when I first saw the title, I though it was another youtuber who had "scraps" worth hundreds, but then realized it was you, and man, you really did make art out of scraps! always proud to watch your videos lol. they are always inspiring.
Me too! Like the RUclipsrs who say “ Build a Robio workbench for $50!” Then proceed to use about $10K worth of equipment to make it.
Totally…
“I had some scraps laying around and decided to build a bench top. So here are my 400 lbs of oak offcuts, and some left over Ebony and Bubinga” 🙄
really awesome. it must feel so good to have a new bench, and to clean out the scrap wood pile.
i dont want to be the RUclips-Safety Police. But you should be careful with some of those table saw cuts for wood thats wider than it is long. Dont want it to pinch between the fence and the blade.
stay safe! keep making awesome stuff!
This is EASILY my all-time favorite "scrap wood" project. GREAT JOB!!!!!
Great bench and AWESOME determination to create your own panels like that from scraps! Use what you have.
What a great way to get rid of all that scrap lumber. You ended up with one of the most beautiful work benches I have ever seen, almost to beautiful to use!
i thought that was absolutely brilliant. shows what can be done with proper scrap wood. subbed
I actually laughed out loud while watching this video. Finally someone whose dust collection system is as non-existent as mine 🤣
Nice to see a shop that looks like it's worked in
my wife would love that for her kitchen 👍
Beautiful and cost effective. You could teach some of the other youtube woodworkers a thing or two about wood conservation. 👏
That is so much nicer than it has ANY right to be for being scrap. Beautiful work with a limited set of tools (and a set probably most people have!)
WoW! that is absolutely beautiful! Such craftsmanship.
What an awesome beautiful bench with great craftsmanship from such a young man, it’s great to see that woodworking has a future, most kids rather play video games you’ve got a gift and an excellent future ahead of yourself congratulations & thanks for your time.
Great job, Josh! All the different types of wood make this a work of art. You have talent.
1000th like 🤣 great build, just goes to prove you don't need the nicest newest tools to make beautiful pieces!!
That's the best looking work bench I've ever seen. It's down right pretty.
I always love seeing a new upload from you. Great work.
Great job man, been looking into building something like this for cheap and this a great option
Great build! turned out beautiful! Thank you for sharing your time and talent!
This is amazing, I really love this bench and can't wait to try this
It’s like the prettiest workbench ever...and out of scraps. I wouldn’t want to scratch it or mess it up. Really nice looking
Absolutely incredible. You have an amazing talent to visualize and make beautiful things out of the simplest of materials. Best I've seen.
Wow that bench is awesome
I got a ton of pallet wood of 12-18 inch long having split down 6. The idea of gluing bits to get stronger wood is a good one
Love the bench bud. I like how you view what most of us consider trash cut offs as usable wood still. Great work
Loved this build. Great way to use scraps and also your creativity shows through with the joinery used and the way you processed your pieces
Absolutely beautiful and creative. Thanks for the inspiration.
Well done Josh. Great to see how you used up the scraps of wood and actually made a beautiful piece of workshop furniture. Well done and thanks for sharing. Col.
That is awesome mate👍 really cracking bench and out of bits of wood that most people would fling in the fire, Don't you just love the way grain magically appears when oil goes on it? Most excellent.
You amaze me. Love seeing your skill and creativity. Great work.
Great work. Using scraps and ingenuity. Please keep making videos.
Very nice looking workbench!
Thanks for sharing!
Dude this build is insane! Amazing work from scrap! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome project, turned out beautiful!!!!!
Great job, love the bench 💫
Amazing, you rock Josh!!!
Good idea to clean up the shop. Love it, thanks.
work of art.
B. E. A. utiful! What a gifted dude.
A real beauty! Ten thumbs up!
Beautiful!
beautiful project
Dude, that looks really cool!
Great job. Looks very nice.
Awesome! it is beautiful.
Another fine job. thank you for sharing. 😎👍👏
Beautiful build
Such a great idea you gives us thanks a lot bro
Fantastic.
This is what I call a real scrap wood challenge. People call me crazy because I sort and save every bit of my scrap wood. I even have old pill bottles with sanding dust from all kinds of wood cuz you never know when your going to need it as a filler. My scrap collection has saved me more than once over the years. Ive been thinking about a new bench and this gave me all kinds of ideas. Thanks for the vid. Work bench looks great!
Haha, it is reassuring to know that there are other wood hoarders like me in the world.
Turned out great, and it gives me an idea for making a top for a bench I'm building right now. I'm too cheap to buy plywood at current prices, but I've got a pile of shorter construction lumber cutoffs. Thanks for this video and the ideas. Thumbs up!
really awesome...
Awesome work👍
Awesome job 👊🏼
Solid Table.....Must weight close to a Ton. Great Job.
Wow that is not only useful but beautiful!
P.S. really love the vice/clamp attachment 👍
I have a whole lot of small strips of exotic woods and oak cut-offs of various sizes. I have been contemplating doing something similar with them to make boards. Your video tells me I'm on the right track.
I just hope the cost of glue doesn't go up and outpace the cost of wood, LOL.
Thank you for your inspiration!
It is a beautiful scrap wood table and I want to make one. Your messy work area makes me want to grab a broom and vacuum cleaner, 😄🙃😊😂
Turned into a really nice work bench as always nice work man!
Very nice!
Great job very impressed
Great stuff!! I would have killed for a wood shop like that when I was a kid. Be thankful my friend. Keep up the great work.
You are an extremely talented young man! You have a new subscriber, and I'm looking forward to seeing more projects!
I think the coolest thing about Josh's videos is that I know I can just hit the LIKE button the second it starts playing...
Super job man! That is something you will always use! Bruce/🇨🇦
Nice scrap wood workbench, almost too nice for a shop project. well done
Looks great. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes.
Nice work, easy subscribe for me. I have a ton of scrap and never thought of putting it to use on something this big, inspired now. Great job!
Great Job
You just do stuff, you are creative, inventive, don’t waste materials, break a bunch of “staunch, stuffed flannel shirt” rules, then create something amazing. Thanks for sharing this stuff. So many say if only I had, where you say I got these things what can I build… if I wore hats mine wood be off to you.
Nice job!
Great design - obviously very well planned. Super solid & very sturdy! Likely much better than any pre-built workbench costing big $$$ :-)
Very nice.
Hey Josh, you did a fantastic job with scraps. I like the way you rounded off everything and did your own design of the clamp too. Great job!
Great work Josh
Very impressive
Nice job young man
Really nice.
Well done! A bench is a game changer!! That was a ton of work, well worth it though. Cheers, and keep up the good work, man.
Nice build
Very impressive bench, nice work. Your work with the table saw is scary, please be careful. One other comment, get a broom and a dust pan, you will be much safer.
Good job man it's nice piece of work😉
Awesome build! Now would someone PLEASE teach this young man some shop safety-basics and help him clean his shop before he gets hurt?
Old video, check my latest community post
damn, looks nice
Impressive.
Wow!
Excellent use of what many consider trash
As always josh schaweet build. That would make a great bar be que pit table for a Weber 👍
Dam! nice! table !
Now that's how to use up scraps which are too short! Just glue em together to make longer stock and you end up with an awesome workbench to make more scraps on. Great build mate 👍
Young man, I'm sure you have been told, so forgive my repetitive statement, but the skills you have developed are supernatural. You have an innate. talent at woodworking.and if you continue to work hard at your God-Given talent, the universe will be your oyster. Outstanding job on. the work table. You have a new subscriber. Keep up the good work. Cheers.
SWEET
Scrap or no, that's a fine looking workbench, Josh!
Billy
Beautiful man, great use of practically free materials....my can of guy..lol
New Subscriber. Hals Wood Shop. Great Job on this bench, I know this should make you feel proud to come into your shop. I know a few men who would be envious. Your other 2x6 projects are interesting for joinery and designs. Good ideas. Interesting shop for your age. Take care, keep making projects.
Looks amazing. I made a pallet workbench and nowhere as good as this
Hey Josh, really took inspiration to your workbench and would love to try attempt one myself as I sit with scrap wood piles.
I went to your site but no plans are available, so I will try make do.
Keep up the great work, very talented and skilled.
