The 'We Are Monster High' music video is actually a promotion for the series. If you listened to the lyrics, you'll find that they are delivering a message about being proud of who you are, freaky flaws and all. It is one of my personal favorites because it is saying that as even as monsters, we should be proud of who we are.

I was an MH fan as a kid but only now realized that We Are Monster High was filmed at my old high school. Buuut it was done before all the cool paintings in the hallways were there 😭

Everyone was a little bummed when they heard about it because they planned it during a time absolutely no one could even accidentally see Ariana XD
The "It's Over Song" is my personal favorite. It show how much that Deuce love Cleo but he thinks that he isn't good enough for her. It also show that Cleo love he too and it doesn't matter how he act and don't what other think about them. Wonderful couple!!!❤❤❤

Tragically the r&b vibes are exclusive to the movie Boo York, Boo York, and Monster High isn’t the type of show with regular periods of singing. There’s songs over montages, but those are usually pop songs.
The breakup song got me in tears the first time I heard it. Like I was in my feels. I'm extra emotional when I'm by myself and listening to that song knowing the characters, got me in tears.
Now, that song still sends chills through my body and makes me feel sad but at least I don't cry 😅

Just for context in the second song, the tabby cat has a pink crystal that stole the black cats voice. The black cat is a famous singer in boo york and so the butterfly was taking the crystal back to the black cat.

Idk what it was, probably budget but the cgi movie only has one male and one female singer which means all the characters share the same singing voice. Thats why the difference in the guys talking and singing voice was such a shock.

Movie: Boo York, Monster High
Summary of the Boo york Monster high movie: Cleo De Nile invited her friends to go to Boo York with her while she attends a Gala at the end of the week, There Catty Noir, Has a problem finding her music, along the way she finds her love interest and her music(ofc) Cleo's Sister Neffera and her dad have a plan to break up Cleo and Deuce by convincing Duece that Cleo is out of his league, (ouch) so Cleo can have ultimate power with Pharoh (Catty Noirs Interest),
Towards the end of the movie Neffera steals the comet crystal(powerful rock) and uses it to help with her plan.
Through out the movie a comet is shown, with a woman inside uncouncious, she wakes up at the end of the movie before the comet destroys the whole world. (There are many problems solved at the end of the movie)
Movie ends with all problems being solved.

Search Inside: Beginning song(First Problem)
Empire: Shows what they are going to do when they finally get the ultimate power which they never got (Neffera and the Dad)
It Cant be over: Its obvious Duece breaks up with Cleo
Boo york, Boo york: Catty and Pharaohs affection for each other, Pharaoh breaks his mothers rules
Shooting Stars: At the end of the movie, good song
Steal the show: after Neffera and Lorelai steals Catty's Voice with the Comet crystal, Lorelai uses Catty's voice to put on a show. Catty and her friends come and save the show.

Duces voice change is the FUNNIEST thing to ever happen on monster high.
The full version of It Can't Be Over is even better!! I don't know why they cut out some of it but they left out some of the best parts!!

The reason why deuce broke up with cleo is bc Cleo’s sister was telling deuce that if he loved cloe he would brake up with her so she could be with someone who is royal and since deuce is guy a regular guy and cloe if royal and in the song empire it’s about Cleo’s sister and dad singing how they want to get Cleo with this family’s son so that’s why they broke up but at the end of the movie they get back together
