITEMS BUT YOU FEEL ORIGINAL MANY ITEMS THERE
Happy to see you back in the Philippines Eoin & Aisling❤
happy to be back :)
One thing I noticed is the crowded traffic streets has hardly any litter. I think that hot snack is lugaw.
true, so neat and clean
We love to see that too and glad other people are able to notice it as well. Even though there are lots of people its still maintained and looked after
We come a long way from littered streets, thank goodness.
@@EoinandAislingThat is a corn in Tagalog is called BINATOG
@@EoinandAisling now manila it's pretty clean unlike before manila is so very crowded trash or garbage
Ooo really enjoyed watching and felt like I was there with you both! Thanks for sharing. I want to visit Manila one of these days. Goodnight from England. 😊
YESSSS!!! that's exactly want we want when we post our videos. We want to be in the room with you or you on the street with us
Don't act like this couple who don't even research their locations properly. This is their 2nd video calling everything Manila when that is in fact, wrong. Frankly, it's very disrespectful given we already have Google. How hard can it be to show us respect by naming your locations correctly?
6:00 is actually a snack, not a dessert. it's made of white corn. basically, unflavored corn topped with shredded coconut and condensed milk to add flavor.
Well its a tasty snack lol will definitely get it again
well, if you realize that there's actually binatog in the fridge right after having your meal and decide to eat it, then it's already a dessert.
Enjoy your trip madam / sir, happy shopping
Thank you! always happy when shopping haha
Welcome to the philliphines, I'm new subscriber from Phillipines..
Aw thank you and welcome to the channel ☺️
hi guys. that is called BINATOG. basically it's hard-boiled corn kernels with a bit of salt, alot of condensed milk and shredded coconut meat
it was good! simple but good
The pink eggs that you saw are actually duck eggs placed in mud with salt and left there for I don't know how long, but until the eggs has already absorbed the salt, washed and then cooked hard boiled. The pink color is simply for identification. While the sweet treat that you have just tried is a sticky white corn called the binatog, that can be eaten as a snack, a dessert or even for breakfast. It is also one of my favorites. 🙂
That sounds so interesting and kinda tasty haha thanks for sharing all that info with us :)
what you ate is corn called binatog
thanks for sharing
Hi guys..❤ tale care
That hot snack is called Binatog..
Its shredded corn, coconut, condensed milk and sometimes sugar 😊
the pink egg is like an appetizer, must be combine/mix with raw tomatoe sliced together same as the pink egg in a bowl, fried fish and rice with coffee or cocoa. good for brkfast or dinner. thats it, combo for pink egg.
sounds very light and refreshing
The one you ate with coconut is called binatog, in consist of white corn, coconut and condensed milk
it was good!
It's called "Binatog" famous snacks, white corn, coconut and a little sugar
thanks :)
Those fake stuff look nice and good when worn by these two lovely couples. Pls consider modeling as your secondary job. 😂😂
there are also levels of fakery... the displayed are the lower quality... the better are hidden, so ask for it...
haha do you think we could make it work haha
@@EoinandAisling I'm sure you can easily get modeling jobs here or appear in commercials since you guys are so photogenic and bubbly. 😊
Will you visit venice grand canal mall in Mckinley near BGC
Go to greenhills and cartimar
we will have to check them out
0:13 They said Shout out,
thanks for clarifying lol
⭐️ that’s BINATOG- boiled white corn with shredded coconut and condensed milk. You know… 🌽 but white.
Red salted eggs are usually served in salads with tomatoes. You might find them in bread as well.
The vendor called it Marvin. 😅
@@solkalibri1376 that was his name! That’s binatog ! Corn with shredded coconuts
We really liked and now we think we need to try the salted egg
he had us so confused hahah
well it was nice to meet marvin lol
Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan is the most convenient shopping center for bargains and replicas. Anyway which malls did you purchase all your Crocs, I think it is not in GUADALUPE.
I think it was close to the 999 mall, we went and got changed before heading shopping so went to a new area. I think its maybe close to greenhills
It’s called Binatog. It’s actually corn.
Corn??! no way
Green hills and divisoria are the best place to shop for fake goods
we will have to go back
They colored it red to be distinguished as salted egg
makes sense!
Try going north this time also check out Divisoria or Cubao Farmer's 😉
Ohhh that sounds fun, we have been to Divisoria but not to the cabao farmers
ITS BINATOG CORN,COCONUT,MILK OR SALT
ohh sounds as good as it tasted
I bought those crocs sandals, too. Though, they’re not originals, it lasted for some years also. (just wear them with care!)
They are just as good, maybe not the same life span in them but i love them and will look after them too
Hi guys little different to cork back home 😂

btw, next month, from May 3 -22, will be the Manggahan Festival or Mango Festival in Guimaras, the mango capital of the Philippines. Reputed to have the sweetest mangoes in the world.
That sounds like so much fun, we LOVE MANGOS
when buying fake stuff ask for class AAA, they're the closest to the original quality but pricier. then there's class A then there are lower classes which is really poor quality.
thanks, thats a great tip to know!
Wow thats very cheap i love it
Filipino call it binatog but it’s a corn…😊
I love to Visit All the Knock Off Store in the Philippines , I probably Run Sack The Area and Bring All the Good Stuff Back Here in the U.S. And Sells it to my Office mate 😂😅😂👍👍👍💪👌✌️🙏💕
thats mostly chinese owned 😂 exported here what do you expect product from china.... Made in China
*Guadalupe is NOT in Manila either.* Gahd ... can't you even Google your locations so you can correctly name them? You're being disrespectful and entitled thinking you can just go to any country and call anything any name you want! You are abusing the fact that most of us are too meek and polite to call you out, huh ?
What you eat is we called " binatog"
IT WAS GOOD!
