Lake Wales could double in size after green-lighting new subdivisions

  • Polk County is booming in no community in that county is growing faster than Lake Wales. Right now, the city has given the green light to dozens of new subdivisions, which could become home to about 18,000 new residents. That would double the city's population.

    Bartow, Winter Haven and Lakeland FL are better choices with less crime.

      Well, you still have to go to Winter Haven to get the premium restaurants, also idiots in Lake Wales speed down the city streets such as 9 Street south of burns avenue really needs speed humps installed. BADLY

    Now here's a town you can drive 45 mph down a 25 mph residential street and never get caught. 9th st off of burns avenue. The official town speedway.
