Thank you so much for posting this video with all the detailed and valuable information. This helped me make a decision to buy our retirement home at Lake Ashton.

There is a HOA Fee at Lake Ashton. Also, a management company for Lake Wales - Lake Ashton Residents.

Great job on audio AND video. Beautiful community, but sad to hear no gas. Keep the fart jokes coming. Haha

My parents lived in Lake Wales around 1975 right across the hiway from the Catholic church. My father managed a small nursing home next to the house they lived in. A blind man lived next door to my folks. I'm sure they have ruined Lake Wales now. In '75 I remember beautiful homes that descended down around a lake. At least I have some wonderful memories of driving from Boca Raton to Lake Wales. Some crooks who owned the nursing home wanted my Dad to do some illegal things which he refused to do. Florida has been ruined from the early 60's when we moved there. A shame.

It would be interesting to know why residents chose their communities given the many choices available, monthly outgoings, too big, too small, location, property design etc. Thanks for the video. 👍

Is it possible to pay the CDD off in one lump sum? If so, then what would your remaining monthly HOA fee be?

Yes, you can pay the CDD off. You will continue to pay the maintenance fee to the CDD management for as long as you live there. I believe that amount has increased to $2269 per year.
